English – 21
Connecting the iPod
Power off the Micro Stereo Hifi system and your iPod.
Open the docking station by placing your hand into the opening found on
the right side of the cover. Pull from the cover until it lies completely on the
surface where the device is currently placed.
Latest-generation iPods include an adapter that you can place into the
opening of the docking station. If there is no adapter available, you may
skip this step.
Place the iPod on the multi-connector in the docking station. Your iPod will
power on automatically after it has been inserted.
Press the On/Standby button (15) on the device front panel or the
On/Standby button (27) on the remote control again to power the Micro
Stereo Hifi system on.
Press the CD/iPod button (18) on the device or the CD/iPod button (28) on
the remote control as many times as necessary until the display (3) reads
“iPod” to indicate iPod mode.
Use these buttons to toggle between CD and iPod mode. In
standby mode, the last selected mode will be stored.
Sometimes it may be necessary to press the button twice.
The
layback functions of the inserted iPod can be controlled
via the device buttons and the remote control of your Micro
Stereo Hifi system only. For more information, read the
information starting from page 25.
If an iPod has been inserted into the docking station but it is
not being used, it will be powered anyway. This allows the
internal iPod battery to be charged. The same function also
apply for standby mode.
The Radio Tuner
Press the On/Standby button (15) on the device front panel or the
On/Standby button (27) on the remote control again to power the Micro
Stereo Hifi system on.
Press the FM TUNER button (16) on the device or the FM TUNER (43)
button on the remote control.
