Making Calls
Call Functions
2.2 Call Functions
You can use myPortal entry to control call functions, e.g., to accept or make calls.
You can optionally dial phone numbers directly from the journal, by using function
keys or from the personal directory (phonebook).
2.2.1 How to Answer a Call
Prerequisites: • An inbound call is displayed in the Connections call control.
Step by Step: 1. Click on the large button with the ringing bell symbol.
2.2.2 How to Make Calls by Entering a Number Manually
Step by Step: 1. Click in the middle of myPortal entry Start.
2. Click on the Connections symbol.
3. Click in the white field and enter the phone number in dialable format or paste
a number from the clipboard with <CTRL>+<V>.
4. Select one of the following options:
• Click on the Dial number button.
• Press the Enter key on the PC keyboard.
2.2.3 How to Redial
Prerequisites: • There are existing entries in the redial list.
Step by Step: 1. Click in the middle of myPortal entry Start.
2. Click on the Connections symbol.
3. Click the Redial button.
4. Click on the desired number in the redial list.
