Bringen Sie das Gerät vor der Messung auf Raumtem-
peratur.
Manschette anlegen
ACHTUNG! Das Gerät darf nur mit der Original-Man-
schette betrieben werden. Die Manschette ist für einen
Oberarmumfang von 22 bis 42 cm geeignet.
Legen Sie die Manschette 1 am entblößten Oberarm
an (Abb. D). Die Durchblutung des Arms darf nicht
durch zu enge Kleidungsstücke oder Ähnliches einge-
engt sein.
Die Manschette 1 ist am Oberarm so zu platzieren,
dass der untere Rand 2–3 cm über der Ellenbeuge und
über der Arterie liegt. Der Manschettenschlauch 2
weist zur Handflächenmitte.
Legen Sie nun das freie Ende der Manschette 1 eng,
aber nicht zu stramm um den Arm und schließen Sie den
Klettverschluss (Abb. E). Die Manschette 1 sollte so
stramm angelegt sein, dass noch zwei Finger unter die
Manschette 1 passen (Abb. F).
Diese Manschette ist für Sie geeignet, wenn nach Anlegen
der Manschette die Index-Markierung auf der Außenseite
der Manschette (▼) innerhalb des OK-Bereichs auf der
Manschette liegt (Abb. G).
Stecken Sie nun den Manschettenschlauch 2 mit dem
Manschettenstecker 3 in den Anschluss (Abb. H).
