current project, LOGO!Soft Comfort prompt you to save it.

Creating a circuit project
Developing a circuit project
Perform these tasks to develop a circuit program:
1. Create a new project (Page 164).
2. Add a new device (Page 165)
3. Create a circuit program for the device (Page 141)
4. Save the project (Page 168)

Adding a new device
After you create a new project, you can start to design your network and add devices.
1. Double-click
Add new device
in the Network project tree.
2. Select Device in the Device list.
3. Set the IP address, subnet mask and the Gateway for the device in the configuration
dialog. You can also change the device name in this window.
Alternatively, you can click the
Add new device
button in Networking toolbar (Page 45)to
add a new device.
Note
When you add a new device in the Network view of project mode, LOGO!Soft Comfort
a
utomatically creates a new circuit program and displays it in the diagram editor. See
"
Creating a new circuit program (Page 142)", for more information.
3.4.1.4
Devices
Local PC
You use the local PC to create, edit, and configure the project and circuit program. For how
to configure the local PC, see Configuring PC settings (Page 171).
When you add a new device, LOGO!Soft Comfort generates an Ethernet connection
between the device and the local PC. You cannot modify the Ethernet connection line in the
Network view.
