Intended purpose
This is an entertainment electr onics device . The Bl uetooth loudspeak er is in-
tended for playing sound from audio devices via Bluetooth or using the
3.5 mm jack socket. The loudspeaker can be connected with another loud-
speaker via TWS.
The device is designed for private use. This device must not be used for com-
mercial purposes.
Do not make any changes or c arr y out any repairs. The manufacturer is not
liable for damage or ma lfunctions caused by improper repairs or modific a-

W ARNING! Risk of ma terial damage
~If you notice any irr egularities (e.g. unusual noises, str ange smell s or
smoke developing) turn the device off immediately and remove all ca-
bles. Do not use the de vice any longer .
~If the device is move d from a cold location to a war m location, conden-
sate may form in the device. Leave the device switched off for a few
hours to become acclimatised.
~Pr otect the device against damage, e.g. from:
- Drips and water splashes
- Heat, direct sun radiation and open flames (e.g. candles)

Before using for the first time
• Remove all packing m aterials.
• Remove any protective films from the device.
• Check that the device is undamaged. A damaged de vice must never be
used.
Overview Charging
W ARNING!
~Because of the high power consumption , do not charge the loudsp eak-
er through a laptop / PC. Only charge the loudsp eaker via a USB
power unit (5 V , min. 1 A, not inclu ded in the item s supplied) .
~The device must not be co vered while the batter y is charging.
~The device must only be char ged in a dr y environment.
NO TES:
• When using a U SB power unit (not included in items s upplied), comply
with its user ins tructions. T he USB power unit m ust be able to output at
least 1A output c urrent.
• Charge the batter y fully before using the device.
• The maximum batter y ca pacity is reached after approx. 4 - 5 charging
cycles.
• At a batter y capacity of less than approx. 10 %, an audio signal will
sound once and the charging LED8 will be lit red until the device auto-
matically swi tches itse lf off.
• The charging time of an empty batter y is approx. 2 - 2.5 hours. Play-
back is possible during the charging process, however this extends the
charging time.
1. Connect the Micr o USB plug of the USB char ger cable 13 to the Micro
USB port9 of the device.
2. Connect the USB A plug o f the USB charger cable13 with a US B pow-
er unit (not included i n the item s supplied ). The charging LED8 is lit red
and goes out when the b atter y is fully charged.

NOTE: it is possible that not all of the functions will be suppor ted by all au-
dio devices. This is not a device error .

Establishing a Bluetooth connection
NOTES:
• The identification of the loudspeaker is “ SBLP 5.0 B1” .
• After switching on, the loudspeaker automatically tries to reconnect to
the last paired device or to establish a new conn ection.
• Please obser ve th at establishing the connection may var y slightly de-
pending on the audio de vice and the software used.
• The Bluetooth r ange is 10 metres.
• The loudspeaker switches o ff if no Bluetooth connec tion can be estab-
lished within 10 minutes.
• With moderate volume settings, the loudspeaker can be used for a
playback period of approx. 12 hours with the Bluetooth connection es-
tablished.
• If you pass the loudspeaker on to som eone else, in order to protect your
data and your privacy, you should disconnect th e Bluetooth connection
to the device and delete it from the connection list on your smartphone.
1. If necessar y, remove the plug of the 3.5 mm stereo jack cable14 from
the jack socket10 .
2. Switch the lo udspeaker on using th e button 6 . An audio signal
sounds. The LED2 flashes wh ite. The Blue tooth iden tification of the de-
vice is sent.
3. Switch on the aud io device (e.g. smartphone ) and start the Bluetooth
connection. The audio device should now r ec eive the d evice i dentifi ca-
tion “SBLP 5.0 B1” .
4. Establish a connection to the Bluetooth lo udspeaker on the audio de-
vice. Both devices are now interconnected. The LED2 on the device
flashes white slowly a nd an audio signal sounds.
N OT E : it is possible that audio devices remember the identification of the
loudspeaker . Thus it is possible that a new connection may not be have to
be established manually while the Bluetooth function is activated.
5. Now , start the playback of a music track on the audio device. The
sound is played back via the l oudspeaker7 .
