Placas eléctricas
Antes de usar a placa pela primeira vez, aqueça-a
durante 5 minutos sem nenhum recipiente sobre ela e
com o regulador à máxima potência. Durante este
período de tempo, é normal que a placa deite fumo e
cheiros, que com o uso irão desaparecendo. À excepção
deste primeiro aquecimento, não use as placas sem
recipientes.
Recomenda-se no início da cozedura, colocar o comando
na posição máxima, e em função da quantidade e da
qualidade dos alimentos, passar posteriormente para
uma posição intermédia de manutenção.
Aproveitando a inércia térmica da placa, é possível
apagá-la um pouco antes de acabar a cozedura, a fim
de obter uma economia de energia, porque ela continuará
a cozedura devido ao calor acumulado nela.
Use recipientes com o fundo completamente plano,
grosso e com um tamanho similar ao do elemento
aquecedor, nunca com um tamanho mais pequeno.
