• Dek de ventilatieopeningen nooit af.

• Voorkom extra warmte-ontwikkeling,

bijvoorbeeld door rechtstreeks zon-

licht, verwarmingen, andere appara-

tuur, e.d.

• Laat kinderen en verstandelijk gehan-

dicapten niet zonder toezicht met het

toestel omgaan, omdat zij eventuele

gevaren niet altijd juist kunnen in-

schatten.

ƽ Elektromagnetische velden

Dit toestel blijft zelfs binnen de behuizing

onder de wettelijke grenswaarden voor

elektromagnetische straling! Mocht u

toch nog bedenkingen hebben wat be-

treft het plaatsen in de slaapkamer:

• Als u het toestel ongeveer een halve

meter van het bed plaatst, loopt u

geen enkel risico. Vanaf deze afstand

zijn de velden zelfs niet meer aanwezig

voor mensen die gevoelig zijn voor

elektromagnetische straling.

 Opmerking: controleer de batterij

van de analoge klok jaarlijks en ver-

vang deze eventueel.

 Dit apparaat is voorzien van rubbe-

ren antislipnoppen. Aangezien opper-

vlakken uit uiteenlopende materia-

len kunnen bestaan en met de meest

uiteenlopende onderhoudsmiddelen

worden behandeld, kan niet volledig

worden uitgesloten dat veel van deze

stoffen bestanddelen bevatten die

de rubbernoppen aantasten en week

maken. Leg eventueel een antislip-

matje onder de pootjes van het appa-

raat.

Voordat u het toestel in gebruik neemt,

controleer of het compleet en zonder

gebreken is. Anders mag het niet wor-

den gebruikt.

 Opmerking: de radiofunctie is niet

mogelijk met batterij.

➪ Open het batterijvak ቨ en plaats een

1,5V batterij type Mignon

(R6/LR6/AA).

➪ Steek daarna de stekker in het stop-

contact. Kies een stopcontact dat te

allen tijde toegankelijk is, zodat u in

geval van een storing snel de stekker

uit het stopcontact kunt trekken.

 Opmerking: er kunnen geen accu's

via de batterijaansluiting worden

opgeladen.
