Grinding coff ee beans
for fi lter coff ee
1) Remove the lid 1 from the motor unit 4.
2) Fill it with the required quantity of coff ee beans.
NOTE
Please do not fi ll the appliance with more
than 36 g of coff
ee beans. If you do, the
coff ee beans will not be correctly ground.
36 g is equivalent to around 4 tablespoons
of coff ee beans!
Please only fi ll up with coff ee beans so that
the stainless steel container in which the
blade 2 r
otates is full. If you fi ll the container
up with more beans, they will not be correctly
reached by the blade 2 and therefore not
properly ground.
You will require around 6 - 8 g of coff ee
po
wder for one cup of coff ee. Please observe
the instructions in the coff ee-maker operating
manual.
3) Put the lid 1 on.
4) Press and hold the switch 3 until the coff ee
beans have been ground to your requirements
(around 20 - 30 seconds). The indicator lamp 5
will illuminate for as long as you press the
switch 3.
The coff ee grinding grade is infl uenced by the
quantity of coff ee beans added and the length of
grinding.
The longer you grind the coff ee, the fi ner the coff ee
powder.
Shorter grinding results in coarser coff ee powder.
NOTE
Please observe the information about the
g
rinding degree in the coff ee-maker operating
manual.
5) Release the switch 3 once the coff ee beans
have been ground to your requirements and
wait until the blade 2 is at a standstill. The
indicator lamp 5 goes out.
6) Take the lid 1 off and disconnect the mains
plug from the power supply.
You can now remove the coff ee powder using
a spoon or similar.
