■ Only operate the hands-free set on those occasions in

which the traﬃc situation permits it and in which you will

not endanger, injure, obstruct or cause annoyance to

other road users. Therefore you should only operate the

hands-free set in a stationary vehicle.

■ Do not allow yourself to be distracted from the traﬃc

situation by operating the hands-free set or reading its

display. Before starting your journey, familiarise yourself

with how to use the device and practice how to use it

safely.

ideally on the sun visor.

Notes on the radio interface

■ Keep the device at least 20 cm away from a pacemaker

or implanted deﬁbrillator, as the proper functioning of the

pacemaker or the implanted deﬁbrillator could be aﬀect-

ed by radio waves.

■ The transmitted radio waves can cause noise interference

in hearing aids.

■ Do not use the device with the radio components

switched on in the presence of ﬂammable gases or in a

potentially explosive atmosphere (e.g. in a paint shop),

as the transmitted radio waves can cause an explosion

or ignite a ﬁre.

■ The range of the radio waves is dependent on the envi-

ronment and the ambient conditions.

■ Data transmissions via a wireless connection can be

intercepted by unauthorised third parties.
