8.4. Starting/stopping the cutting process
Connect the appliance to a properly installed mains socket. The mains voltage must
match the technical data for the appliance.
Before cutting or grating, ensure that
−the correct cutting attachment has been inserted
−the funnel attachment has been mounted and locked into position
−the collection container has been inserted and locked into position.
To cut the vegetable, switch on the
appliance using the 2 switch (switch
position: I).
To stop the cutting process, switch the
appliance off using the switch (switch
position: O).
9. Which foods are suitable?
Firm vegetables such as:
• Carrots
• Courgette
• Potatoes
• Cucumber
• Squash
• Radish
• Cabbage
Cut the vegetables into a size that fits into the feed chute (edge length: approx. 4.0 x
5.5 cm).
Ensure that the vegetable pieces to be processed are thicker than 2.5 cm,
since more thinly sliced foods can slip through the holes in the cutting
attachment and break.
