operating instructions are a component of this product. They contain important

information in regard to safety, use and disposal. Before using the product,

familiarise yourself with all of these operating and safety instructions. Use this

appliance only as described and only for the purposes indicated. In addition,

pass these documents on, together with the product, to any future owner.

1) Remove the appliance and the operating instructions from the carton.

2) Remove all packing material.

NOTICE

► Check the contents to ensure everything is present and for visible damage.

► If the delivery is not complete or has been damaged due to defective

packaging or transportation, contact the Service Hotline (see section

Service).

Disposal of the packaging

The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The packaging

materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness

and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable.

The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit saves on raw material and

reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging material that is

no longer needed as per the regionally established regulations.

NOTICE

► If possible preserve the appliance's original packaging during the warranty

period so that, in the event of a warranty claim, you can pack the appliance

ideally for its return.

Note the labelling on the packaging and separate the packaging material

components for disposal if necessary. The packaging material is labelled with

abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with the following meanings:

1–7: Plastics,

20–22: Paper and cardboard,

80–98: Composites.

Safety instructions

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK

► If the mains cable of this appliance is damaged, it must

be replaced by the manufacturer, their customer service

department or a similarly qualiﬁed person in order to

avoid potential risks.

► Use the appliance only in dry indoor areas, not outdoors.

NEVER submerse the appliance in water or other

liquids! If you do, then you could receive a potentially

fatal electric shock.

► NEVER insert cutlery items or other metallic objects into the

toaster slots.

► Ensure that the appliance can never come into contact with

water. NEVER use the appliance adjacent to water or close

to vessels containing liquids.

► Ensure that the power cable never gets wet or moist when

the appliance is in use. Lay the cable such that it cannot be

clamped or otherwise damaged.

► After use, always remove the plug from the mains power

socket, this prevents the unintentional switching on of the

appliance.

► The appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years

and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or

mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if

they have been given supervision or instruction concerning

use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the

hazards involved.

► Children should not play with the appliance.

► Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by

children, unless they are older than 8 years of age and are

supervised. Children younger than 8 years of age are to be

kept away from the appliance and the power cable.

► The appliance can become hot when it is in use. Therefore,

only touch the operating elements.

► Use the appliance only on a stable, non-slippery and level

surface.

► Do not use an external timing switch or a separate remote

control system to operate the appliance.

► Unwind the power cable completely from the cable winder

before using the appliance.

► Risk of burning if you do not use standard toast bread!

Because of the smaller size or shape, there is a risk of

touching hot parts when removing the toasted bread.

CAUTION! RISK OF FIRE!

► Bakery products can burn! You should therefore NEVER locate

the appliance close to or underneath inﬂammable objects,

especially not under curtains or suspended cupboards.

► This appliance may not be used in close vicinity to ﬂammable

material.

► NEVER cover the toaster when it is in use.

Tips for use

■ Avoid using slices that are too big or too thick, as these can easily become

jammed in the appliance. Should slices of bread become jammed, ﬁrst

disconnect the plug from the mains power socket. Release jammed slices of

bread with a blunt wooden object (e.g. a wooden spatula or spoon).

Thereby, do NOT touch the heater elements.

■ Diﬀerences in bread sorts, moisture content and the thickness of individual

slices inﬂuence the browning of the toast. Therefore the bread for toasting

should be kept in sealed packaging until required. Always initially try out

a lower level of browning.

■ Use a lower level of browning if you are toasting dry bread, as dry bread

browns faster than fresh bread.

■ Select a higher level of browning for dark bread than for light bread, for

example, wheat bread.

■ The numbers on the toasting dial 6 are not time indications. They serve

only as a guide for the browning.

■ To avoid an overheating of the toaster and to obtain an even browning

of bread, wait for about 15 seconds between two toasting processes.

■ You should only use the highest level on the toasting dial 6 for large slices

of dark bread. With this browning level light bread will scorch and become

inedible. In addition, it may cause the generation of smoke. If this occurs,

press the button “Stop” 5 immediately and disconnect the power cable

from the mains power socket.

Setting up

CAUTION! RISK OF FIRE

► You should therefore NEVER locate the appliance close to or underneath

inﬂammable objects, especially not under curtains or suspended cupboards.

■ Unwind the cable completely from around the cable winder 9 and lead it

through the cable clamp 2.

■ Place the appliance on a level and heat-resistant surface.

■ Insert the plug into a mains power socket.

NOTICE

► When the toaster is not in use, always remove the plug from the mains power

socket. This is the only way to ensure that the appliance is current-free.

Before taking into use

■ Operate the toaster without bread for 3 times at the maximum browning

level “6“.

■ Afterwards, clean the toaster as described in the chapter “Cleaning”.

NOTICE

► The operating button 1 only engages when the cable is connected to a

mains power socket.

► With the ﬁrst usage a slight smell can arise (minimal smoke development is

also possible). This is normal and dissipates after a short time. Provide for

suﬃcient ventilation. For example, open a window.

Operation

Adjusting the browning level

The desired level of browning, from “light” (1) to “dark” (6), can be adjusted

inﬁnitely with the toasting dial 6.

Toasting

CAUTION! RISK OF FIRE!

► Do not cover the toasting slots 8 when the appliance is in operation.

There will be a risk of ﬁre! The appliance could be irreparably damaged!

NOTICE

► If you only want to put one piece of toast into the toaster, turn the toasting

dial 6 down by approx. 1 level to achieve the same level of browning as

with two pieces of toast.

