Ingestion may cause
chemical
burns, perforation of soft tissue
and death. Severe burns may

Incorrect handling of batteries
can cause fire, explosion, leak-
age of hazardous substances

and do not expose them to high

manent damage to the device.
Take special care when hand-
ling with damaged or leaking
batteries. Danger of chemical
burn! Wear protective gloves.
Q Chemicals that leak from a bat-
tery can cause skin irritation.
Q In the event of contact with the skin,
rinse with plenty of water. If chemi-
cals have come into contact with
the eyes, rinse them thoroughly
with water, do not rub them and
consult a doctor immediately.
Q Different types of batteries or
rechargeable batteries must
not be used together.

Always insert batteries with the
correct polarity, otherwise they
may burst.

Remove the batteries from the
device if you are not going to
use it for a long time. This does
not apply if the device is inten-
ded for emergency use.
