ing or transportation, contact the Service Hotline (see section Warranty and

Disposal of packaging

The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The packaging materials

have been selected in accordance with their environmental friendliness and disposal

attributes, and are therefore recyclable.

Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw materials and reduces

the amount of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging material that is no longer

needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.

If possible, keep the appliance's original packaging during the warranty period so that

the appliance can be packed properly for returning in the event of a warranty claim.

Safety instructions

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK

► To avoid risks, arrange for defective plugs and/or power cables to be

replaced at once by qualiﬁ ed technicians or our Customer Service Depart-

ment.

► Never hold the appliance, power cable or power plug with wet hands.

There is the risk of receiving an electric shock.

► Do not fold or crush the power cable.

► To disconnect, always remove the power plug itself from the mains power

socket, do not pull on the power cable.

► The appliance must only be connected to a correctly installed and easily

accessible mains power socket. Ensure that the rating of the local power

supply corresponds with the details on the rating plate of the appliance.

► Do not use the appliance in the close vicinity of a bathtub/shower or a

sink ﬁ lled with water. The proximity of moisture presents a danger even

when the appliance is switched oﬀ .

► The appliance is suitable for use only in dry areas.

NEVER submerse the appliance in water or other liquids.

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!

► This appliance may be used by children aged 8 or over and by persons

with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience

and knowledge, provided that they are under supervision or have been

told how to use of the appliance safely and are aware of the potential risks.

► Children younger than 8 years of age must be kept away from the appli-

ance and the power cable.

► Children must not play with the appliance.

► Cleaning and user maintenance tasks must not be carried out by children

unless they are supervised.

► After use, allow the appliance to cool down before transporting it.

► Route the power cable in such a way that no one can tread on or trip over

it.

► Never touch the cooking plates during use as these become very hot.

► Do not use extension cables. The plug must be quickly accessible in an

emergency.

► Do not use an external timing switch or a separate remote control system to

operate the appliance.

CAUTION - RISK OF FIRE!

► Never leave the appliance unattended while it is being used.

► When the appliance is in use ensure that there are no easily inﬂ ammable

materials close to it (e.g. dishcloths, oven cloths etc.).

► If you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended period, you must

disconnect it from the power source. The appliance is only completely with-

out current when the power plug has been pulled out of the socket.

Setting up and connecting

1) Place the appliance on a stable, level and heat-resistant surface.

2) Insert the plug into a mains power socket.

3) Switch the appliance on by switching the On/Oﬀ switch 3 to the position "I".

4) Switch both cooking plates 1/2 to MAX and allow these to heat up for around

3 minutes without a saucepan.

This can cause slight smoke development since the protective coating which has

been applied will burn in. Ensure there is suﬃ cient ventilation. For example, open

a window.

Operation

NOTE

► Use cooking utensils with ﬂ at, even bases for better thermal transfer.

► If possible, use cooking utensils which match the cooking plate sizes.

1) Place the ﬁ lled saucepan on the required cooking plate 1/2.

2) Switch the appliance on by sliding the On/Oﬀ switch 3 to the position "I".

3) Turn the relevant thermostat 4/7 to the required setting:

▯ 0 - 4: slow cooking

▯ 4 - MAX: fast cooking

4) Once the cooking process has ﬁ nished, adjust thermostat 4/7 back to MIN.

The indicator lamp 5/6 goes out.

5) Turn the On/Oﬀ switch 3 to "O".

If you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended period, remove the plug from

the power socket.

Cleaning and care

Never submerse the appliance in water or other liquids.

Do not use abrasive, chemical or caustic cleaning agents to clean this appliance!

These can damage the appliance.

■ Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth. For stubborn soiling use a mild detergent

on the cloth.

Ensure that you remove all detergent residues with a moist cloth afterwards.

■ Please wait until the appliance is completely dry before using it again.

Storage

■ Store the appliance in a dry and dust-free place.