1) After setting the desired browning level, insert the bread into the toaster

slots 8.

2) Press the operating button 1 downwards. The automatic bread centring

device centres the inserted bread in the toaster slots 8. During the toasting

process the control lamp integrated in the “Stop” button 5 glows.

3) When the desired level of browning has been reached the toaster switches

itself oﬀ automatically, the slices are ejected to the top and the control lamp

goes out.

Interrupting the toasting process

If you wish to interrupt the toasting procedure, press the button “Stop” 5.

The toaster switches itself oﬀ and the bread slices are ejected upwards.

Warming function

The warming function enables you to warm bread without browning it. As

an example, for toast that has gone cold. The bread is only brieﬂy warmed.

1) Insert the bread and press the operating button 1 downwards.

2) Press the “Warm up” button 4. The integrated control lamp lights up.

3) When the bread has been reheated, the appliance switches itself oﬀ

automatically and the slices are ejected upwards.

NOTE

► Press the button "Warm up" button 4 again to switch oﬀ the warming

function. The integrated control lamp goes out and the warming process

switches to a normal toasting process.

Defrost function

By pressing the button “Defrosting” 3, also frozen bread can be thawed and

toasted. With this, the toaster slowly warms the bread. Activating the defrost

function will allow the frozen bread to achieve the same browning level as when

you toast fresh bread.

1) After setting the desired browning level, insert the bread into the toaster

slots 8.

2) Press the operating button 1 downwards.

3) Press the button “Defrosting” 3. The integrated control lamp glows.

4) When the defrosting and toasting process is ﬁnished, the toaster switches itself

oﬀ automatically, the control lamp integrated in the button “Defrosting” 3

goes out and the bread slices are ejected to the top.

NOTE

► Press the "Defrost" button 3 again to switch oﬀ the defrost function.

The integrated control lamp goes out and the defrost process switches to

a normal toasting process.

Crisping bread rolls

Never lay bread rolls directly onto the toaster, always use the bread roll rack 7.

1) Fold out the two feet of the bread roll rack 7.

2) Place the bread roll rack 7 onto the appliance so that the feet protrude into

the toasting slots 8 and the bar between the toasting slots 8 ﬁts into the

arched sections on the feet. In this position, the bread roll rack 7 sits on the

appliance stably.

3) Place the bread rolls onto the rack and start the toasting procedure. Turn the

toasting dial 6 up to level 2 , at most. The actual level of browning can

vary depending on the composition and type of bread roll.

NOTE

► After toasting, the rolls will be very hot.

4) As soon as the toaster switches itself oﬀ, turn the rolls over to crisp the other

side and then switch the toaster back on.

5) When you are ﬁnished with the bread roll rack 7, you can fold it for

space-saving storage:

–Wait until the bread roll rack 7 has cooled down.

–Remove it from the appliance.

–Fold the feet of the bread roll rack 7 back in.

Crumb tray

When toasting, crumbs that fall from the bread are collected in the crumb tray 0.

1) To empty crumbs from the crumb tray 0, simply pull it out.

2) Tip out the crumbs.

3) Slide the crumb tray 0 back into the toaster so that it palpably engages.

Cleaning

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK

► Disconnect the plug from the mains power socket before cleaning the

appliance.

NEVER submerse the appliance in water or other liquids! If you do, then

you could receive a potentially fatal electric shock.

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!

► Allow the toaster to cool before cleaning it. Risk of Burns!

CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!

► Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents. These can damage

the upper surfaces of the appliance.

■ Clean the appliance housing only with a dry or lightly moistened cloth.

■ Wipe the bread roll rack 7 oﬀ with a damp cloth.

■ To avoid the risk of ﬁre, empty the crumb tray 0 at regular intervals.

Storage

■ Clean the toaster as described in the chapter “Cleaning”.

■ Wrap the power cable around the cable winder 9 on the underside of the

toaster:

■ Store the toaster in a dry location.

of doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre.

Your local community or municipal authorities can provide information on how

to dispose of the worn-out appliance.

Dear Customer,

This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase. If this

product has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your

statutory rights are not restricted in any way by the warranty described below.

Warranty conditions

The warranty period starts on the date of purchase. Please keep your receipt in a

safe place. This will be required as proof of purchase.

If any material or manufacturing fault occurs within three years of the date of

purchase of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you or

refund the purchase price (at our discretion). This warranty service requires that

you present the defective appliance and the proof of purchase (receipt) within

the three-year warranty period, along with a brief written description of the fault

and of when it occurred.

If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or

replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the

beginning of a new warranty period.

Warranty period and statutory claims for defects

The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs eﬀected under the warranty.

This also applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and

defects present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after

unpacking. Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be

subject to a fee.

Scope of the warranty

This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality

guidelines and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.

The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not

extend to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or to fragile parts which

could be considered as consumable parts such as switches, batteries or parts

made of glass.

The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used

or improperly maintained. The directions in the operating instructions for the

product regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and

actions that are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned

against must be avoided.

This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes.

The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use

of force and modiﬁcations / repairs which have not been carried out by one of

our authorised Service centres.

1) Απομακρύνετε τη συσκευή και τις οδηγίες χειρισμού από το χαρτοκιβώτιο.

2) Αφαιρέστε όλα τα υλικά της συσκευασίας.

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

► Ελέγχετε την παράδοση ως προς την πληρότητα και εμφανείς φθορές.

► Σε μία ελλιπή παράδοση ή σε φθορές από ελλιπή συσκευασία ή από τη

μεταφορά απευθυνθείτε στη γραμμή του σέρβις (βλέπε Κεφάλαιο Σέρβις).

