If the tap water in your location is rated as hard,
it is recommended that you mix the tap water
with some distilled water. Otherwise limescale
deposits can adversely affect the product's
functions.
Mix the tap water with distilled water:
Water
hardness
Ratio of distilled

Very soft/soft –
Medium 1:1
Hard 2:1
Very hard 3:1
NOTE: Check the hardness of your household's
water with your local water supplier.
Do not add water with any additives (such as
starch, perfume, softeners or other chemicals)
to the water tank

the product as residues can form in the steam
chamber. The residues could contaminate the
clothing if they come out of the steam outlets.
Fill the water tank

filling aperture

. Observe the MIN/MAX
markings on the water tank:
Marking Water fill level
MIN Minimal water fill level
(approx. 220 ml)
MAX Maximum water fill level
(approx. 1800 ml)
Push the water tank

back into the base station

until it locks into place.
Setting the temperature
Turn the temperature control 4 from the
min position to the desired temperature level.

Before steam smoothing: Check the clothes'
ironing instructions to determine if they are
suitable for use with this product
For clothes with the following ironing instructions:
Do not iron
The temperature control 4 is divided into
3 ranges. These are rough recommendations for
different types of fabrics:

Low temperature
For synthetic fabrics (e.g. nylon)
Average temperature
For sensitive fabrics (e.g. silk or wool)
High temperature
For coarse fabrics (e.g. cotton or linen).

Unlock the steam iron
Push the lock switch

Turn the temperature control 4 to the
min position.
Connect the power plug