Disposal

Never dispose of the appliance in the normal domestic waste.

This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive

2012/19/EU (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your community

waste facility. Please observe the currently applicable regulations. Please contact your

waste disposal centre should you be in any doubt.

Warranty and Service

The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years from the date of purchase. The appliance

has been manufactured with care and meticulously examined before delivery.

Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the case of a warranty claim, please

make contact by telephone with our Customer Service Department. Only in this way

can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured.

NOTICE

► The warranty covers only claims for material and manufacturing defects, but not

for transport damage, wearing parts or for damage to fragile components, e.g.

buttons or batteries.

This product is for domestic use only and is not intended for commercial use. The war-

ranty is void in the case of abusive and improper handling, use of force and internal

tampering not carried out by our authorised service branch.

Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty. The warranty period is not

extended by repairs made under the warranty. This applies also to replaced and repaired parts.

Damages and defects extant at the time of purchase must be reported immediately

after unpacking, resp. no later than two days after the date of purchase.

Repairs made after the lapse of the warranty period are subject to charge.

Éliminer l'emballage

L'emballage protège l'appareil de tous dommages éventuels au cours du transport.

Les matériaux d'emballage ont été sélectionnés selon des critères de respect de l'envi-

ronnement et de recyclage permettant une élimination écologique de ceux-ci.

Le recyclage de l'emballage en ﬁ lière de revalorisation permet d'économiser des

matières premières et de réduire le volume de déchets. Veuillez éliminer les matériaux

d'emballage superﬂ us selon la réglementation locale.

Consignes de sécurité

RISQUE D'ÉLECTROCUTION

► Faites remplacer immédiatement les ﬁ ches secteur ou les cordons d'alimenta-

tion endommagés par des techniciens spécialisés agréés ou par le service

clientèle, pour éviter tout risque.

► Ne jamais saisir l’appareil, le cordon ou la ﬁ che avec des mains humides.

Risque d'électrocution.

► Ne pas tordre ni plier ni écraser le câble.

► Pour débrancher la ﬁ che, prenez soin de toujours tirer sur la ﬁ che elle-même

et pas sur le cordon d'alimentation.

► Raccordez l'appareil uniquement à une prise secteur installée en bonne et

due forme et facilement accessible. La tension secteur doit correspondre

aux indications ﬁ gurant sur la plaque signalétique de l'appareil.

► N'utilisez pas l'appareil à proximité de la baignoire / de la douche ou d'un

lavabo rempli d'eau. La proximité de l'eau représente un danger, même

lorsque l'appareil est éteint.

► L'appareil est uniquement adapté pour l'usage en pièces sèches.

N'immergez jamais l'appareil dans de l'eau ou dans d'autres

liquides.

rience, doivent toujours rester sous la surveillance d'un adulte s'ils utilisent

cet appareil, même si l'usage de l'appareil leur a été expliqué et si elles sont

conscientes des risques qui en découlent.

► Les enfants âgés de moins de 8 ans doivent être tenus hors de portée du

cordon d'alimentation.

► Ne pas laisser les enfants jouer avec l'appareil.

► De même, ne pas laisser un enfant eﬀ ectuer un nettoyage ou une opération

d'entretien sans surveillance.

► Laissez d'abord l'appareil refroidir avant de le transporter.

► Disposer le cordon d'alimentation de telle manière que personne ne puisse

marcher ou trébucher dessus.

► Ne jamais toucher les plaques chauﬀ antes en cours d'utilisation, car elles

peuvent devenir très chaudes.

► Ne pas utiliser de câble de rallonge. En cas d'urgence, la prise secteur doit

être rapidement accessible.

► Ne pas utiliser de minuterie externe ou de dispositif de commande à dis-

tance pour faire fonctionner l'appareil.

ATTENTION - RISQUE D'INCENDIE !

► En cours d'utilisation, ne laissez jamais l'appareil sans surveillance.