Απόρριψη της συσκευασίας

Η συσκευασία προστατεύει τη συσκευή από φθορές κατά τη μεταφορά. Τα υλικά

συσκευασίας έχουν επιλεγεί σύμφωνα με τους οικολογικούς παράγοντες και τους

παράγοντες της τεχνικής απόρριψης και για το λόγο αυτό είναι ανακυκλώσιμα.

Η επιστροφή της συσκευασίας στον κύκλο ροής υλικών εξοικονομεί πρώτες ύλες

και μειώνει την ποσότητα των απορριμμάτων. Απορρίπτετε τα υλικά συσκευασίας που

δεν χρησιμοποιούνται πλέον σύμφωνα με τις τοπικές ισχύουσες προδιαγραφές.

Υποδείξεις ασφαλείας

ΚΊΝΔΥΝΟΣ ΗΛΕΚΤΡΟΠΛΗΞΊΑΣ

► Προς αποφυγή κινδύνων εάν προκληθεί ζημιά στο

καλώδιο σύνδεσης δικτύου αυτής της συσκευής πρέπει να

αντικατασταθεί από τον κατασκευαστή ή το τμήμα εξυπηρέ-

τησης πελατών του ή από ένα άτομο με παρόμοια εξειδί-

κευση.

► Χρησιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή μόνο σε στεγνούς χώρους, όχι

σε εξωτερικούς χώρους.

Ποτέ μη βυθίζετε τη συσκευή σε νερό ή σε άλλα υγρά!

► Το ψημένο παρασκεύασμα μπορεί να αναφλεγεί! Ποτέ μην

τοποθετείτε τη συσκευή κοντά σε εύφλεκτα υλικά ειδικά όχι

κάτω από κουρτίνες ή ντουλάπια κουζίνας.

► Η συσκευή δεν επιτρέπεται να χρησιμοποιείται κοντά σε

εύφλεκτα υλικά.

► Μην καλύπτετε ποτέ τη φρυγανιέρα όσο βρίσκεται σε

λειτουργία.

Υποδείξεις για τη χρήση

■ Μη χρησιμοποιείτε πολύ μεγάλες ή πολύ χονδρές φέτες, διότι αυτές κολλάνε

εύκολα. Εάν κολλήσουν φέτες ψωμιού, τραβήξτε πρώτα το βύσμα από την

πρίζα. Ξεκολλάτε τις κολλημένες φέτες ψωμιού με μια ξύλινη αμβλεία ράβδο

(π.χ. μια ράβδο πινέλου). Μην αγγίζετε τότε τα θερμαντικά σύρματα.

■ Διαφορές στο είδος ψωμιού, στην υγρασία και στο πάχος των μεμονωμένων

φετών επηρεάζουν το ρόδισμα του ψωμιού τοσταρίσματος. Γι’ αυτό το ψωμί

φρυγανίσματος πρέπει να φυλάσσεται όσο είναι δυνατό σε κλειστή συσκευα-

σία. Δοκιμάζετε πάντα πρώτα έναν χαμηλό βαθμό ροδίσματος.

■ Χρησιμοποιείτε μια χαμηλότερη βαθμίδα ροδίσματος όταν ροδίζετε στεγνό

ψωμί, διότι αυτό ροδίζει γρηγορότερα από ότι το φρέσκο ψωμί.

■ Επιλέξτε για σκούρο ψωμί έναν υψηλότερο βαθμό ροδίσματος από ότι για

τα ανοιχτόχρωμα ψωμιά, για παράδειγμα για το λευκό ψωμί.

■ Τα ψηφία του ρυθμιστή ροδίσματος 6 δεν αποτελούν στοιχεία για το χρόνο.

Χρησιμεύουν αποκλειστικά ως ένδειξη για το βαθμό ροδίσματος.

■ Για να αποφύγετε μια υπερθέρμανση της τοστιέρας και για να έχετε ένα

ομοιόμορφο ρόδισμα του ψωμιού, περιμένετε μεταξύ των δύο διαδικασιών

τοσταρίσματος για περ. 15 δευτερόλεπτα.

■ Η ανώτερη βαθμίδα στο ρυθμιστή ροδίσματος 6 πρέπει να χρησιμοποιείται

μόνο για μεγάλες φέτες σκουρόχρωμου ψωμιού. Το ανοιχτόχρωμο ψωμί θα

καεί με αυτή τη βαθμίδα ροδίσματος και δε θα τρώγεται. Εκτός αυτού μπορεί

να δημιουργηθεί και καπνός. Πιέστε σε αυτή την περίπτωση αμέσως το πλή-

κτρο «Στοπ» 5 και τραβήξτε το βύσμα από την πρίζα δικτύου.

Τοποθέτηση

ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ! ΚΙΝΔΥΝΟΣ ΠΥΡΚΑΓΙΑΣ!

► Ποτέ μην τοποθετείτε τη συσκευή κοντά σε εύφλεκτα υλικά ειδικά όχι κάτω

από κουρτίνες ή ντουλάπια κουζίνας.

■ Ξετυλίξτε το καλώδιο εντελώς από την τύλιξη καλωδίου 9 και οδηγήστε το

μέσα από τη σύσφιξη καλωδίου 2.

■ Τοποθετήστε τη συσκευή επάνω σε μία επίπεδη και θερμανθεκτική επιφάνεια.

■ Βάλτε το βύσμα σε μια πρίζα.

