FITTING

THE

MAGNET (Figs

8 10)

Press

the

groove

in the

magnet onto

front wheel spoke, level with

the

position

of the

sensor,

ensuring that

the

magnet points towards

the

sensor (fig.

9).

Push

the

casing onto

the

magnet from below using

screwdriver, until

the

casing

covers

the

magnet (fig.

10).

NB:

The

distance between magnet

and

sensor must

not

exceed

5 mm (fig. 8).

If necessary place some material between

the

fork

and the

sonsor

reduce this distance.

For mountain bikes

it may bo

necessary

to fit the

sensor lowor down

tho

lork

order

keep within

the 5 mm

maximum permissible distance between sensor

and

magnet.

Measure

the

wheel diamelor

(d) in mm and

multiply

by 3. M to

calculate

the

wheel circumferen-