► Eviter toute présence de matériau inﬂ ammable à proximité de l'appareil lorsqu'il

est en marche (chiﬀ on, torchon, etc.).

► Si l'appareil doit rester inutilisé pour une longue période, le débrancher de

la prise secteur. L'appareil n'est réellement hors tension que si vous débran-

chez la ﬁ che secteur de la prise.

Installation et mise en service

1) Installez l'appareil sur une surface stable, plane et résistante à la chaleur.

2) Branchez la ﬁ che secteur dans une prise secteur.

3) Allumez l'appareil en amenant le bouton marche/arrêt 3 en position «I».

4) Mettez les deux plaques chauﬀ antes 1/2 sur MAX et laissez chauﬀ er celles-ci

sans casserole pendant env. 3 minutes.

Il peut en résulter une légère fumée, étant donné que la couche de protection

1) Posez la casserole remplie sur la plaque chauﬀ aunt 1/2 désirée.

2) Allumez l'appareil en amenant le commutateur marche/arrêt 3 en position «I».

3) Tournez le thermostat respectif 4/7 sur la position désirée:

maakt deel uit van dit product. Deze bevat belangrijke aanwijzingen voor veiligheid,

gebruik en afvoeren. Maak u vertrouwd met alle bedienings- en veiligheidsaanwij-

zingen voordat u het product in gebruik neemt. Gebruik het product uitsluitend op de

voorgeschreven wijze en voor de aangegeven doeleinden. Geef alle documenten

mee als u het product doorgeeft aan een derde.

of het gebruik van niet-toegestane vervangingsonderdelen.

Gebruik in overeenstemming met bestemming

Dit apparaat dient uitsluitend voor het verhitten van levensmiddelen.

Het apparaat is uitsluitend bestemd voor gebruik in privéhuishoudens. Gebruik het

apparaat niet bedrijfsmatig.

Inhoud van het pakket

Het product wordt standaard met de volgende componenten geleverd:

1) Haal alle onderdelen van het apparaat en de gebruiksaanwijzing uit de doos.

2) Verwijder alle verpakkingsmaterialen, folie en stickers van het apparaat.

3) Reinig alle onderdelen van het apparaat zoals beschreven in het hoofdstuk

“Reiniging en onderhoud”.

OPMERKING

►

Controleer of het pakket compleet is en of er sprake is van zichtbare schade.

► Neem contact op met de Service-Hotline (zie het hoofdstuk Garantie en

service) als het pakket niet compleet is, of indien er sprake is van schade door

gebrekkige verpakking of transport.

De verpakking afvoeren

De verpakking beschermt het product tegen transportschade. De verpakkingsmaterialen

zijn niet schadelijk voor het milieu. Ze zijn gekozen op grond van milieuvriendelijk-

heid en daarom recyclebaar.

Het terugvoeren van de verpakking in de materiaalkringloop betekent een besparing

op grondstoﬀ en en zorgt voor minder afval. Voer niet meer benodigde verpakkings-

materialen af conform de plaatselijk geldende voorschriften.

►

Bewaar, indien mogelijk, de originele verpakking gedurende de garantieperiode

van het apparaat, om het apparaat bij een garantiekwestie volgens de voorschrif-

ten te kunnen verpakken.

Veiligheidsvoorschriften

GEVAAR VOOR ELEKTRISCHE SCHOK

► Laat beschadigde stekkers en snoeren onmiddellijk

door geautoriseerd en vakkundig personeel of door

de klantenservice vervangen, om risico's te vermijden.

► Pak het apparaat, het netsnoer en de netstekker nooit met natte handen

vast. Er bestaat anders gevaar voor een elektrische schok!

► Knik of plet het netsnoer niet.

► Trek het netsnoer altijd met de stekker uit het stopcontact, trek nooit aan het

snoer zelf.

