11.2. Tips for capturing good images
Move the camera slowly so that the photos do not become blurry. Do not move
the camera when pressing the shutter release. Do not move the camera immedi-
ately after pressing the shutter release.
View the subject on the display before pressing the shutter release.
Check the angle when the subject is lit from behind. Change position to reduce
the background lighting.
Pan the camera slowly to create good video clips. Video recordings will be-
come blurry and hazy if you pan too quickly.
11.3. Taking a photograph
If you can see the image on the display, first press the shutter release 14 down
a little.
The green focus fields (AF fields) appear red when the autofocus cannot focus.
The values for the shutter speed, the aperture and the ISO value appear.
Press the shutter release down fully to take the image.
The photos will be saved as JPEG files.
If the image is likely to be blurry, the icon also appears. In this case,
you should hold the camera still or use a tripod.
You can make various settings relating to the image via the function menu,
see Page 45.
To take a close-up, select the macro focus setting with the button 10 E.
