Rode o selector de ponto para "B".
A largura máxima do ziguezague é "5".
Esta largura pode ser, porém, reduzida ou
aumentada rodando o botão de "0" a "5".
A densidade do ponto aumenta quando o
ajuste do botão de comprimento de ponto
se aproxima do "0". Para um ponto
ziguezague eficaz, o comprimento do ponto
deveria ser de "2.5" ou menos.
Quando o botão de comprimento de ponto
está situado entre "0" - "1", os pontos são
muito apertados produzindo assim o ponto
cetim. Este ajuste é utilizado para casear,
para os pontos decorativos e os apliques.
Quando o tecido a coser é muito fino,
colocar uma folha fina de papel sob o
tecido para cosê-lo. É fácil de rasgar e de
retirar o papel uma vez a costura terminada.

O calcador para fecho de correr pode ser
fixado do lado esquerdo ou do lado direito,
conforme o lado que quer coser. (A)
Para não desviar quando chega perto do
cursor, deixar a agulha picada no tecido.
Levantar o calcador e em seguida empurrar
o cursor para atrás do calcador. Baixar o
calcador e em seguida continuar a coser.
É também possível utilizar o calcador para
fecho de correr para coser um retrós ou
guarnição.
Ajustar o comprimento de ponto entre "1" e
"4" segundo a espessura do tecido. (B)