► Sluit het apparaat uitsluitend aan op een volgens de voorschriften geïnstal-

leerd en goed bereikbaar stopcontact. De netspanning moet overeenstem-

men met de gegevens op het typeplaatje van het apparaat.

► Gebruik het apparaat niet in de buurt van de badkuip / douche of boven

een met water gevulde wasbak.

Nabijheid van water vormt een risico, ook als het apparaat is uitgescha-

keld.

► Het apparaat is alleen geschikt voor gebruik in droge ruimtes.

Dompel het apparaat nooit onder in water of in andere vloeistoﬀ en.

WAARSCHUWING! LETSELGEVAAR!

► Dit apparaat mag worden gebruikt door kinderen vanaf 8 jaar alsmede

door personen met verminderde fysieke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke vermo-

gens of gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, mits ze onder toezicht staan of

over het veilige gebruik van het apparaat zijn geïnstrueerd en de daaruit

resulterende gevaren begrijpen.

► Houd het apparaat en het bijbehorende snoer buiten bereik van kinderen

jonger dan 8 jaar.

► Kinderen mogen niet met het apparaat spelen.

► Kinderen mogen geen reiniging en gebruikersonderhoud zonder toezicht

uitvoeren.

► Laat het apparaat na gebruik eerst afkoelen alvorens het te transporteren.

► Leg het netsnoer zodanig, dat niemand erop kan stappen of erover kan

struikelen.

► Raak de kookplaten nooit aan tijdens het gebruik, omdat ze zeer heet

worden.

► U mag geen verlengsnoer gebruiken. Het stopcontact moet in geval van

nood snel te bereiken zijn.

► Gebruik geen externe tijdschakelklok of een separaat systeem voor af-

standsbediening om het apparaat te bedienen.

LET OP - BRANDGEVAAR!

► Laat het apparaat nooit zonder toezicht als het in werking is.

► Tijdens het bedrijf mogen zich geen licht brandbare materialen in de onmid-

dellijke omgeving van het apparaat bevinden (bijv. vaatdoeken, ovenwanten,

enz.).

► Wanneer u het apparaat langere tijd niet gebruikt, moet u het loskoppelen

van het lichtnet. Alleen wanneer u de stekker uit het stopcontact haalt, is het

apparaat volledig stroomvrij.

Opstellen en in gebruik nemen

1) Plaats het apparaat op een ondergrond die stabiel, egaal en hittebestendig is.

2) Steek de netstekker in een stopcontact.

3) Schakel het apparaat in door de aan-/uitknop 3 op de stand “I” te zetten.

4) Stel beide kookplaten 1/2 in op MAX en laat ze ca. 3 minuten zonder pan

heet worden.

Hierbij kan er een lichte rookontwikkeling ontstaan door inbranden van de aan-

gebrachte beschermingslaag. Zorg voor voldoende ventilatie. Open bijvoorbeeld

een raam.

Bedienen

OPMERKING

► Gebruik kookgerei met een platte, rechte bodem voor een betere warmtegeleiding.

► Gebruik indien mogelijk bij de grootte van de kookplaat passend kookgerei.

1) Plaats de gevulde pan op de gewenste kookplaat 1/2.

2) Schakel het apparaat in door de aan-/uitknop 3 op de stand “I” te zetten.

3) Draai de thermostaat 4/7 naar de gewenste instelling:

▯ 0 - 4: langzaam koken

▯ 4 - MAX: snel koken

4) Wanneer de bereiding klaar is, zet u de thermostaat 4/7 weer op MIN.

Het indicatielampje 5/6 gaat uit.

5) Zet de aan/uit-knop 3 op “O”.

Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact als u het apparaat gedurende langere tijd niet gebruikt.

Reiniging en onderhoud

Haal voor het schoonmaken altijd eerst de stekker uit het stopcontact.

Dompel het apparaat nooit onder in water of in andere vloeistoﬀ en.

► Laat het apparaat afkoelen voordat u het schoonmaakt!

LET OP - MATERIËLE SCHADE!

