Typ het wachtwoord waarmee u bent aangemeld op de PC of in het net-
werk.
Het wachtwoord wordt weergegeven door sterretjes; elk ingevoerd
teken wordt weergegeven door een sterretje *.

Sla het wachtwoord op.
In het overzicht voor het gekozen netwerkmap wordt het opgeslagen
wachtwoord (ongeacht de daadwerkelijke lengte) weergegeven door
de tekenreeks ***.

Open het invoerveld Werkgroep.

Typ de naam van de werkgroep.
Naam van de werkgroep bepalen:
Start > Instellingen > Configuratiescherm > Systeem
Windows 2000: Tabblad Netwerkidentificatie > Eigenschappen, Lid
van werkgroep
Windows XP: Tabblad Computernaam > klik op Wijzigen > Lid van
werkgroep

Sla de werkgroep op.

Open het invoerveld IP-adres.

Windows 2000 / Windows XP:
Typ het IP-adres van de PC. Bedenk dat u het IP-adres moet opgeven met
punten (blauwe toets) tussen de cijferblokken.
Windows 98 / Windows ME:
Typ de computernaam van de PC.
De computernaam vindt u op de PC onder: Configuratiescherm > Net-
werk > Identificatie > Computernaam

Sla het IP-adres of de computernaam op.

Open het invoerveld Map.

Typ de naam van de gedeelde map op de PC. Hoe u de sharenaam
bepaalt, leest u in hoofdstuk “PC voorbereiden” op pagina 30.

Sla de sharenaam op.

Sluit het menu om de instellingen over te nemen.
De verbinding met de PC wordt opgebouwd.
Herhaal de procedure voor elk volgend netwerkmap dat u wilt verbin-
den.