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

► Όταν θέτετε εκτός λειτουργίας τη φρυγανιέρα, αποσυνδέετε πάντα το βύσμα

από την πρίζα. Μόνο έτσι η συσκευή δεν φέρει ρεύμα.

Πριν από την πρώτη θέση σε λειτουργία

■ Λειτουργήστε τη φρυγανιέρα 3 φορές χωρίς τοστ στη μέγιστη ρύθμιση

βαθμού ροδίσματος «6».

■ Καθαρίστε στη συνέχεια τη φρυγανιέρα όπως περιγράφεται στο κεφάλαιο

«Καθαρισμός».

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

► Το πλήκτρο χειρισμού 1 ασφαλίζει μόνο με συνδεδεμένο καλώδιο δικτύου.

► Κατά την πρώτη χρήση μπορεί να προκύψει μία ελαφριά οσμή (πιθανή και

ανάπτυξη ελαφριού καπνού). Αυτή είναι συνηθισμένη και χάνεται μετά από

μικρό χρονικό διάστημα. Παρακαλούμε φροντίστε για επαρκή αερισμό.

Ανοίξτε για παράδειγμα ένα παράθυρο.

Χειρισμός

Ρύθμιση βαθμού ροδίσματος

Ο επιθυμητός βαθμός ροδίσματος από «ανοιχτόχρωμο» (1) έως «σκουρόχρωμο»

(6) μπορεί να ρυθμιστεί αβαθμίδωτα με το ρυθμιστή ροδίσματος 6.

Φρυγάνισμα

ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ! ΚΙΝΔΥΝΟΣ ΠΥΡΚΑΓΙΑΣ!

► Μην καλύπτετε τις υποδοχές ψησίματος 8 κατά τη λειτουργία της φρυγα-

νιέρας. Παρατηρείται κίνδυνος πυρκαγιάς! Η συσκευή μπορεί να υποστεί

ανεπανόρθωτη βλάβη!

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

► Όταν βάζετε στη φρυγανιέρα μόνο μία φέτα τοστ, γυρίστε προς τα πίσω το

ρυθμιστή ροδίσματος 6 κατά περ. 1 βαθμίδα, ώστε να έχετε το ίδιο ρόδι-

σμα όπως και με τις 2 φέτες τοστ.

1) Μετά τη ρύθμιση του επιθυμητού βαθμού ροδίσματος τοποθετήστε το ψωμί

μέσα στην υποδοχή ψησίματος 8.

2) Πιέστε το πλήκτρο χειρισμού 1 προς τα κάτω. Το αυτόματο σύστημα κε-

ντραρίσματος ψωμιού κεντράρει το τοποθετημένο ψωμί μέσα στην υποδοχή

ψησίματος 8. Κατά τη διαδικασία ψησίματος ανάβει η ενσωματωμένη

λυχνία ελέγχου στο πλήκτρο «Στοπ» 5.

3) Εάν έχει επιτευχθεί ο επιθυμητός βαθμός ροδίσματος, η φρυγανιέρα απε-

νεργοποιείται αυτόματα, οι φέτες ψωμιού έρχονται πάλι επάνω και η λυχνία

ελέγχου σβήνει.

Διακοπή διαδικασίας φρυγανίσματος

Εάν θέλετε να διακόψετε το φρυγάνισμα πιέστε το πλήκτρο «Στοπ» 5.

Η φρυγανιέρα απενεργοποιείται και οι φέτες ψωμιού ανεβαίνουν προς τα επάνω.

Λειτουργία ζεστάματος

Η λειτουργία ζεστάματος σας δίνει τη δυνατότητα να ζεστάνετε ψωμί χωρίς να το

ροδίσετε. Για παράδειγμα όταν το ψημένο ψωμί έχει πάλι κρυώσει. Τώρα το ψωμί

ζεσταίνεται για λίγο.

1) Τοποθετήστε το ψωμί και πιέστε το πλήκτρο χειρισμού 1 προς τα κάτω.

2) Πατήστε το πλήκτρο «Ζέσταμα» 4. Ανάβει η ενσωματωμένη λυχνία ελέγχου.

3) Όταν το ψωμί έχει πάλι ζεσταθεί, η συσκευή απενεργοποιείται αυτόματα

και οι φέτες ψωμιού ανεβαίνουν πάλι προς τα επάνω.

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

► Για να απενεργοποιηθεί ξανά η λειτουργία ζεστάματος, πατήστε μία ακόμη

φορά το πλήκτρο «Ζέσταμα» 4. Η ενσωματωμένη λυχνία ελέγχου

σβήνει και η διαδικασία ζεστάματος συνεχίζεται ως κανονική διαδικασία

φρυγανίσματος.

Λειτουργία ξεπαγώματος

Μέσω πίεσης του πλήκτρου «Απόψυξη» 3 μπορεί επίσης να γίνει απόψυξη

και τοστάρισμα κατεψυγμένου ψωμιού τοστ. Εδώ η φρυγανιέρα ζεσταίνει το

ψωμί σιγά. Ενεργοποιώντας τη λειτουργία απόψυξης, το παγωμένο ψωμί τοστ

αποκτά το ίδιο ρόδισμα όπως και κατά το ψήσιμο ενός φρέσκου ψωμιού τοστ.

1) Μετά τη ρύθμιση του επιθυμητού βαθμού ροδίσματος, τοποθετήστε το

ψωμί στην υποδοχή ψησίματος 8.

2) Πιέστε το πλήκτρο χειρισμού 1 προς τα κάτω.

