8. Doby varenia
Časy uvedené v tabuľkách sú orientač
hodnoty. Skutočná doba varenia závisí od:
•veľkosti a čerstvosti potravín,
plniacej kapacity varných košov3,
polohy parného koša3 (hore alebo do-
le),
teploty vody (uvedené doby sa vzťahu-
jú na studenú vodu. Pri teplej vode sa
doba varenia o niečo skráti),
osobných preferencií (chrumkavé alebo
mäkké).
UPOZORNENIA:
Premiešajte, príp. prevrstvite pokrm ob-
čas pomocou dlhej varešky.
Dbajte na to, aby boli všetky kúsky pri-
bližne rovnako veľké. Menšie kúsky
dajte hore.
•Parné3 hrnce neprepĺňajte prílišným
naplnením potravinami alebo prekrytím
všetkých otvorov. Medzi jednotlivými
kúskami a otvormi v dnách parných ko-
šov musí myť možnosť všade prúdiť pa-
ra.
8.1 Doby prípravy zeleniny
v parnom hrnci
Zeleninu pripravte tak, že odrežete hlú-
by a veľkú zeleninu rozdelíte na rovna-
ko veľ kúsky.
Listová zelenina by sa mala variť čo
najkratšie, aby nestratila farbu.
Zeleninu koreňte a soľte až po uvarení.
Mrazená zelenina sa dá pripravovať v
parnom hrnci rovnako ako čerstvá. Pri
