Operating the appliance
1) Place the base on a clean and level
surface.
2) Select the appropriate blender jug /
for your smoothie:
–large blender jug , for a roughly
600 ml smoothie,
–small blender jug , for a roughly
300 ml smoothie.
3) Add the prepared ingredients to the blender
jug /. Always add liquid ingredients first
and then the more solid ingredients such as
the fruit and/or crushed ice.
CAUTION! MATERIAL DAMAGE!
► Never fill the blender jug / with ingre-
dients past the MAX marking! The appliance
will not be able to process the ingredients!
► Always add at least 100 ml of liquid into the
blender jug / when making a smoothie.
4) Check whether the sealing ring is correctly
seated in the blade holder . Place the blade
holder on the blender jug / so that the
blade extends into the blender jug /,
and screw the blade holder firmly in place.
5) Now place the blade holder and the
attached blender jug / onto the base
so that the arrow on the blade holder is
pointing to the symbol on the base .
CAUTION! MATERIAL DAMAGE!
► To turn the blade holder , always hold only
the blade holder and never try to turn the
blender jug /! Otherwise, the blender
jug / will detach and the ingredients will
spill out!
6) Then turn the blade holder so that the arrow
on the blade holder points to the symbol
on the base . The blade holder must
audibly click into place so that it sits firmly on
the base .
NOTE
► The appliance will only start if the blade
holder , the blender jug / and the
base are assembled correctly.
7) Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
8) Set the speed switch to the required speed
and wait until the smoothie has reached the
desired consistency.
9) Set the speed switch to “0“.
NOTE
► If the ingredients do not mix properly, it may
be necessary to lift up the appliance and
shake it a little. When doing so, take hold of
the blade holder together with the blender
jug / and the base so that they do
not come apart.
CAUTION! MATERIAL DAMAGE!
► Do not operate the appliance for longer than
1 minute in one session. The appliance will
overheat! After using for 1 minute, allow the
appliance to cool down completely.
CAUTION! MATERIAL DAMAGE!
► To turn the blade holder , always hold only
the blade holder and never try to turn the
blender jug /! Otherwise, the blender
jug / will detach and the ingredients will
spill out!
10) When the smoothie is ready, turn the blade
holder until the arrow on the blade holder
points to the symbol on the base and
remove the blade holder with the attached
blender jug /.
11) Turn the blender jug / over and unscrew
the blade holder .
12) Screw the lid / onto the blender jug
/. You can drink the smoothie through the
drinking opening on the lid /.