3) Πιέστε το πλήκτρο «Απόψυξη» 3. Ανάβει η ενσωματωμένη λυχνία ελέγχου.

4) Όταν ολοκληρωθεί η διαδικασία απόψυξης και ψησίματος, η φρυγανιέρα

απενεργοποιείται αυτόματα, η ενσωματωμένη λυχνία ελέγχου στο πλήκτρο

«Απόψυξη» 3 σβήνει και οι φέτες ψωμιού ανεβαίνουν πάλι επάνω.

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

► Για να απενεργοποιηθεί ξανά η λειτουργία ξεπαγώματος, πατήστε μία ακό-

μη φορά το πλήκτρο «Απόψυξ» 3. Η ενσωματωμένη λυχνία ελέγχου

σβήνει και η διαδικασία ξεπαγώματος συνεχίζεται ως κανονική διαδικασία

φρυγανίσματος.

Ζέσταμα για τραγανά ψωμάκια

Μην τοποθετείτε ποτέ ψωμάκια απευθείας στη φρυγανιέρα. Χρησιμοποιείτε

πάντα το εξάρτημα για ψωμάκια 7.

1) Ανοίξτε τις δύο βάσεις στήριξης του εξαρτήματος για ψωμάκια 7.

2) Τοποθετήστε το εξάρτημα για ψωμάκια 7 κατά τέτοιον τρόπο στη συσκευή,

ώστε οι βάσεις στήριξης να εφαρμόζουν στις υποδοχές ψησίματος 8 και

το χώρισμα μεταξύ των υποδοχών ψησίματος 8 να εφαρμόζει στις εσοχές

των βάσεων στήριξης. Με αυτόν τον τρόπο, το εξάρτημα για ψωμάκια 7

στηρίζεται με ασφάλεια στη συσκευή.

3) Τοποθετήστε τα ψωμάκια στο εξάρτημα και εκκινήστε τη διαδικασία φρυγανί-

σματος. Περιστρέψτε τον ρυθμιστή ροδίσματος 6 το πολύ στη βαθμίδα 2 .

Βέβαια, ανάλογα με το είδος ψωμιού, το ρόδισμα ενδέχεται να είναι διαφορετικό.

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

► Τα ψωμάκια είναι καυτά μετά τη διαδικασία ψησίματος.

4) Μόλις απενεργοποιηθεί η φρυγανιέρα, γυρίστε το ψωμάκι από την άλλη

πλευρά για να ροδίσει και ενεργοποιήστε ξανά τη φρυγανιέρα.

5) Εάν δεν χρειάζεστε πλέον το εξάρτημα για ψωμάκια 7, μπορείτε να το

αποθηκεύσετε για να εξοικονομήσετε χώρο:

–Περιμένετε μέχρι να κρυώσει το εξάρτημα για ψωμάκια 7.

–Αφαιρέστε από τη συσκευή.

–Ανοίξτε ξανά τις βάσεις στήριξης του εξαρτήματος για ψωμάκια 7.

Συρτάρι για ψίχουλα

Στο φρυγάνισμα μαζεύονται τα πεσμένα ψίχουλα στο συρτάρι για ψίχουλα 0.

1) Για την απομάκρυνση των ψίχουλων τραβήξτε το συρτάρι για ψίχουλα 0

προς τα έξω.

2) Απομακρύνετε τα ψίχουλα.

3) Ωθήστε το συρτάρι για ψίχουλα 0 πάλι στη φρυγανιέρα, έτσι ώστε αυτό να

κουμπώσει αισθητά.

Καθαρισμός

► Βγάλτε πρώτα το βύσμα από την πρίζα πριν καθαρίσετε τη συσκευή.

Ποτέ μη βυθίζετε τη συσκευή σε νερό ή σε άλλα υγρά! Σε άλλη

περίπτωση υπάρχει κίνδυνος ζωής από ηλεκτροπληξία.

► Επιτρέπετε η φρυγανιέρα να κρυώνει πριν από τον καθαρισμό. Κίνδυνος

εγκαύματος!

ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ! ΥΛΙΚΕΣ ΖΗΜΙΕΣ!

► Μη χρησιμοποιείτε αιχμηρά και εκτριπτικά μέσα καθαρισμού.

Αυτά προσβάλλουν την επιφάνεια της συσκευής.

■ Καθαρίζετε το περίβλημα με ένα στεγνό πανί ή με ένα ελαφρώς νωπό πανί.

■ Καθαρίστε το εξάρτημα για ψωμάκια 7 με ένα νωπό πανί.

■ Αδειάζετε σε τακτά χρονικά διαστήματα το συρτάρι για ψίχουλα 0, για να

αποφύγετε κίνδυνο πυρκαγιάς.

Φύλαξη

Απόρριψη

Η παρούσα συσκευή διαθέτει 3 χρόνια εγγύηση από την ημερομηνία αγοράς.

Στην περίπτωση ελλείψεων στο προϊόν έχετε νομικά δικαιώματα έναντι του

πωλητή του προϊόντος. Αυτά τα νομικά δικαιώματα δεν περιορίζονται μέσω της

κατωτέρω αναφερόμενης εγγύησης.

Προϋποθέσεις εγγύησης

Η περίοδος εγγύησης ξεκινά την ημερομηνία αγοράς. Φυλάσσετε την απόδειξη

αγοράς. Απαιτείται ως αποδεικτικό αγοράς.

