Boiling eggs to diﬀerent degrees of ﬁrmness

You can boil eggs to two diﬀerent degrees of ﬁrmness in the appliance. It will

always reach the softest level ﬁrst. For reliable results, all the eggs used must be

of the same size and have the same starting temperature.

For the ﬁrst cooking process, the symbols to the right of the control

apply.

For the second cooking process, the symbols to the left of the control apply.

1) Prepare the eggs as described in the section "Preparing eggs".

2) Turn the control switch to the position that corresponds to the

softest ﬁrmness level of the eggs (the symbols to the right of the

control apply).

3) Press the operating switch to the position "I" to switch the appliance on.

The integrated control lamp lights up and cooking begins.

4) As soon as the eggs have reached the ﬁrst, softer ﬁrmness level, a beep will

be heard. To switch the appliance oﬀ, set the operating switch to the

position "O". The integrated control lamp goes out.

5) Then take oﬀ the lid and carefully remove the desired number of eggs

(those that have been cooked to the softer ﬁrmness level).

WARNING

Risk of burns!

► The boiled eggs are very hot! Always wear oven gloves to protect your

ﬁngers when touching the eggs.

Shock the removed eggs under cold, ﬂowing water.

6) Replace the lid and turn the control switch to the position of the

symbol to the left of the control (the desired ﬁrmness level for the eggs that

remain in the appliance):

medium-boiled eggs in the second

cooking process after soft-boiled

eggs in the ﬁrst cooking process

hard-boiled eggs in the second

cooking process, after medium-boiled

eggs in the ﬁrst cooking process

hard-boiled eggs in the second

cooking process after soft-boiled

eggs in the ﬁrst cooking process

7) Press the operating switch to the position "I" to switch the appliance on.

The integrated control lamp lights up and the second part of the combined

cooking process begins.
