Presetting Stations Manually
You can preset up to 20 FM stations.
1. To store a preset, you must  rst be listening to the station that you
would like to save, press and hold the PROG button on the remote
control. The display will show “## Empty”, and the preset number will
ash.
2. Press the
/ or number (0~9) buttons to select the preset number.
3. Press the PROG button to store the station.
4. Repeat above steps 1 to 3 for each station you want to store in
memory with a preset number.
Show RDS information
RDS (Radio Data System) is a service that allows FM stations to show
additional information. If you tune to a RDS station, the station name
are displayed. When automatic programming is used, RDS stations are
programmed  rst.
1. Tune to a RDS station.
2. Press the INFO button repeatedly to scroll through the following
information (if available): Station name, PTY, RADIO TEXT, Frequency,
CLOCK INFO.
DAB Operation
To listen to the tuned stations press the / button. Each time you
press the
/ button, you will skip to the previous or next stored
station (including primary and secondary station). The unit will display the
station name.
Auto Scan
The auto scan will search for all DAB Band III channels. After the scan has
nished, the  rst alphanumerically found station will be automatically
selected.
1. Press the
/SCAN button on the remote control to start Auto Scan.
The display will show SCANNING“ and then SCAN ## that indicates
the progress of the scan and the amount of stations that have been
found so far.
2. Once the scan has  nished, the unit will display the total number of
stations have been found. All the stations that have been found will be
stored automatically.
To explore the found stations, press the
/ button to the selected
station.
Tip:
You may press and hold the button to clear the previously tuned stations
before running an auto scan.
Manual Tuning
As well as the auto tune function, you can manually tune the receiver. This
can help you when aligning your aerial or when adding stations that were
missed while auto tuning.
1. Press and hold the
/SCAN button to select Manual tune, the
display will now show Manual tune”.
2. Press the
/ button to cycle through the DAB channels, which
are frequency from 5A to 13F.
3. After your desired channel number is selected, press the
/SCAN
button to con rm. The display will show TUNING”.
4. The unit will start to scan.
Presetting Stations

will enable you to access your favourite stations quickly and easily.

would like to save.
2. Press PROG button on the remote control. The display will show “##
Empty”, and the preset number will  ash.
3. Press
/ button on the remote control to select your desired station
preset number.
4. Press the PROG button to con rm your station, the display will show
SAVED”.
Recalling a Preset Station
1. Once you have saved a station to one of the preset buttons, you can
recall it by pressing the
/ button on the remote control to select
your desired preset number.
2. Preset number and station name will show on the display to indicate
the preset station you are listening to. Press
/SCAN button on the
unit or remote control to con rm.
Tip:
The stored stations will be saved into the memory and power o will not
erase it. Storing a new station in a preset location will erase the previously
stored station in that location.
DAB Display Modes
Every time you press the INFO button, the display will cycle through the
following display modes.
Station Name
When a radio station is received, the name
of that station will be displayed.
Ensemble Name
An Ensemble/multiplex is a collection of radio stations
that are bundled and transmitted on one frequency.
There are national and local multiplexes. Local ones
contain stations that are speci c to that area.
Tip: DAB – unlike normal radio, groups together several radio
stations and transmits them on one frequency.
Clock
The broadcaster (Radio station) provides clock
information automatically. If the information is not
available, the display will show the incorrect time.
Date
The broadcaster (Radio station) provides date
information automatically. If the information is not
available, the display will show the incorrect date.
DLS (Dynamic Label Segment)
Dynamic label segment is a scrolling message that the
broadcaster may include with their transmissions. The message
usually includes information, such as program details etc.
Programme Type
This describes the Style or genre of music that
is being broadcast e.g. Rock or Classical”.
Channel Number
DAB digital radio can be broadcast on a wide number of frequencies.
Frequency
The frequency of the present station will be displayed.
Stereo/Mono
The display will show the audio mode (Stereo
or Mono) of the current station.
Bitrate
The display will show the digital audio bit rate being received.
Signal Strength
The display will show a slide bar to indicate the signal strength, the
stronger the signal, the longer the bar will be from left to right.
