6. Operation
CAUTION:
~
Users could possibly experience mild bleeding of the gums dur-
ing the first days of electric toothbrush usage. Should the bleed-
ing continue over several days, a dentist should be consulted.
~ Exert only light pressure when brushing to prevent damage to
the gums and to increase the service life of the bristles.
1. Moisten the bristles, squeeze some toothpaste on and switch
on the toothbrush only when the brush head
3 is already in
your mouth.
2. Press the on switch (I)
2, to switch on the toothbrush.
3. Slowly guide the brush head
3 from tooth to tooth without ex-
erting too much pressure. Carefully clean all tooth surfaces,
the inner surfaces of the teeth and the tooth edges. The rec-
ommended brushing duration is at least 2 minutes. This is ap-
proximately the duration of the hourglass

4. Press the off switch
1 to switch off the toothbrush. Remove the
brush head
3 only when the toothbrush has been switched
off.
NOTES:
• We recommend that you replace the toothbrush head
4 every
3 months or after infections.
• Replacement toothbrush heads
4 can be ordered:

- through the service centre hotline which is listed in Chapter
"Warranty of HOYER Handel GmbH" on page 46.