Εάν, εντός τριών ετών από την ημερομηνία αγοράς, παρατηρηθεί κάποιο σφάλ-

μα υλικού ή κατασκευής στο προϊόν, θα επισκευάσουμε ή θα αντικαταστήσουμε

(κατόπιν κρίσης μας) το προϊόν δωρεάν ή θα σας επιστραφεί το ποσό αγοράς.

Η παρούσα εγγύηση προϋποθέτει ότι η ελαττωματική συσκευή και η απόδειξη

αγοράς θα υποβληθούν μαζί με μια σύντομη περιγραφή αναφορικά με το πού

βρίσκεται η έλλειψη και πότε παρατηρήθηκε, εντός της περιόδου των τριών ετών.

Εάν το ελάττωμα καλύπτεται από την εγγύησή μας, θα λάβετε το επισκευασμένο

ή ένα νέο προϊόν.

Περίοδος εγγύησης και νομικές απαιτήσεις λόγω ελλείψεων

Ο χρόνος εγγύησης δεν παρατείνεται μέσω της παροχής εγγύησης. Αυτό ισχύει

και για εξαρτήματα, τα οποία έχουν αντικατασταθεί και επισκευαστεί. Ενδεχόμε-

νες ήδη υπάρχουσες ζημιές και ελλείψεις κατά την αγορά πρέπει να γνωστοποι-

ούνται αμέσως μετά την αποσυσκευασία. Μετά τη λήξη του χρόνου εγγύησης,

τυχόν εμφανιζόμενες επισκευές χρεώνονται.

Εύρος εγγύησης

Η συσκευή κατασκευάστηκε σύμφωνα με αυστηρές οδηγίες ποιότητας και ελέγ-

χθηκε προσεκτικά πριν από την αποστολή.

Η εγγύηση ισχύει για σφάλματα υλικού ή κατασκευής. Η παρούσα εγγύηση δεν

καλύπτει εξαρτήματα του προϊόντος που υπόκεινται σε φυσιολογική φθορά και,

ως εκ τούτου, θεωρούνται αναλώσιμα εξαρτήματα ή ζημιές σε εύθραυστα εξαρτή-

ματα, π.χ. διακόπτες, συσσωρευτές ή γυάλινα εξαρτήματα.

Η παρούσα εγγύηση ακυρώνεται εάν προκληθεί ζημιά στο προϊόν, εάν δεν

γίνεται σωστή χρήση ή συντήρηση. Για μια σωστή χρήση του προϊόντος πρέπει

να τηρούνται επακριβώς οι αναφερόμενες υποδείξεις στις οδηγίες χειρισμού.

Σκοποί χρήσης και χειρισμοί που δεν συνιστώνται ή για τους οποίους υπάρχει

προειδοποίηση πρέπει απαραίτητα να αποφεύγονται.

Το προϊόν προορίζεται μόνο για ιδιωτική και όχι για επαγγελματική χρήση.

Σε περίπτωση κακής μεταχείρισης και ακατάλληλης χρήσης, χρήσης βίας και

παρεμβάσεων, οι οποίες δεν διεξήχθησαν από το εξουσιοδοτημένο μας τμήμα

σέρβις, η εγγύηση παύει να ισχύει.

Για την εξασφάλιση γρήγορης επεξεργασίας του ζητήματός σας, τηρείτε τις

ακόλουθες υποδείξεις:

■ Για όλες τις ερωτήσεις έχετε έτοιμη την απόδειξη αγοράς και τον κωδικό

προϊόντος (π.χ.ΙΑΝ123456) ως απόδειξη για την αγορά.

■ Για τον κωδικό προϊόντος, ανατρέξτε στην πινακίδα τύπου στο προϊόν, σε

μια ετικέτα στο προϊόν, στο εξώφυλλο των οδηγιών χρήσης (κάτω αριστερά)

ή σε ένα αυτοκόλλητο στην πίσω ή κάτω πλευρά του προϊόντος.

■ Εάν προκύψουν σφάλματα λειτουργίας ή άλλες ελλείψεις, επικοινωνήστε

Lieferumfang

Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten geliefert:

1) Entnehmen Sie das Gerät und die Bedienungsanleitung aus dem Karton.

2) Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial.

HINWEIS

► Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare Schäden.

► Bei einer unvollständigen Lieferung oder Schäden infolge mangelhafter

Verpackung oder durch Transport wenden Sie sich an die Service-Hotline

(siehe Kapitel Service).

Entsorgung der Verpackung

Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungs-

materialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichts-

punkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.

Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoﬀe und

verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungs-

materialien gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.

HINWEIS

► Heben Sie, wenn möglich, die Originalverpackung während der Garantie-

zeit des Gerätes auf, um das Gerät im Garantiefall ordnungsgemäß ver-

packen zu können.

Beachten Sie die Kennzeichnung auf den verschiedenen Verpackungsmaterialien

und trennen Sie diese gegebenenfalls gesondert. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind

STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR!

► Wenn die Netzanschlussleitung dieses Gerätes beschädigt

wird, muss sie durch den Hersteller oder seinen Kunden-

dienst oder eine ähnlich qualiﬁzierte Person ersetzt werden,

um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

► Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur in trockenen Räumen, nicht

im Freien.

Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere

Flüssigkeiten! Andernfalls besteht Lebensgefahr durch

elektrischen Schlag.

► Führen Sie nie Besteckteile oder andere metallische Gegen-

stände in die Röstschächte ein.

► Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät niemals mit Wasser in

Berührung kommen kann. Betreiben Sie das Gerät niemals

► Achten Sie darauf, dass im Betrieb das Netzkabel niemals

► Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie von

lich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unter wiesen wurden

► Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.

► Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder

durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind älter als 8 Jahre

► Die Geräteteile können beim Betrieb heiß werden. Fassen

Sie daher nur die Bedienelemente an.

► Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur auf einer stabilen, rutschfesten

und ebenen Stellﬂäche.

► Benutzen Sie keine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder ein separates

Fernwirksystem, um das Gerät zu betreiben.

► Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel vollständig von der Kabelauf-

wicklung ab, bevor Sie das Gerät benutzen.

► Es besteht Verbrennungsgefahr, wenn Sie kein Standard-

Toastbrot verwenden! Aufgrund der kleineren Größe oder

Form besteht die Gefahr, dass Sie beim Herausnehmen des

getoasteten Brotes heiße Teile berühren.

ACHTUNG! BRANDGEFAHR!

► Röstgut kann sich entzünden! Stellen Sie das Gerät deshalb

niemals in der Nähe oder unter brennbaren Gegenständen

ab, insbesondere nicht unter Gardinen oder Hängeschränken.

► Das Gerät darf nicht in der Nähe von brennbaren Materia-

lien verwendet werden.

► Decken Sie nie den Toaster ab, solange er in Betrieb ist.

Tipps zum Gebrauch

■ Verwenden Sie keine zu großen oder zu dicken Scheiben, da sich diese

leicht verklemmen. Sollten sich Brotscheiben verklemmen, ziehen Sie zuerst

den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose. Lösen Sie verklemmte Brotscheiben

mit einem stumpfen Holzstab (z. B. einem Pinselstiel). Dabei die Heizdrähte

nicht berühren.

■ Unterschiede in der Brotsorte, Feuchte und Dicke der einzelnen Scheiben

beeinﬂussen die Bräunung des Toastbrotes. Daher sollte das Toastbrot mög-

lichst in einer geschlossenen Verpackung aufbewahrt werden. Probieren Sie

immer zunächst einen niedrigeren Bräunungsgrad aus.

■ Verwenden Sie eine niedrigere Bräunungsstufe, wenn Sie trockenes Brot

bräunen, da trockenes Brot schneller bräunt als frisches Brot.

■ Wählen Sie für dunkles Brot einen höheren Bräunungsgrad als für helle

Brote, beispielsweise Weißbrot.

■ Die Ziﬀern des Bräunungsreglers 6 sind keine Zeitangaben. Sie dienen

lediglich als Anhaltspunkt für den Bräunungsgrad.

■ Um eine Überhitzung des Toasters zu vermeiden und eine gleichmäßige

Bräunung des Brotes zu erhalten, warten Sie zwischen zwei Toastvorgängen

ca. 15 Sekunden.

■ Die höchste Stufe am Bräunungsregler 6 sollten Sie nur für große Scheiben

dunklen Brotes verwenden. Helles Brot wird mit dieser Bräunungsstufe an-

brennen und ungenießbar. Außerdem kann es zu Rauchentwicklung kommen.

Drücken Sie in diesem Fall sofort die Taste „Stop“ 5 und ziehen Sie den

Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.

Aufstellen

ACHTUNG! BRANDGEFAHR!

► Stellen Sie das Gerät niemals in der Nähe oder unter brennbare Gegen-

stände, insbesondere nicht unter Gardinen oder Hängeschränke. Es be-

steht Brandgefahr!

■ Wickeln Sie das Kabel vollständig von der Kabelaufwicklung 9 und führen

Sie es durch die Kabelklammer 2.

■ Stellen Sie das Gerät auf einen ebenen und hitzefesten Untergrund.

■ Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose.

HINWEIS

► Wenn Sie den Toaster außer Betrieb nehmen, ziehen Sie immer den Netz-

stecker aus der Netzsteckdose. Nur so ist das Gerät stromfrei.

Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme

■ Betreiben Sie den Toaster dreimal ohne Toast bei maximaler Bräunungsgrad-

Einstellung „6“.

■ Reinigen Sie den Toaster danach wie im Kapitel „Reinigen“ beschrieben.

HINWEIS

► Die Bedientaste 1 rastet nur bei angeschlossenem Netzkabel ein.

► Beim ersten Gebrauch kann ein leichter Geruch entstehen (auch geringe

Rauchentwicklung ist möglich). Dieser ist normal und verliert sich nach

kurzer Zeit. Sorgen Sie bitte für ausreichende Entlüftung. Öﬀnen Sie zum

Beispiel ein Fenster.

Bedienen

Bräunungsgrad einstellen

Der gewünschte Bräunungsgrad von „hell“ (1) bis „dunkel“ (6) kann mit dem

Bräunungsregler 6 stufenlos eingestellt werden.

Toasten

ACHTUNG! BRANDGEFAHR!

► Decken Sie bei Betrieb des Toasters die Röstschächte 8 nicht ab. Es be-

HINWEIS

► Wenn Sie den Toaster mit nur einem Toast beladen, drehen Sie den Bräu-

nungsregler 6 um ca. 1 Stufe zurück, um die gleiche Bräunung wie bei

einer Beladung mit zwei Toasts zu erreichen.

1) Nach dem Einstellen des gewünschten Bräunungsgrades legen Sie das Brot

in den Röstschacht 8 ein.

2) Drücken Sie die Bedientaste 1 nach unten. Die automatische Brotzentrie-

rung zentriert das eingelegte Brot im Röstschacht 8. Während des Röstvor-

ganges leuchtet die in der Taste „Stop“ 5 integrierte Kontrollleuchte.

