Principi di base della cottura a
microonde
Tempo di cottura: Prestare attenzione
ai tempi di cottura. Selezionare il tempo di
cottura più breve specificato e, se necessario,
aumentarlo. I cibi che vengono cotti troppo a
lungo possono iniziare a fumare o prendere
fuoco.
Alimenti: Disporre i pezzi di cibo nel
prodotto in modo uniforme. Tagliare il cibo
in pezzi più o meno della stessa dimensione.
Posizionare i pezzi più spessi vicino ai bordi.
Coprire gli alimenti: Durante la cottura,
coprire gli alimenti con un coperchio adatto
al microonde. Il coperchio previene gli schizzi
e aiuta a garantire una cottura uniforme dei
cibi.
Girare gli alimenti: Durante il processo di
cottura, girare i cibi una volta nel prodotto in
modo che piatti come il pollo o gli hamburger
cuociano più velocemente. I pezzi di cibo
grandi, come gli arrosti, devono essere girati
almeno una volta.
Riordinare completamente i piccoli alimenti,
come le polpette, a metà cottura. Girare le
polpette e spostarle dal centro del piatto al
bordo.
Alimenti con buccia/guscio: Perforare la
buccia di patate, salsicce e cibi simili prima di
cuocerli. Altrimenti potrebbero esplodere.
Alimenti con buccia/guscio spesso:
Punzecchiare zucche intere, mele, castagne e
cibi simili prima di cuocerli.
Grasso o olio: Non scongelare il grasso
o l'olio congelati nel prodotto. Non friggere
nel prodotto. Grasso o olio possono prendere
fuoco.
Bevande: Quando si scaldano le bevande
nel prodotto, può verificarsi un ribollio
ritardato se la bevanda è in ebollizione. Fare
attenzione quando si maneggia il contenitore.
Per evitare un’ebollizione improvvisa:
Se possibile, posizionare una bacchetta
di vetro adatta nel liquido durante il
riscaldamento.
Dopo il riscaldamento, lasciare riposare il
liquido nella camera di cottura [6] per circa
20secondi per evitare bolle inaspettate.
Popcorn: Utilizzare solo popcorn adatti per
microonde.
Utilizzare le stoviglie adatte
Il materiale ideale per l’uso in un forno a
microonde è permeabile alle microonde,
così da permettere all’energia di entrare nel
contenitore per riscaldare i cibi. Le microonde
non sono in grado di penetrare il metallo. Per
questo motivo non vanno utilizzati contenitori
e stoviglie in metallo.
Non utilizzare nemmeno prodotti di carta
riciclata. Questi possono contenere piccoli
frammenti metallici che possono causare
scintille e/o incendi.
Si consiglia di utilizzare piatti rotondi/ovali
invece di contenitori quadrati o oblunghi,
poiché i cibi tendono a scottare negli angoli.
