Normal rooms, normal (steel pipe) radiators and
buildings with average insulation.
Fast controlled systems:
For small rooms, light (plate) radiators, well
insulated builgings or fan coil units.
Slow controlled systems:
For large rooms, heavy (cast iron) radiators,
poorly insulated buildings and large masses.
Control gain (adaption of heat output)
On the heating engineer level, change from the flashing

Normally sized heat output (standard)
Oversized heat output:
For high boiler / flow temperatures, oversized
heating surfaces or oversized volumetric flow
(nominal valve size).
Undersized heat output:
For low boiler / flow temperatures, too small
heating surfaces or too small volumetric flow
(nominal valve size).
4.2.2 Frost protection mode
Use operating mode selector to select symbol
(also refer to Fig ).
If the standard value of 5 °C need to be changed, the frost
protection setpoint
must be changed via temperature
menu T (refer to the Operating Instructions).
5. Replacing the controller
Proceed according to Fig. G.
6. Functional check
a) Check the display. If there is no display, check the
correct fitting and function of the batteries.
b) Comfort mode
c) Select temperature menu T and adjust the temperature
setpoint
to 29 °C (refer to the Operating
Instructions)
d) The controller must deliver an OPEN signal
for
about 150 seconds, and the regulating unit must run to
its limit position. If this is not the case:
Check regulating unit and wiring
Room temperature may be higher than 29 °C
e) Select temperature menu T and adjust the temperature
setpoint
to 5 °C (16 °C in case of set value
limitation)
f) The controller must deliver a CLOSE signal
for
about 150 seconds, and the regulating unit must run to
its limit position. If this is not the case:
Check regulating unit and wiring
Room temperature may be lower than 5 °C
(16 °C in the case of set value limitation)
g) Reset the setpoint temperature
to the initial value
(standard value 19 °C or individual setting)
h) Select the required operating mode
7. Reset
User-defined data:
Press the button behind the pin opening for at least one
second: this resets the user-specific settings to their
default values (the heating engineer settings will not

driven to its fully closed position.
Important: The actuator reaches the fully closed position
within a maximum of 150 seconds.
After every reset the controller must be slid
back onto its base within 30 seconds.
8. Notes
REV33 is an electric weekly programmable room
temperature controller.
The controler conforms to “Software Class A” and is for
use in “normal” pollution situation.
If the reference room is equipped with thermostatic
radiator valves, they must be set to their fully open
position
The remote operation contact T1 / T2 must be wired
separately using a separate screened cable
Ensure that the local regulations for electrical
installations are complied with
