By purchasing the SilverCrest air fryer SHF 1650 A1, hereinafter referred to as air fryer, you have
opted for a high-quality product.
Familiarise yourself with the air fryer before using it for the first time, and read these operating
instructions carefully. Pay particular attention to the safety instructions and use the air fryer only as
described in these operating instructions and for the specified range of applications.
Keep these operating instructions in a safe place. Include all documents when passing on the air
fryer to someone else.
1. Intended use
This air fryer is used for cooking food such as meat, fish, side dishes and vegetables. This air fryer is
not designed for commercial use or operation in a company. This air fryer may only be used for
private purposes as any other use is not as intended. Furthermore, the air fryer may not be used
outdoors or in tropical climates. This air fryer meets all relevant norms and standards in conjunction
with CE conformity. In the event of any modification to the air fryer that was not approved by the
manufacturer, compliance with these standards is no longer guaranteed. The manufacturer does not
accept any liability for any resulting damage or faults in such cases.
Please observe the regulations and laws in the country of use.

4. Safety instructions
Before using the air fryer for the first time, read the following
instructions and pay attention to all warnings, even if you are
familiar with handling electronic devices. Store these operating
instructions in a safe place for future reference. If you sell the air
fryer or pass it on, always include these instructions. They are
an integral part of the device.

information for safe operation of the air fryer and
the safety of the user.
DANGER! This symbol warns about injuries or
burns associated with hot surfaces of the air fryer.

The air fryer is not intended to be operated with an external
time switch or a separate remote control system. Never
leave the air fryer unattended when it is switched on. It
poses a fire hazard!
This device can be used by children aged 8 and older and
by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities
or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised
or have been instructed on the safe use of the device and
understand the resulting risks. Children must not play with the
device. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be
carried out by children, unless they are older than 8 years of
age and are supervised.

If smoke is produced, or there are any unusual sounds or

service personnel. Never inhale smoke from a potential
device fire. If you have inhaled smoke, however, consult a
doctor. The inhalation of smoke can be harmful.
Never touch the mains cable and the air fryer with wet
hands because there is a risk of an electric shock!
The air fryer must not be covered to avoid overheating. It
poses a fire hazard!

Always place the air fryer on a flat, heat-resistant surface
and not in the vicinity of heat sources and flammable
materials, liquids or gases. Leave at least 50cm clearance
all around the air fryer to prevent contact with flammable
and combustible materials because there is a risk of fire
otherwise!
The air fryer must not become damaged in order to prevent
hazards.
Ensure that no fire sources (e.g. burning candles) are placed
on or near the air fryer. It poses a fire hazard!
Do not leave the air fryer unattended when it is operating.
Always switch off the air fryer when it is not in use and
remove the mains plug from the socket. Put away the air
fryer only when it has completely cooled down. It poses a
fire hazard!
Warning: Fire hazard! Never use the air fryer in the vicinity
of flammable materials such as curtains, drapes, etc.
The air fryer must never be exposed to any direct heat
sources (for example, heaters) or direct sunlight or bright
artificial light. Also avoid contact with dripping water and
splashes and corrosive liquids. Do not use the air fryer near
water. In particular, the air fryer should never be submerged
in liquid (do not place any items filled with liquid, e.g. vases
or drinks, on the air fryer). Also ensure that the air fryer is
never subjected to excessive shocks and vibrations.
Furthermore, no foreign objects may penetrate the device.
Otherwise, the air fryer could be damaged.

Mains cable
Always handle the mains cable by the mains plug and do
not pull on the cable itself.
Do not place the air fryer, furniture or other heavy objects on
the mains cable and ensure that it is not kinked.
Never tie a knot in the mains cable and do not tie cables
together. Ensure that the mains cable is placed so that no
one can trip over it and it does not cause an obstruction.
Make sure that the mains cable does not touch any hot
surfaces of the air fryer.
Do not use adapter plugs or extension cables that do not
comply with applicable safety standards, and do not make
any alterations to the mains cable! If the mains cable is
damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
customer service representative or a similarly qualified
person to prevent any safety hazards.

6. Prior to use
Take the air fryer out of the packaging and remove the packaging material completely. Check the
air fryer for signs of damage. The air fryer must not be used if it is damaged.
Prior to its initial use, clean the air fryer as described in the section "Cleaning".

