Note: Clean the product before ﬁrst use as described under „Cleaning

and care“.

Insert the adapter tube 8 into the intended opening 9 in the

smoke chamber 6. Then attach the hose 10 to the adapter tube 8.

Place the product on a level, dry and non-ﬂammable surface.

Fill the opening 7 of the smoke chamber 6 with smoking wood

chips, dried herbs, spices or tea (see Fig. A).

Place the other end of the hose 10 in a container or bag (not in-

cluded in the delivery contents) in which you have placed the food

to be ﬂavoured, and then close the container or bag (see Fig. B).

Note: The hose 10 may touch the food.

Note: Never place the product and container or bag on the

edge of the work surface. Otherwise there is a ﬁre hazard due to

falling products / containers and a danger of property damage.

Switch the product on by pushing the ON / OFF switch 5 down-

wards.

Light the smoking wood chips, dried herbs, spices or tea with a

lighter or with matches (see Fig. C).

Do not allow the product to run for more than 30 seconds.

Note: A smoking process of two to three minutes is usually suﬃcient

to give the food a light smoky ﬂavour. Continuous smoke production

is not necessary. After 30 seconds, relight the smoking wood chips,

dried herbs, spices or tea. Repeat the process until the desired

ﬂavour is achieved.

After concluding the smoking process, push the ON / OFF switch

5 upwards to switch the product oﬀ.

Note: Make sure that the embers are completely extinguished.

Leave these to rest and cool down.