3) Ist der gewünschte Bräunungsgrad erreicht, schaltet sich der Toaster automa-

tisch ab und die Brotscheiben kommen wieder nach oben. Die Kontrollleuchte

erlischt.

Toastvorgang unterbrechen

Wenn Sie den Toastvorgang unterbrechen wollen, drücken Sie die Taste „Stop“

5. Der Toaster schaltet sich aus und die Brotscheiben kommen nach oben.

Aufwärm-Funktion

Die Aufwärm-Funktion ermöglicht Ihnen, das Brot zu erwärmen ohne es zu

bräunen. Zum Beispiel, wenn geröstetes Brot wieder erkaltet ist. Das Brot wird nur

kurz erwärmt.

1) Legen Sie das Brot ein und drücken die Bedientaste 1 nach unten.

2) Betätigen Sie die Taste „Aufwärmen“ 4. Die integrierte Kontrollleuchte

leuchtet.

3) Wenn das Brot wieder aufgewärmt ist, schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch

ab und die Brotscheiben kommen wieder nach oben.

HINWEIS

► Um die Aufwärm-Funktion wieder auszuschalten, drücken Sie die Taste

„Aufwärmen“ 4 noch einmal. Die integrierte Kontrollleuchte erlischt,

der Aufwärm-Vorgang wird als normaler Toastvorgang fortgesetzt.

Auftau-Funktion

Durch Betätigung der Taste „Auftauen“ 3 kann auch eingefrorenes Toastbrot

aufgetaut und getoastet werden. Der Toaster erwärmt das Brot hierbei langsam.

Durch das Aktivieren der Auftaufunktion wird hierbei beim tiefgefrorenen Toast die

gleiche Bräunung erreicht, wie beim normalen Toasten eines frischen Toastbrotes.

1) Nach dem Einstellen des gewünschten Bräunungsgrades legen Sie das Brot

in den Röstschacht 8 ein.

2) Drücken Sie die Bedientaste 1 nach unten.

3) Betätigen Sie die Taste „Auftauen“ 3. Die integrierte Kontrollleuchte leuchtet.

4) Wenn der Auftau- und Röstvorgang beendet ist, schaltet sich der Toaster

automatisch ab, die in der Taste „Auftauen“ 3 integrierte Kontrollleuchte

erlischt und die Brotscheiben kommen wieder nach oben.

HINWEIS

► Um die Auftau-Funktion wieder auszuschalten, drücken Sie die Taste „Auf-

tauen“ 3 noch einmal. Die integrierte Kontrollleuchte erlischt, der Auf-

tau-Vorgang wird als normaler Toastvorgang fortgesetzt.

Brötchen knusprig aufwärmen

Legen Sie Brötchen niemals direkt auf den Toaster, sondern verwenden Sie immer

den Brötchenaufsatz 7.

1) Klappen Sie die beiden Standfüße des Brötchenaufsatzes 7 aus.

2) Stellen Sie den Brötchenaufsatz 7 so auf das Gerät, dass die Standfüße

in die Röstschächte 8 ragen und der Steg zwischen den Röstschächten 8

in die Auswölbungen der Standfüße ragt. So steht der Brötchenaufsatz 7

sicher auf dem Gerät.

3) Legen Sie die Brötchen darauf und starten Sie den Toastvorgang. Stellen

Sie den Bräunungsregler 6 dafür maximal auf Stufe 2 . Die Bräunung

kann jedoch, je nach Beschaﬀenheit und Art des Brötchens, unterschiedlich

ausfallen.

HINWEIS

► Die Brötchen sind nach dem Röstvorgang sehr heiß.

4) Sobald sich der Toaster ausschaltet, das Brötchen zur Bräunung der anderen

Seite umdrehen und den Toaster wieder einschalten.

5) Wenn Sie den Brötchenaufsatz 7 nicht mehr benötigen, können Sie diesen

platzsparend aufbewahren:

–Warten Sie, bis sich der Brötchenaufsatz 7 abgekühlt ab.

–Nehmen Sie ihn vom Gerät.

–Klappen Sie die Standfüße des Brötchenaufsatzes 7 wieder um.

Krümelschublade

Beim Toasten sammeln sich die abfallenden Krümel in der Krümelschublade 0.

1) Zum Entfernen der Krümel ziehen Sie die Krümelschublade 0 heraus.

2) Entfernen Sie die Krümel.

3) Schieben Sie die Krümelschublade 0 wieder in den Toaster, so dass sie

fühlbar einrastet.

■ Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse mit einem trockenen Tuch oder mit einem leicht

angefeuchteten Lappen.

■ Wischen Sie den Brötchenaufsatz 7 mit einem feuchten Tuch ab.

■ Entleeren Sie in regelmäßigen Abständen die Krümelschublade 0, um

Brandgefahr zu vermeiden.

Aufbewahren

■ Reinigen Sie den Toaster wie im Kapitel „Reinigen“ beschrieben.

■ Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel um die Kabelaufwicklung 9 an der Unterseite

des Toasters:

■ Bewahren Sie den Toaster an einem trockenen Ort auf.

Mängeln dieses Produkts stehen Ihnen gegen den Verkäufer des Produkts gesetz-

Garantiebedingungen

Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese Garantie

daher als Verschleißteile angesehen werden können oder für Beschädigungen an

zerbrechlichen Teilen, z. B. Schalter, Akkus oder Teile, die aus Glas gefertigt sind.

Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschädigt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt

oder gewartet wurde. Für eine sachgemäße Benutzung des Produkts sind alle
