Pixelfoutklassen
Pixels zijn de puntjes waaruit het beeld op het scherm is opgebouwd. Eén pixel bestaat
altijd uit drie subpixels voor de basiskleuren (rood, groen en blauw).
De pixelfoutklassen gaan van niveau I (zeer goed) tot niveau IV (slechte kwaliteit). De
LT 3240 valt in foutklasse II en beschikt dus over een kwalitatief hoogwaardige scherm.
In de foutklassen mogen een beperkt aantal pixels fouten bevatten. Er zijn drie soorten
fouten:
Type 1: De pixel brandt altijd (een heldere, witte punt), zelfs als deze niet moet branden.
Type 2: De pixel brandt niet (donkere of zwarte punt), zelfs als deze wel moet branden.
Type 3: Abnormale of defecte subpixels met de basiskleuren (dat wil zeggen: de pixel
brandt op halve sterkte, knippert of flikkert of een bepaalde kleur brandt niet; dit
valt niet onder Type 1 of Type 2).
Bovendien mag een zogeheten cluster (een raster van 5x5 pixels) een beperkt aantal
foutieve pixels bevatten.
Voor foutklasse II mogen er voor elke miljoen pixels slechts twee pixels fouten van Type
1, Type 2 en Cluster bevatten en mogen er maximaal vijf foutieve pixels van Type 3 zijn
(zie de volgende tabel).

Uitgaande van de aanbevolen resolutie van de LT 3240 (1366 x 768) bevat deze
1.049.088 pixels. Uit deze waarde kan het maximumaantal foutieve pixels worden
afgeleid (zie de volgende tabel).

    We have a Silvercrest TV type LT-3249. Our service provider stops sending analogus tv signals, in stead they will send digita signals. Is it possible for my device to work with digital signals.