7. First use
Place the air fryer on a flat, heat-resistant surface. If the
surface is sensitive, place a heat-resistant board under the
air fryer.
There is a risk of burns! The temperature of the accessible
surfaces may be very high when the device is operating. Hot
steam continues to escape from the ventilation slots during
operation. Hot steam may also escape when you open the
air fryer. To remove the food, just touch the handle (9) and
do not touch the pan (7), basket (6) or the inside of the air
fryer.
The accessible surfaces of the air fryer can become very hot.
Use pot holders or oven gloves to prevent burns. There is a
risk of injury.
The food to be fried may be placed only in the basket (6).
The basket (6) may be filled up to the "MAX" marking at
most.
Fire hazard! The pan (7) and the basket (6) must never be
filled with oil.
To cook food in the air fryer, proceed as follows:
Turn the thermostat (1) and the timer (4) to the "OFF" position.
Remove the pan (7) and the basket (6) by lifting them from the air fryer by the handle (9).
Place the food in the basket (6).
Insert the pan (7) and basket (6) into the air fryer.
Insert the mains plug into a socket that is always easily accessible.
Set the thermostat (1) to the desired temperature.
Set the timer (4) to the desired time.

Bei den angegebenen Zeiten handelt es sich nur um Anhaltspunkte. Diese können abhängig von
der Beschaffenheit der Zutaten und Ihren persönlichen Vorlieben länger oder kürzer ausfallen.
1 Um ein gleichmäßiges Garergebnis zu erhalten, empfehlen wir 400g Pommes frites ca. 16 bis
18 Minuten ohne vorheizen zu garen, bis der gewünschte Bräunungsgrad erreicht ist. Die
Pommes frites sollten nach 2/3 der Garzeit geschüttelt werden. Achten Sie beim Schütteln
darauf, dass die Pommes frites gut durchmischt werden und dabei die inneren, ungaren Pommes
frites nach außen gelangen. Ziehen Sie dazu die Pfanne (7) inkl. Korb (6) am Griff (9) aus der
Heißluftfritteuse und schütteln Sie die Zutaten. Die Heißluftfritteuse schaltet beim Herausnehmen
der Pfanne (7) inkl. Korb (6) automatisch ab. Sobald die Pfanne (7) inkl. Korb (6) wieder
ordnungsgemäß eingesetzt wurde, schaltet die Heißluftfritteuse bis zum Ablaufen des Timers (4)
automatisch wieder ein.
2 Diese Zutaten sollten nach der Hälfte der Garzeit geschüttelt werden, um ein gleichmäßiges
Garergebnis zu erhalten. Ziehen Sie dazu die Pfanne (7) inkl. Korb (6) am Griff (9) aus der
Heißluftfritteuse und schütteln Sie die Zutaten. Die Heißluftfritteuse schaltet beim Herausnehmen
der Pfanne (7) inkl. Korb (6) automatisch ab. Sobald die Pfanne (7) inkl. Korb (6) wieder
ordnungsgemäß eingesetzt wurde, schaltet die Heißluftfritteuse bis zum Ablaufen des Timers (4)
automatisch wieder ein.
3 Diese Zutaten sollten bei der Zubereitung in einer Schüssel in einem ½ Esslöffel Öl gewälzt
werden. Geben Sie das Öl auf keinen Fall direkt in die Pfanne (7) bzw. den Korb (6)!
4 Geben Sie den Teig auf keinen Fall direkt in die Pfanne (7) bzw. den Korb (6)! Geben Sie den
Teig nur in einen geeigneten, wärmebeständigen Behälter oder in eine geeignete Backform.
Stellen Sie den Behälter bzw. die Backform in den Korb (6). Eine geeignete Backform (rund, max.
Durchmesser 17 cm und max. 8,5 cm hoch) können Sie ganz einfach im Internet oder
Haushaltswaren-Fachmarkt erwerben.
Die Garzeit verlängert sich bei einer kalten Heißluftfritteuse um ca. 2-3 Minuten.

Heißluftfritteuse beschädigt wurde, Flüssigkeit oder
Gegenstände ins Innere des Gehäuses gelangt sind, die
Heißluftfritteuse Regen oder Feuchtigkeit ausgesetzt wurde