Gebruik geen agressieve, chemische of bijtende schoonmaakmiddelen om het

apparaat te reinigen. Deze kunnen het apparaat beschadigen.

■ Veeg het apparaat af met een vochtige doek. Bij hardnekkig vuil doet u een mild

afwasmiddel op de doek. Vergeet niet om vervolgens alle afwasmiddelresten met

een vochtige doek te verwijderen.

■ Gebruik het apparaat pas opnieuw nadat het volledig is opgedroogd.

■ Berg het apparaat op een droge en stofvrije plaats op.

niging. Neem de momenteel geldende voorschriften in acht. Neem bij twijfel contact

op met de verantwoordelijke instantie.

Garantie en service

U heeft op dit apparaat 3 jaar garantie vanaf de aankoopdatum. Het apparaat is

met de grootst mogelijke zorg vervaardigd en voorafgaand aan de levering nauw-

keurig gecontroleerd.

Bewaar a.u.b. de kassabon als aankoopbewijs. Mocht u aanspraak willen maken op

de garantie, neem dan telefonisch contact op met uw serviceadres. Alleen op die

manier is een kostenloze verzending van uw product gegarandeerd.

OPMERKING

De garantie geldt uitsluitend voor materiaal- of fabricagefouten, niet voor

transportschade, aan slijtage onderhevige delen of voor beschadigingen van

breekbare onderdelen, bijv. schakelaars of accu‘s.

Het product is uitsluitend bestemd voor privé-gebruik en niet voor bedrijfsmatige doel-

einden. Bij verkeerd gebruik en ondeskundige behandeling, bij gebruik van geweld en bij

reparaties die niet door ons geautoriseerd serviceﬁ liaal zijn uitgevoerd, vervalt de garantie.

Uw wettelijke rechten worden door deze garantie niet ingeperkt. De garantieperiode

wordt niet verlengd door de aansprakelijkheid. Dit geldt eveneens voorvervangen en

gerepareerde onderdelen.

Eventuele schaden en gebreken die reeds bij de koop aanwezig zijn moeten direct

na het uitpakken worden gemeld, uiterlijk echter twee dagen na datum

van aankoop.

Na aﬂ oop van de garantieperiode worden alle reparaties die optreden in rekening gebracht.

Dieses Gerät dient ausschließlich dem Erhitzen von Lebensmitteln.

Das Gerät ist ausschließlich für die Benutzung in privaten Haushalten bestimmt. Benut-

zen Sie das Gerät nicht gewerblich.

Lieferumfang

Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten geliefert:

1) Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes und die Bedienungsanleitung aus dem

Karton.

2) Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial, sowie Folien und Aufkleber.

3) Reinigen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes wie im Kapitel „Reinigung und Pﬂ ege“

beschrieben.

Entsorgung der Verpackung

Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungs-

materialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten

ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.

Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoﬀ e und verringert

das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien

gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.

Sicherheitshinweise

STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR

► Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder Netzkabel sofort von autorisier-

tem Fachpersonal oder dem Kunden-service austauschen, um Gefährdun-

gen zu vermeiden.

► Fassen Sie Gerät, Netzkabel und -stecker nie mit nassen Händen an. Es

besteht sonst die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlags.

► Knicken oder quetschen Sie das Netzkabel nicht.

► Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel stets am Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, ziehen

Sie nicht am Kabel selbst.

► Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschrifts mäßig installierte und gut

erreichbare Netzsteckdose an. Die Netzspannung muss mit den Angaben

auf dem Typenschild des Gerätes übereinstimmen.

► Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe der Badewanne / Dusche oder

über einem mit Wasser gefüllten Waschbecken. Nähe von Wasser stellt

eine Gefahr dar, auch wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist.

► Das Gerät ist nur für die Verwendung in trockenen Räumen geeignet.

Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten.

Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt

oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden

und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstehen.

► Kinder jünger als 8 Jahre sind von Gerät und der Anschlussleitung fernzu-

halten.

► Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.

► Reinigung und Benutzerwartung dürfen nicht von Kindern ohne Beaufsichti-

gung durchgeführt werden.

► Lassen Sie das Gerät nach Gebrauch erst abkühlen, bevor Sie es transpor-

tieren.

► Verlegen Sie das Netzkabel so, dass niemand darauf treten oder darüber

stolpern kann.

► Berühren Sie niemals die Kochplatten während der Benutzung, da diese

sehr heiß werden.

► Sie dürfen keine Verlängerungskabel verwenden. Die Netzsteckdose muss

im Notfall schnell zu erreichen sein.

► Benutzen Sie keine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder ein separates Fernwirksys-

tem, um das Gerät zu betreiben.

ACHTUNG - BRANDGEFAHR!

► Lassen Sie das Gerät während des Betriebs niemals unbeaufsichtigt.

► Es dürfen sich während des Betriebs keine leicht brennbaren Materialien in

unmittelbarer Umgebung des Gerätes beﬁ nden (z. B. Geschirrhandtuch,

Topﬂ appen etc.).

► Wenn Sie das Gerät über einen längeren Zeitraum nicht nutzen, müssen

Sie es vom Stromnetz trennen. Nur wenn Sie den Netzstecker aus der

Netzsteckdose ziehen, ist das Gerät vollständig stromfrei.

Aufstellen und Inbetriebnahme

1) Stellen sie das Gerät auf eine stabile, ebene und hitzebeständige Oberﬂ äche.

2) Verbinden Sie den Netzstecker mit einer Netzsteckdose.

3) Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie den Ein-/Aus-Schalter 3 in die Stellung

„I“ bringen.

4) Stellen Sie beide Kochplatten 1/2 auf MAX und lassen Sie diese ca. 3 Minu-

ten ohne Topf aufheizen.

Hierbei kann es zu leichter Rauchentwicklung kommen, da die aufgetragene

Schutzschicht einbrennt. Sorgen Sie für ausreichende Belüftung. Öﬀ nen Sie zum

Beispiel ein Fenster.

Bedienen

HINWEIS

►

Verwenden Sie Kochgeschirr mit ﬂ achen, geraden Böden zur besseren Wärmeleitung.

► Benutzen Sie möglichst zur Größe der Kochplatte passendes Kochgeschirr.

1) Stellen Sie den gefüllten Topf auf die gewünschte Kochplatte 1/2.

2) Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie den Ein-/Aus-Schalter 3 in die Stellung

„I“ bringen.

3) Drehen Sie das jeweilige Thermostat 4/7 auf die gewünschte Einstellung:

▯ 0 - 4: langsam kochen

▯ 4 - MAX: schnell kochen

leuchtet.

4) Wenn der Kochvorgang beendet ist, stellen Sie das Thermostat 4/7 wieder auf

MIN. Die Kontrollleuchte 5/6 erlischt.

5) Stellen Sie den Ein-/Aus-Schalter 3 auf „O“.

Wenn Sie die das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzen, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus

der Netzsteckdose.

Reinigung und Pﬂ ege

Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.

Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten.

► Lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen, bevor Sie es reinigen!

ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN!

Benutzen Sie keine aggressiven, chemischen oder scheuernden Putzmittel um das

Gerät zu reinigen! Diese können das Gerät beschädigen.

■ Wischen Sie das Gerät mit einem feuchten Tuch ab. Bei hartnäckigeren Ver-

schmutzungen geben Sie ein mildes Spülmittel auf das Tuch.

Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie anschließend alle Spülmittelreste mit einem feuchten

Tuch entfernen.

■ Warten Sie mit der erneuten Benutzung, bis das Gerät wieder vollkommen

getrocknet ist.

Aufbewahren

■ Bewahren Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen und staubfreien Ort auf.

Transportschäden, Verschleißteile oder für Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen
