Exception Clauses

Sharp will not be held responsible for personal injury or loss to property

for the following:

1. Any damage to the product caused by neglect, poor maintenance,

incorrect handling or misuse;

2. Any altering, changing or use of the product with any other equipment

which is not detailed in this User Manual;

3. If, after verication, damage or gas leakage has been caused by

corrosive gas;

4. If, after verication, damage or gas leakage has been caused by

incorrect transportation of the product;

5. Operate, repair, maintain the unit without abiding to the instructions in

this User Manual or related regulations;

6. After verication, the problem or dispute is caused by the quality

specication or performance of parts and components that have been

produced by other manufacturers;

7. If any damage has been caused by natural calamities, bad using

environment or force majeure.

• When refrigerant leaks or requires discharge during installation,

maintenance, should carried out by certied professionals or otherwise

in compliance with local laws and regulations.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)

with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of

experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or

instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for

their safety.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the

appliance.

The Refrigerant

• To realize the function of the air conditioner unit, a special refrigerant

circulates in the system. The used refrigerant is uoride R290, which has

been specially cleaned before installation to the refrigeration system.

The refrigerant is ammable and inodorous. Furthermore, it can lead to

explosion under certain conditions.

• Compared to common refrigerants, R290 is a nonpolluting refrigerant

which does not harm the ozonosphere. The inuence upon the

greenhouse eect is also lower. R290 has got very good thermodynamic

features which leads to a really high energy eciency. The units

therefore need a less lling.

Warning:

• Appliance lled with ammable gas R290.

• Appliance is recommended to be installed,operated and stored in a

room with a oor area larger than 11m².

• The appliance is not to be stored in a room with continuously operating

ignition sources. (for example: open ames, an operating gas appliance

or an operating electric heater).

• The appliance shall be stored in a well-ventilated area where the room

size corresponds to the room area as specied for operation.

• The appliance shall be stored so as to prevent mechanical damage from

occurring.

• Ducts connected to an appliance shall not contain an ignition source.

• Keep any required ventilation openings clear of obstruction.

• Do not pierce or burn.

• Be aware that refrigerants may not contain an odour.

• Do not use means to accelerate the defrosting process or to clean, other

than those recommended by the manufacturer.

• Servicing shall be performed only as recommended by the

manufacturer.

• Should repair be necessary, contact your nearest authorized Service

Centre. Any repairs carried out by unqualied personnel may be

dangerous ,not covered under warrant and not supported by the

manufacturer.

• Compliance with national gas regulations have to be observed.

Warning:

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above

lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision

or instruct ion concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and

understand the hazards involved.

• Do not allow children to play with the appliance.

• Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children

without supervision.

• Before operation, please conrm that the mains supply power

specication complies with that on rating plate (this is located on the

side of the product).

• Before cleaning or maintaining the air conditioner, please turn o air

conditioner and disconnect the power plug.

• Do not damage or alter the powercord arbitrarily. It should not be

twisted, extended, bundled up or placed near hot places. Do not place

heavy items on the power cord or place the cord in the gap between

objects.

• Do not pull or drag the power cord to pull out the power plug or move

the air conditioner.

• Do not insert or pull out the power plug with wet hands.

• Ensure that the appliance is grounded. Make sure the grounding

is reliable. If in doubt about the grounding of the product, seek

professional advice.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be brought to the dealer for repair

or replacement to prevent any hazards occurring.

• In case of an exception (e.g., burn t smell), please turn o the product

immediately. Remove its power plug and contact the dealer for repair.

• When the appliance is not in use or undergoing maintenance, please

turn o the power supply and pull out the power plug to avoid

damaging the unit.

• Do not splash or pour water on this product as it may cause a short

circuit or damage to air conditioner.

• Do not use the drainage hose below 0 °C. A frozen drainage hose will

cause water to leak from the appliance.

• Do not operate heating equipment around the air conditioner.

• Do not operate the unit in the bathroom or laundry room.

• Keep the appliance far way from sources of re, ammable and explosive

items.

• Children and disabled people are not allowed to use the portable room

air conditioner without supervision.

• Keep children from playing or climbing on the air conditioner.

• Do not put or hang dripping objects above the air conditioner.

• Do not repair or disassemble the air c onditioner by yourself.

• Do not insert any objects into the air conditioner.

• Make sure there are no foreign substances in air duct. Should any foreign

substances get into the air duct, please contact the dealer to prevent any

hazards occurring.

• Do not use an extension cord.

Operation Environment:

• The air conditioner must be operated within the temperature range of

16 °C to 35 °C:

• The appliance is for indoor use only.

• The appliance must be positioned so that the plug is accessible.

• This air conditioner can only be used in domestic environments, it is not

to be used in commercial areas.

• Allow a gap of at least 30 cm around the appliance and ensure oor

surface is smooth and at.

• Do not operate the air

conditioner at humid

environment.

• Keep the air inlet and outlet

clean and unobstructed.

• During operation, close doors

and windows to improve cooling

• Locate the appliance on a

• This air conditioner is equipped with castors. Castors should slide at

NOTE:

 After connecting the power, the air conditioner will emit a sound. After

this, you can operate the air conditioner by the control panel.

 When the appliance is turned on, it will emit a sound each time a button

is pressed. When a button is pressed, the associated light will turn on

or o.

 When the appliance is turned o, the display will also be o. When

turned on, the display panel on control panel will display set

temperature under Cooling mode and Heating mode (Cool and Heat

model only).

Operation of Control Panel

ON/OFF button

Pressing this button turns the air conditioner on and o.

+ / - button

Under cooling or heating mode, press “+” or “-” button to increase or

decrease set temperature by 1°C . Set temperature range is 16°C to 30°C.

When in the auto, dry or fan mode, these buttons will not operate.

Fan button

Press this button and the fan speed will change as:

low speed >> medium speed >> high speed >> auto fan

Mode button

Press this button and the mode will change as:

COOL >> DRY >> FAN >> HEAT (Cool and Heat model only)

COOL: Under this mode, cool mode indicator will be on.

Display panel displays set temperature.

Temperature setting range is 16°C ~ 30°C.

DRY: Under this mode, dry mode indicator will be on.

Display panel won’t display.

FAN: Under this mode, only the fan will work. Fan mode indicator will go

on. Display panel won’t display.

HEAT (Cool and Heat model only): Under this mode, heating mode

indicator will go on. Display panel displays set temperature. Temperature

setting range is 16°C ~ 30°C.

Timer button

When setting the timer in the o mode, it will work as an ON timer

function. When setting the timer in the on mode, the timer will work as an

OFF timer. Note that the ON timer and OFF timer cannot be set together.

Press the timer button to enter the timer set mode. When in the timer

mode, use the – and + buttons to select the time in 0.5 intervals. When

the display shows 10 hours, the + and - buttons will set in 1 hour intervals.

After setting duration time, press timer button again to conrm the setting.

When ON timer is set, the unit will start operating when the time set has

elapsed. When OFF timer is set, after setting the timer, the timer display

will be replaced with the temperature after ve seconds.

To cancel the timer, press the timer button again.

Swing

Press this button, horizontal louver of air conditioner will swing up and

down automatically. Single press it to switchover between on and o.

Remote control functions

NOTE:

 The remote control may have more functionality than your air

conditioner has. If any additional buttons are pressed, they will have no

aect on the operation of the unit.

 When power is connected (stand by condition), you can operate the air

conditioner through the remote control.

 When unit is on, each time you press the button on remote control, the

signal icon " " on the display of remote control will blink once. If the

air conditioner emits a sound, it means the signal has been sent.

 When unit is o, set temperature will be displayed on the remote control

(If the light of indoor unit display is turned on, the corresponding icon

will be displayed). When unit is on, the icons of the ongoing functions

will be displayed on the remote control.

ON/OFF button

Press this button to turn unit ON/OFF.

MODE button

Pressing this button once can select your required mode as shown below.

(the corresponding icon " " will be lit up after the mode is selected):

AUTO >> COOL >> DRY >> FAN >> HEAT (Cool and Heat model only)

• When selecting AUTO, air conditioner will operate automatically

according to ambient temperature. Set temperature can't be adjusted

and won't be displayed either. Press FAN button to adjust fan speed.

• When selecting COOL, air conditioner will operate under cooling mode.

Then press + or - button to adjust set temperature. Press FAN button to

adjust fan speed.

• When selecting DRY, air conditioner will operate at low fan speed under

dry mode. In dry mode, fan speed can't be adjusted.

• When selecting FAN, air conditioner will operate in fan mode only. Then

press FAN button to adjust fan speed.

• When selecting HEAT, air conditioner will operate under heating mode.

Then press + or - button to adjust set temperature. Press FAN button to

adjust fan speed. (Cooling only unit can't receive heating mode signal. If

HEAT is selected by remote control, pressing ON/OFF button can't turn

on the air conditioner.)

+/- button

• Pressing + or - button once will increase or decrease set temperature

by 1°C. Hold + or - button for 2 seconds, set temperature on remote

controller will change quickly. Release the button after your required

set temperature is reached. (Temperature can't be adjusted under auto

mode)

• When setting Timer On or Timer O, press + or - button to adjust the

time. (See TIMER Button for setting details)

FAN button

• Pressing this button can select fan speed as: AUTO, SPEED 1 ( ), SPEED

2 ( ), SPEED 3 ( ), SPEED 4 ( ).

NOTE:

 Under Auto speed, air conditioner will select proper fan speed

automatically according to ambient temperature.

 Fan speed can't be adjusted under dry mode.

SWING button

Press this button to turn on up & down air swing.

SLEEP button

• Press sleep button to enter into sleep mode. If the controller operates

at cooling mode, after sleep mode is started up, preset temperature will

increase by 1°C within 1 hour; preset temperature will increase by 2°C

within 2 hours and then the unit will operate at this temperature until

turned o.

• Press sleep button to enter into sleep mode. If the controller operates at

heating mode (Cooling and Heating models only), after sleep mode is

started up, preset temperature will decrease by 1°C within 1 hour; preset

temperature will decrease by 2°C within 2 hours and then the unit will

operate at this temperature until turned o.

• Sleep function is only available for cooling mode and heating mode.

SLEEP function can be set together with OFF timer.

TIMER button

• When unit is on, press this button to set Timer O. T-OFF and H icon

will blink. Within 5s, press + or - button to adjust the time for Timer

O. Pressing + or - button once will increase or decrease the time by

0.5hours. Hold + or - button for 2 seconds, time will change quickly.

Release the button after your required set time is reached. Then press

TIMER button to conrm it. T-OFF and H icon will stop blinking.

• When unit is o, press this button to set Timer On. T-ON and H icon will

be blinking. Within 5 seconds, press + or - button to adjust the time for

Timer On. Pressing + or - button once will increase or decrease the time

by 0.5 hours. Hold + or - button for 2 seconds, time will change quickly.

Release the button after your required set time is reached. Then press

TIMER button to conrm it. T-ON and H icon will stop blinking.

• Canceling the timer function: If Timer function is set up, press TIMER

button once to review the remaining time. Within 5 seconds, press

TIMER button again to cancel this function.

• ON timer and OFF timer cannot be set together.

NOTE:

 Range of time setting is: 0.5~24 hours.

 The interval between two motions can't exceed 5 seconds, otherwise the

remote control will exit setting status.

Functions by Combination Buttons

Child lock function

Press "+" and "-" buttons simultaneously can turn on or turn o child lock

function. When child lock function is started up, child lock indicator on

remote controller is ON. If you operate the remote control, remote control

won't send signal.

This function works only for remote controller, the buttons on the unit

itself can not be locked.

Temperature display switchover function

Under OFF status, press "-" button and "MODE" button simultaneously can

switch between °C and °F.

Light function

You can turn o or turn on the light of the unit's control panel. Under

switch-on or switch-o status, point the remote control to the unit's signal

receiver and you may hold "+" and "FAN" buttons simultaneously for 3

seconds to set the light on or o.

Installation of batteries

1. Press and slide the back cover to open the battery compartment of the

remote control.

2. Insert two AAA (1,5 V) size batteries (included). Make sure the (+) and

(–) ends of the batteries match the (+) and (–) ends indicated in the

battery compartment.

3. Close the battery compartment cover.

NOTE:

During operation, point the remote control signal sender at the receiving

window on indoor unit.

 The distance between signal sender and receiving window should be no

more than 8 meters, and there should be no obstacles between them.

 Signal may be interfered easily in the room where there is uorescent

lighting or wireless telephone; in these situations, move the remote

control closer to the appliance for reliable operation.

 Replace new batteries of the same model when replacement is required.

 If you will not be using the unit for a long time, remove the batteries

from the remote control.

 If the display on remote control is fuzzy or there's no display, please

replace batteries.

Care and Maintenance

WARNING!

• Before cleaning the air conditioner, please turn o the unit and disconnect

power. This will ensure that the risk of an electric shock is eliminated.

• Do not wash air conditioner with water. This will ensure that the risk of an

electric shock is eliminated.

• Do not use volatile liquid (such as thinner or gas) to clean the air conditioner.

Otherwise, it may damage the surface.

• Do not use liquid or corrosive detergent clean the appliance and do not

splash water or other liquid onto it, otherwise,it may damage the plastic

components, or even cause electric shock.

Clean outer case and grille

Clean outer case:

If there's dust on the surface of outer case, please use soft cloth to wipe it.

If the outer case is very dirty (such as grease), please use neutral detergent

to wipe it.

Clean grille:

To clean the grille itself, use a soft brush.

Clean lter

(Do not touch the ns to prevent injury.)

1. Remove the lter

Press the clasp as shown in the gure, and then remove the lter;

2. Clean lter

Use a vacuum cleaner or water to clean the lter. If the lter is very

dirty (such as grease), use warm water 40°C with neutral detergent

dissolved to clean and then put at shady place to dry it.

3. Install lter

After the lter is cleaned and dried, ensure that it is reinstalled

correctly.

NOTE

 The lter should be cleaned about once every three months. If there is

a large amount of dust in the operation environment, you can increase

cleaning frequency.

 Do not dry the lter with a direct heat source or hair drier. Otherwise, it

may be deformed or catch re.

Clean heat discharge pipe

Remove the heat discharge pipe from air conditioner, clean and dry it,

and then reinstall it. (For the method of installation, please refer to the

instruction for "Installing heat discharge pipe".)

Checking before use-season

• Check whether air inlets and air outlets are blocked.

• Check whether plug and socket are in good condition.

• Check whether lter is clean.

• Check whether batteries are installed in remote control.

• Check whether joint, window bracket and heat discharge pipe are

installed rmly.

• Check whether heat discharge pipe is damaged.

Checking after use-season

1. Disconnect power supply.

2. Clean lter and outer case.

3. Remove dust and sundries on the air conditioner.

4. Eliminate accumulated water in chassis (refer to the section of

"Removing collected water" for details).

5. Check whether window bracket is damaged or not.

6. If yes, please contact the dealer.

Long-time storage

If you don't use the air conditioner for a long time, please maintain it by

following steps for good performance:

• Make sure that there is no accumulated water in chassis and the heat

discharge pipe is disassembled.

• Pull out the plug and wrap the power cord.

• Clean the air conditioner and pack it well to prevent dust.

Notice for recovery

• Some of the packing items are recyclable materials. Please deal with

them through your local recycling provider.

• If you want to dispose the air conditioner, please contact local authority

or consultant service center for the correct disposal method.

Troubleshooting

Before calling for service, please review the troubleshooting list below,

since the problem may not be a main unit malfunction.

Air conditioner can't operate

Cause / Action

• Power failure? / Wait after power recovery.

• Is plug loose? / Reinsert the plug.

• Whether the air switch is tripped o or fuse is burnt? / Ask professional

person to replace air switch or fuse.

• Is there malfunction for the circuit? / Ask professional person to replace

circuit.

• Whether the unit is restarted up after stopping immediately? / Wait for 3

minutes, and then turn on the unit again.

Water owing noise

Cause / Action

• Whether the unit is turned on or turned o just now? / There's owing

sound of refrigerant inside the air conditioner which is the normal

phenomenon.

Poor cooling (heating)

Cause / Action

• Is the power too low? / Wait after voltage is resumed.

• Whether the air lter is too dirty? / Clean the air lter.

• Has the correct temperature been set? / Adjust the temperature.

• Whether door and window are closed? / Close door and window.

Air conditioner can't receive signal from remote control or remote

control is not sensible.

Cause / Action

• Whether the unit is interfered seriously (such as static pressure, unstable

voltage)? / Please pull out the plug. Insert the plug after about 3minutes,

and then turn on the unit.

• Whether remote controller is within the receiving range? / The receiving

range of remote controller is 8meters . Do not exceed this range.

• Whether it's blocked by obstacles? / Remove the obstacles.

• Is sensitivity of remote controller low? / Check the batteries of remote

controller. If the power is low, please replace the batteries.

• Whether there's uorescence lamp in the room? / Move the remote

controller close to air conditioner. Turn o the uorescence lamp and

try it again.

Cracking noise

Cause / Action

• Whether the unit is turned on or turned o just now? / Heat expansion

1. Check if the unit is under high-temperature and high-humidity

environment; if ambient temperature is too high, power o the unit

and then energize it for operation after the ambient temperature drops

to 35°C below.

for operation.

Selection of installation location

Basic requirement

Installing the unit in the following places may cause malfunction. If it is

unavoidable, please consult your dealer for advice.

1. Locations with high temperature heat sources, vapors, ammable or

explosive gas, or volatile objects spread in the air.

2. Anywhere which has high-frequency devices installed (such as welding

machine, medical equipment).

3. Near to a coastal area.

4. Anywhere which has oil or fumes in the air.

5. Near to sulfureted gas.

6. Other places with special circumstances.

7. Do not install on unstable or motive base structure (such as truck) or in

a corrosive environment (such as chemical factory).

Requirement of air conditioner

1. Air inlet should be far away from obstacles and do not put any objects

near to the air outlet. Otherwise, it will aect the performance of heat

discharge pipe.

2. Select a location where the noise and outow air emitted by the unit

will not aect your local neighborhood.

3. Please try your best to keep far away from uorescent lamps.

4. Do not install this appliance in a laundry room.

5. Do not install near stairs or steps.

Requirements for electric connection

Safety precaution

1. You must follow the electric safety regulations when installing the unit.

2. Follow your local safety regulations and ensure that the correct

electrical supply is used.

3. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,

its service agent or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a

hazard.

4. Properly connect the live wire, neutral wire and grounding wire of

power socket.

5. Be sure to turn o the power supply before proceeding any work

related to electricity and safety.

6. Do not connect the power before nishing installation.

7. The air conditioner is a class 1 electric appliance and must be correctly

grounded. Please make sure it is always grounded eectively,

otherwise it may cause electric shock.

8. The yellow-green wire or green wire in air conditioner is grounding

wire, which can't be used for other purposes.

9. The grounding resistance should comply with your local electrical

safety regulations.

10. The appliance shall be installed in accordance with your countries

wiring regulations.

11. To be in compliance with IEC 61000-3-11, impedance value of power-

supply system connected to product must be less than or equal to the

Install Power Cord Hooks

Assemble the power cord hooks at the back of the unit with screws (the

direction of power cord hooks is as shown in following gure).

Wind the power cord around the power cord hooks.

Drain Water

• To reach the maximum performance, it is not recommended to drain

water, during Cooling mode.

• It is recommended to use the middle drainage port to drain water,

during Dry mode.

• It is recommended to use the middle drainage port to drain water,

during Heating mode.

• To drain water from the bottom drainage port when th edisplay shows

H8.

Drainage method

1 Drain water from the bottom drainage port.

• Turn o the unit and pull out the plug from the socket.

• Place a water container under the bottom drainage port, or move the

machine to a place where it can drain.

• Remove the rubber plug of the bottom drainage port to drain water.

• After draining, insert the rubber plug.

• Press ON/OFF button to restart.

2 Drain water from the middle drainage port.

NOTE

 Water can be automatically emptied into a oor drain by attaching

13mm inner diameter hose (not included).

1. Remove the continuous drain cap by turning it counter clockwise then

remove the rubber stopper from the spout.

2. Screw the drain connector to (included in the package) the spout by

turning clockwise.

3. Insert a 13 mm inner diameter hose (not included) onto drain

connector.

ATTENTION:

 When using continuous drainage option from the middle hole, place

the unit on a level surface and make sure drainage hose is clear of any

obstructions and is directed downward. Placing the unit on an uneven

surface or improper hose installation may result in water lling up the

chassis and causing the unit to shut o. Empty water in the chassis if

shut o occurs, then check the unit location and hose for proper setup.

Installing Heat Discharge Pipe

2. Insert joint A of heat discharge pipe into the groove until you hear a

clicking sound.

Leak detection methods

The following leak detection methods are deemed acceptable for all

refrigerant systems.

Electronic leak detectors may be used to detect refrigerant leaks but, in

the case of ammable refrigerants, the sensitivity may not be adequate,

or may need re-calibration. (Detection equipment shall be calibrated in a

refrigerant-free area.) Ensure that the detector is not a potential source of

ignition and is suitable for the refrigerant used. Leak detection equipment

shall be set at a percentage of the LFL of the refrigerant and shall be

calibrated to the refrigerant employed, and the appropriate percentage of

gas (25 % maximum) is conrmed.

Leak detection uids are suitable for use with most refrigerants but the

use of detergents containing chlorine shall be avoided as the chlorine may

react with the refrigerant and corrode the copper pipe-work.

If a leak is suspected, all naked ames shall be removed/extinguished.

If a leakage of refrigerant is found which requires brazing, all of the

refrigerant shall be recovered from the system, or isolated (by means of

shut o valves) in a part of the system remote from the leak. For appliances

containing ammable refrigerants, oxygen free nitrogen (OFN) shall then

be purged through the system both before and during the brazing process

Removal and evacuation

When breaking into the refrigerant circuit to make repairs – or for any other

purpose – conventional procedures shall be used. However, for ammable

refrigerants it is important that best practice is followed since ammability

is a consideration. The following procedure shall be adhered to:

• remove refrigerant;

• purge the circuit with inert gas;

• evacuate;

• purge again with inert gas;

• open the circuit by cutting or brazing.

The refrigerant charge shall be recovered into the correct recovery

cylinders. For appliances containing ammable refrigerants, the system

shall be “ushed” with OFN to render the unit safe. This process may need

to be repeated several times. Compressed air or oxygen shall not be used

for purging refrigerant systems.

For appliances containing ammable refrigerants, ushing shall be

achieved by breaking the vacuum in the system with OFN and continuing

to ll until the working pressure is achieved, then venting to atmosphere,

and nally pulling down to a vacuum.

This process shall be repeated until no refrigerant is within the system.

When the nal OFN charge is used, the system shall be vented down

to atmospheric pressure to enable work to take place. This operation is

absolutely vital if brazing operations on the pipe-work are to take place.

Ensure that the outlet of the vacuum pump is not close to any ignition

sources and that ventilation is available.

Charging procedures

In addition to conventional charging procedures, the following

requirements shall be followed.

• Ensure that contamination of dierent refrigerants does not occur when

using charging equipment. Hoses or lines shall be as short as possible to

minimise the amount of refrigerant contained in them.

• Cylinders shall be kept upright.

• Ensure that the refrigeration system is earthed prior to charging the

system with refrigerant.

• Label the system when charging is complete (if not already).

• Extreme care shall be taken not to overll the operefrigeration system.

Prior to recharging the system, it shall be pressure-tested with the

appropriate purging gas.

The system shall be leak-tested on completion of charging but prior to

commissioning. A follow up leak test shall be carried out prior to leaving

the site.

Decommissioning

Before carrying out this procedure, it is essential that the technician

is completely familiar with the equipment and all its detail. It is

recommended good practice that all refrigerants are recovered safely.

Prior to the task being carried out, an oil and refrigerant sample shall be

taken in case analysis is required prior to reuse of reclaimed refrigerant. It is

essential that electrical power is available before the task is commenced.

a. Become familiar with the equipment and its operation.

b. Isolate system electrically.

c. Before attempting the procedure, ensure that:

 mechanical handling equipment is available, if required, for handling

refrigerant cylinders;

 all personal protective equipment is available and being used

correctly;

 the recovery process is supervised at all times by a competent

person;

 recovery equipment and cylinders conform to the appropriate

standards.

d. Pump down refrigerant system, if possible.

e. If a vacuum is not possible, make a manifold so that refrigerant can be

removed from various parts of the system.

f. Make sure that cylinder is situated on the scales before recovery takes

place.

g. Start the recovery machine and operate in accordance with

manufacturer's instructions.

h. Do not overll cylinders. (No more than 80 % volume liquid charge).

i. Do not exceed the maximum working pressure of the cylinder, even

temporarily.

j. When the cylinders have been lled correctly and the process

completed, make sure that the cylinders and the equipment are

removed from site promptly and all isolation valves on the equipment

are closed o.

k. Recovered refrigerant shall not be charged into another refrigeration

system unless it has been cleaned and checked.

Labelling

Equipment shall be labelled stating that it has been decommissioned and

emptied of refrigerant. The label shall be dated and signed. For appliances

containing ammable refrigerants, ensure that there are labels on the

equipment stating the equipment contains ammable refrigerant.

Recovery

When removing refrigerant from a system, either for servicing or

decommissioning, it is recommended good practice that all refrigerants

are removed safely.

When transferring refrigerant into cylinders, ensure that only appropriate

refrigerant recovery cylinders are employed. Ensure that the correct

number of cylinders for holding the total system charge are available.

All cylinders to be used are designated for the recovered refrigerant

and labelled for that refrigerant (i.e. special cylinders for the recovery of

refrigerant). Cylinders shall be complete with pressure-relief valve and

associated shut-o valves in good working order. Empty recovery cylinders

are evacuated and, if possible, cooled before recovery occurs.

The recovery equipment shall be in good working order with a set of

instructions concerning the equipment that is at hand and shall be suitable

for the recovery of all appropriate refrigerants including, when applicable,

ammable refrigerants. In addition, a set of calibrated weighing scales

shall be available and in good working order. Hoses shall be complete

with leak-free disconnect couplings and in good condition. Before using

the recovery machine, check that it is in satisfactory working order, has

been properly maintained and that any associated electrical components

are sealed to prevent ignition in the event of a refrigerant release. Consult

manufacturer if in doubt.

The recovered refrigerant shall be returned to the refrigerant supplier

in the correct recovery cylinder, and the relevant waste transfer note

arranged. Do not mix refrigerants in recovery units and especially not in

cylinders.

If compressors or compressor oils are to be removed, ensure that they have

been evacuated to an acceptable level to make certain that ammable

refrigerant does not remain within the lubricant. The evacuation process

shall be carried out prior to returning the compressor to the suppliers. Only

electric heating to the compressor body shall be employed to accelerate

this process. When oil is drained from a system, it shall be carried out safely.

HINWEIS:

ein Geräusch. Anschließend können Sie die Klimaanlage über das

Bedienfeld bedienen.

 Ist das Gerät eingeschaltet, ertönt bei jedem Tastendruck ein Ton. Wird

eine Taste gedrückt, schaltet sich das zugehörige Licht ein oder aus.

 Wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet wird, schaltet sich auch die Anzeige

aus. Beim Einschalten zeigt das Anzeigefeld auf dem Bedienfeld die

eingestellte Temperatur im Kühl- und Heizmodus an (nur beim Modell

„Cool and Heat“).

• Das Gerät muss so aufgestellt werden, dass der Stecker jederzeit leicht

zugänglich ist.

• Dieses Klimagerät darf nur im häuslichen Bereich eingesetzt werden, es

ist nicht für den gewerblichen Bereich geeignet.

Auswahl des Einbauorts

Grundvoraussetzung

Wenn das Geräts an den folgenden Stellen installiert wird, können Fehl-

funktionen auftreten. Wenn sich dies nicht vermeiden lässt, wenden Sie

sich an Ihren Händler, um Rat zu erhalten.

1. Standorte mit hohen Temperaturen wie starken Hitzequellen,

Dämpfen, brennbaren oder explosiven Gasen, oder üchtigen Stoen

in der Luft.

2. Ein Standort mit installierten Hochfrequenzgeräten (wie etwa eine

Schweißmaschine, medizinische Geräte usw.).

3. In der Nähe eines Küstengebiets.

4. Ein Standort, bei dem Öl oder Rauch in der Luft ist.

Anforderung an die Klimaanlage

1. Der Lufteinlass sollte sich weit von Hindernissen entfernt benden und

Sie sollten keine Gegenstände in die Nähe des Luftauslasses. Ansons-

ten wirkt sich das negativ auf Leistung des Wärmeabfuhrrohrs aus.

2. Wählen Sie einen Standort, an dem Ihre Nachbarschaft nicht durch

Geräusche und die vom Gerät ausgestoßene Luft beeinträchtigt wird.

3. Bitte versuchen Sie, das Gerät von Fluoreszenzlampen fernzuhalten.

4. Installieren Sie dieses Gerät nicht in einer Waschküche.

Anforderungen an den elektrischen Anschluss

Schutzleitung und darf nicht anderweitig verwendet werden.

9. Der Erdungswiderstand muss den bei Ihnen geltenden nationalen

Installation der Netzkabelhaken

Montieren Sie die Netzkabelhaken mit Schrauben an der Rückseite des

Geräts (Sie sehen die Ausrichtung der Netzkabelhaken in der folgenden

Abbildung).

Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel um die Netzkabelhaken.

Wasser ablassen

• Damit das Gerät seine maximale Leistung erreicht, wird empfohlen, dass

Sie während des Kühlbetriebs kein Wasser ablassen.

• Es wird empfohlen, zum Ablassen von Wasser im Trockenmodus den

mittleren Ablassanschluss zu verwenden.

• Es wird empfohlen, zum Ablassen von Wasser im Heizmodus den mittle-

ren Ablassanschluss zu verwenden.

• Ableitung von Wasser aus dem unteren Ablassanschluss, wenn das

Display H8 anzeigt.

Methode zum Ablassen von Wasser

1 Wasser über die untere Ablassanschluss ablassen.

• Schalten Sie das Gerät aus und ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose.

• Stellen Sie einen Wasserbehälter unter den unteren Ablassanschluss

oder transportieren Sie das Gerät an einen Ort, an dem das Wasser

ablaufen kann.

• Entfernen Sie zum Ablassen des Wassers den Gummistopfen der unteren

Abussönung.

• Setzen Sie den Gummistopfen nach dem Wasserablassen wieder ein.

• Drücken Sie die Taste ON/OFF (EIN/AUS), um das Gerät wieder einzu-

schalten.

2 Wasser über den mittleren Ablassanschluss ablassen.

Die Wartungs- und Instandhaltungsrichtlinien des Herstellers müssen

jederzeit eingehalten werden.

Kontaktieren Sie im Zweifelsfall die technische Abteilung des Herstellers.

Folgenden Prüfungen müssen bei Anlagen durchgeführt werden, die

brennbare Kältemittel nutzen:

• Die tatsächliche Kältemittelfüllung entspricht der Raumgröße, in der die

Teile mit dem Kältemittel installiert werden;

• Die Lüftungsanlagen und -auslässe funktionieren ordnungsgemäß und

werden nicht blockiert;

• Wenn ein indirekter Kältekreis verwendet wird, muss der Sekundärkreis-

läuf auf das Vorhandensein von Kältemittel überprüft werden;

• Die Kennzeichnung der Geräte muss weiterhin sichtbar und lesbar sein.

Unleserliche Markierungen und Zeichen müssen korrigiert werden;

• Die Kältemittelleitungen oder -komponenten werden an einem Ort

installiert, an dem es unwahrscheinlich ist, dass sie einem Sto ausge-

setzt sind, der kältemittelhaltige Komponenten angreifen könnte, außer

die Komponenten sind aus Materialien hergestellt, die von Natur aus

korrosionsbeständig oder angemessen gegen eine solche Korrosion

geschützt sind.

Prüfungen an elektrischen Geräten

Die Reparatur und Wartung von elektrischen Bauteilen muss erste Sicher-

heitsprüfungen und Bauteil-Inspektionsverfahren umfassen. Wenn ein

Fehler vorliegt, der möglicherweise die Sicherheit beeinträchtigen könnte,

darf keine Stromversorgung an den Stromkreis angeschlossen werden,

bis dieser Fehler zufriedenstellend behoben ist. Wenn der Fehler nicht

augenblicklich behoben werden kann, der Betrieb aber fortgesetzt werden

muss, muss eine geeignete Übergangslösung angewendet werden. Dies

muss dem Eigentümer der Anlage gemeldet werden, damit alle Beteiligten

informiert werden.

Erste Sicherheitsprüfungen müssen Folgendes umfassen:

• Kondensatoren müssen entladen werden: Dies muss auf sichere Weise

erfolgen– zur Vermeidung einer möglichen Funkenbildung;

• Beim Befüllen, Wiederherstellen oder Spülen des Systems dürfen keine

spannungsführenden elektrischen Bauteile und Leitungen freigelegt

werden;

• Es muss eine durchgehende Erdung gewährleistet sein.

Reparaturen an abgedichteten Komponenten

Wenn Reparaturen an abgedichteten Bauteilen durchgeführt werden, müs-

sen Sie alle elektrischen Anschlüsse von den zu bearbeitenden Geräten

trennen, ehe Sie die abgedichteten Abdeckungenusw. entfernen. Wenn

die Geräte während der Wartung unbedingt mit Strom versorgt werden

müssen, muss an der kritischsten Stelle eine dauerhaft funktionierende

Art der Leckerkennung installiert werden, damit Sie vor einer potenziell

gefährlichen Situation gewarnt werden.

Sie müssen besonders darauf achten, dass das Gehäuse durch die Arbeiten

an den elektrischen Bauteilen nicht auf eine Weise verändert wird, die das

Schutzniveau beeinträchtigt. Dies umfasst Beschädigungen an Kabeln,

eine übermäßige Anzahl von Anschlüssen, nicht der Originalspezikation

entsprechende Klemmen, Beschädigungen an Dichtungen, falsche Monta-

ge von Verschraubungenusw.

• Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Gerät sicher montiert ist.

• Vergewissern Sie sich, dass sich Dichtungen oder Dichtungsmaterialien

nicht so verschlechtert haben, dass sie das Eindringen von brennbaren

Atmosphären nicht mehr unterbinden können. Ersatzteile müssen den

Herstellervorgaben entsprechen.

HINWEIS:

Die Nutzung von Silikondichtmasse kann die Eektivität einiger Arten von

Lecksuchgeräten beeinträchtigen. Eigensichere Komponenten müssen vor

den Arbeiten nicht isoliert werden.

Reparatur von eigensicheren Komponenten

Legen Sie keine permanenten induktiven oder kapazitiven Lasten an den

Stromkreis an, ohne sicherzustellen, dass diese die zulässige Spannung

und die zulässige Stromstärke für das benutzte Gerät nicht überschreiten.

In einer brennbaren Atmosphäre darf ausschließlich an eigensicheren

Bauteilen gearbeitet werden. Die Testvorrichtung muss den richtigen

Nennwert aufweisen.

Ersetzen Sie Bauteile nur durch Teile, die vom Hersteller zugelassen

wurden. Andere Teile können dazu führen, dass sich das Kältemittel in der

Atmosphäre bei einer Leckage entzündet.

Verkabelung

Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Verkabelung keinem Verschleiß, keiner

Korrosion, keinem übermäßigen Druck, keiner Vibrationen, keinen scharfen

Kanten und/oder keinen anderen schädlichen Umwelteinwirkungen

ausgesetzt ist. Bei der Prüfung müssen auch Einüsse wie Alterung oder

ständige Schwingungen von Quellen wie Kompressoren oder Ventilatoren

berücksichtigt werden.

Erkennung von brennbaren Kältemitteln

Keinesfalls dürfen bei der Suche nach oder der Erkennung von Kälte-

mittelleckagen potenzielle Zündquellen genutzt werden. Es darf kein

Halogenidbrenner (und kein anderer Detektor mit oener Flamme)

verwendet werden.

Methoden zur Leckerkennung

Folgende Leckerkennungsmethoden gelten bei allen Systemen mit

Kältemitteln als zulässig.

Zum Aufspüren von Kältemittelleckagen können elektronische Leck-

suchgeräte benutzt werden, aber bei brennbaren Kältemitteln reicht die

Empndlichkeit vielleicht nicht aus oder es könnte eine Neukalibrierung

erforderlich sein. (Detektionsausrüstung muss in einem kältemittelfreien

Bereich kalibriert werden). Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Detektor keine

potenzielle Zündquelle darstellt und sich für das verwendete Kältemittel

eignet. Die Lecksuchgeräte müssen auf einen Prozentsatz des LFL (Lower

Flammable Limit– untere Explosionsgrenze) des Kältemittels eingestellt

und entsprechend dem benutzen Kältemittel kalibriert werden, und der

entsprechende Gasanteil (maximal 25 %) ist bestätigt.

Flüssigkeiten für die Leckerkennung eigen sich für die meisten Kältemittel,

aber es dürfen keine chlorhaltigen Reinigungsmittel verwendet werden,

weil das Chlor mit dem Kältemittel reagieren kann, wodurch die Kupferroh-

re korrodieren könnten.

Bei einem möglichen Leck sind alle oenen Flammen zu entfernen/zu

löschen.

Wenn eine Kältemittelleckage erkannt wird, bei der gelötet werden muss,

muss das ganze Kältemittel aus dem System entfernt werden– oder das

ganze Kältemittel muss (mittels Absperrventilen) in einem vom Leck

entfernten Teil des Systems isoliert werden. Bei Geräten mit brennbaren

Kältemitteln muss vor und während des gesamten Lötvorgangs hindurch

sauerstofreier Sticksto (OFN– Oxygen Free Nitrogen) durch das System

gespült werden.

Entnahme und Evakuierung

Wenn für Reparaturen oder für andere Zwecke in den Kältemittelkreislauf

eingegrien werden muss, sollten konventionelle Verfahrensweisen ange-

wendet werden. Es ist bei brennbaren Kältemitteln jedoch entscheidend,

dass die beste Vorgehensweise befolgt wird, da die Entammbarkeit

berücksichtigt werden muss. Das folgende Verfahren muss eingehalten

werden:

• Kältemittel entfernen;

• den Kreislauf mit Schutzgas spülen;

• evakuieren;

• erneut mit Schutzgas spülen;

• den Kreislauf durch Schneiden oder Löten önen.

Die Kältemittelfüllung muss in die richtigen Rückgewinnungsgasasche

zurückgeführt werden. Bei Geräten mit brennbaren Kältemitteln muss

das System mit sauerstofreiem Sticksto (OFN– Oxygen Free Nitrogen)

gespült werden, damit das Gerät sicher ist. Dieser Vorgang muss vielleicht

mehrere Male wiederholt werden. Zur Entleerung der Kältemittelsysteme

dürfen weder Druckluft noch Sauersto genutzt werden.

Bei Geräten mit brennbaren Kältemitteln sollte die Spülung erfolgen,

indem das Vakuum im System mit sauerstofreiem Sticksto (OFN– Oxy-

El tubo de descarga se puede instalar en función de los requisitos del

usuario. La instalación que se ilustra debajo debe evitarse, ya que podría

dar lugar a escapes no uniformes.

• Si la longitud del tubo de descarga de calor es inferior a un metro, se

recomienda utilizar un tubo de la menor longitud posible.

• Al instalar el tubo debe disponerse de la forma más recta posible. No am-

plíe la longitud del tubo ni lo conecte a otro tubo de descarga de calor.

Prueba de funcionamiento

• Conecte el aparato a la alimentación y pulse el botón de apagado/en-

cendido del mando a distancia para encender la unidad.

• Pulse el botón de modo para seleccionar la función automático, frío,

secado, ventilador o calor, y compruebe que la unidad funciona con

normalidad.

• Si la temperatura se sitúa por debajo de 16°C, la unidad no puede

funcionar en modo de frío.

Requisitos relacionados con las competencias del

personal de mantenimiento (las reparaciones solo

deben ser realizadas por especialistas).

1. Cualquier persona involucrada en el trabajo o acceso al circuito del

refrigerante debe contar con una certicación actual válida emitida por

una autoridad de evaluación acreditada, que autorice su competencia

para manipular refrigerantes de forma segura de acuerdo con una

especicación de evaluación sectorial reconocida.

2. Las tareas de servicio solo deben llevarse a cabo siguiendo las

recomendaciones del fabricante del equipo. Los trabajos de mante-

nimiento y reparación que requieran la intervención de otro personal

cualicado deben llevarse a cabo bajo la supervisión de una persona

especializada en el uso de refrigerantes inamables.

Antes de empezar a trabajar en sistemas que contenga refrigerantes ina-

mables, se requiere la realización de comprobaciones de seguridad para

evitar al máximo el riesgo de ignición. Para obtener detalles del sistema de

refrigeración, se deben seguir las precauciones indicadas a continuación al

trabajar en el sistema.

Procedimiento de trabajo

El trabajo se debe llevar a cabo aplicando un procedimiento controlado a

n de minimizar el riesgo asociado a la presencia de gases inamables o

vapor mientras se trabaja.

Área general de trabajo

Todo el personal de mantenimiento y otras personas que trabajen en el

área deben ser informadas de la naturaleza del trabajo que se está llevando

a cabo. Se debe evitar el trabajo en espacios connados. Se debe delimitar

el área alrededor del espacio de trabajo. Asegúrese de que las condiciones

dentro del área son seguras mediante el control del material inamable.

Vericación de presencia de refrigerante

El área debe comprobarse con un detector de refrigerante adecuado antes

y durante el trabajo para garantizar que el técnico es consciente de entor-

nos potencialmente tóxicos o inamables. Asegúrese de utilizar equipos de

detección de fugas adecuados con todos los refrigerantes aplicables, por

ejemplo, que no emitan chispas, que estén adecuadamente sellados o que

sean intrínsecamente seguros.

Presencia de un extintor de incendios

Si se van a llevar a cabo trabajos con fuentes de calor en el equipo de refri-

geración o cualquier parte asociada, deben existir equipos de extinción de

incendios adecuados a mano. Mantenga un extintor de incendios de CO2 o

de espuma en las inmediaciones del área de carga.

Evitar las fuentes de ignición

Ninguna persona que lleve a cabo trabajos relacionados con el sistema

de refrigeración que impliquen exposición a cualquier trabajo con tubería

debe utilizar fuentes de ignición que de alguna manera puedan dar lugar

al riesgo de fuego o explosión.

Todas las posibles fuentes de ignición, incluido el humo de cigarrillos,

deben mantenerse lo sucientemente lejos del lugar de instalación, repa-

ración, retirada y eliminación, durante las tareas en las que el refrigerante

pueda liberarse al espacio circundante. Antes de realizar trabajos, debe re-

visarse el área alrededor del equipo para garantizar que no existen peligros

de incendio ni ignición. Se deben disponer señales de Prohibido fumar.

Área ventilada

Asegúrese de que el área está abierta o de que está adecuadamente

ventilada antes acceder al equipo o realizar trabajos con fuentes de calor.

Se debe mantener la ventilación durante el periodo en el que se lleve a

cabo el trabajo. La ventilación debe dispersar de forma segura cualquier

refrigerante liberado y expulsarlo preferentemente hacia el exterior.

Vericaciones del equipo de refrigeración

Cuando resulte necesario cambiar los componentes eléctricos, deben ser

adecuados para su n y debe ser de la especicación correcta. Se deben

seguir en todo momento las directrices de mantenimiento y servicio del

fabricante.

Si tiene dudas, diríjase al departamento técnico del fabricante para recabar

ayuda.

Le réfrigérant

• Pour réaliser la fonction du climatiseur, un réfrigérant spécial circule dans

le système. Le réfrigérant utilisé est le uorure R290, qui a été spéciale-

ment nettoyé avant d'être installé dans le système de réfrigération. Le

réfrigérant est inammable et inodore. De plus, cela peut conduire à une

explosion dans certaines conditions.

• Comparé aux réfrigérants courants, le R290 est un réfrigérant non pol-

luant sans danger pour l’ozonosphère. L’inuence sur l’eet de serre est

également plus faible. Le R290 possède de très bonnes caractéristiques

thermodynamiques qui conduisent à une ecacité énergétique très

élevée. Les appareils ont ainsi besoin d’un remplissage moins important.

Avertissement:

• Appareil rempli de gaz inammable R290.

• Il est recommandé d'installer, de faire fonctionner et de stocker l'appareil

dans une pièce dont la surface au sol est supérieure à 11 m².

• L’appareil doit être rangé dans une pièce sans sources d’inammation

fonctionnant en continu. (par exemple: des ammes nues, un appareil à

gaz en fonctionnement ou un radiateur électrique en fonctionnement.)

• L’appareil doit être rangé dans un endroit bien ventilé où la taille de la

pièce correspond à la surface de la pièce telle que spéciée pour son

fonctionnement.

• L’appareil doit être rangé de manière à éviter tout dommage mécanique.

• Les conduits raccordés à un appareil ne doivent pas contenir de source

d’inammation.

• Maintenez les ouvertures de ventilation requises exemptes de toute

obstruction.

• Ne pas percer ni brûler.

Nettoyer le boîtier et la grille extérieure

Nettoyer le boîtier extérieur:

S’il y a de la poussière sur la surface du boîtier extérieur, veuillez utiliser un

chion doux pour l’essuyer.

Si le boîtier extérieur est très sale (comme de la graisse), veuillez utiliser un

détergeant neutre

pour l'essuyer.

Nettoyer la grille:

Pour nettoyer la grille elle-même, utilisez une brosse douce.

Nettoyer le ltre

(Ne pas toucher les nervures pour prévenir les blessures.)

1. Retirer le ltre

Appuyez sur le loquet comme indiqué sur la gure, puis retirez le ltre ;

2. Nettoyer le ltre

Utilisez un aspirateur ou de l’eau pour nettoyer le ltre. Utilisez un

nettoyant ou de l’eau pour nettoyer le ltre si le ltre est très sale (par

exemple avec de la graisse), utilisez de l’eau tiède à 40°C avec un déter-

geant neutre pour le nettoyer, puis placez-le à l’ombre pour le sécher.

3. Installer le ltre

Une fois le ltre nettoyé et séché, assurez-vous qu'il est correctement

réinstallé.

REMARQUE

 Le ltre doit être nettoyé environ une fois tous les trois mois. S’il y a

beaucoup de poussière dans le lieu concerné, vous pouvez augmenter la

fréquence de nettoyage.

 Ne séchez pas le ltre avec une source de chaleur directe ou un

sèche-cheveux. Sinon, il pourrait se déformer ou prendre feu.

Nettoyer le tuyau d’évacuation de la chaleur

Retirez le tuyau d’évacuation de la chaleur du climatiseur, nettoyez-le et

séchez-le, puis réinstallez-le. (Pour la méthode d’installation, veuillez vous

référer aux instructions pour «l’installation du tuyau d’évacuation de la

chaleur»).

Vérication avant la saison d’utilisation

• Vériez si les entrées et l'évacuation d’air sont bloquées.

• Vériez si la che et la prise sont en bon état.

• Vériez si le ltre est propre.

• Vériez si les piles sont installées dans la télécommande.

• Vériez si le joint, le support de fenêtre et le tuyau d’évacuation de la

chaleur sont fermement installés.

• Vériez si le tuyau d’évacuation de la chaleur est endommagé.

Vérication après la saison d’utilisation

1. Débranchez l’alimentation.

2. Nettoyez le ltre et le boîtier extérieur.

3. Retirez la poussière et les articles divers sur le climatiseur.

4. Éliminez l'eau accumulée dans le châssis (voir la section « Élimination

de l’eau collectée » pour plus de détails).

5. Vériez si le support de fenêtre est endommagé ou non.

6. Si oui, contactez le revendeur.

Rangement prolongé

Si vous n’utilisez pas le climatiseur pendant une période prolongée, veuil-

lez le conserver en suivant les étapes pour de bonnes performances:

• Assurez-vous qu'il n'y a pas d'eau accumulée dans le châssis et que le

tuyau d'évacuation de la chaleur est démonté.

• Retirez la che et enroulez le cordon d’alimentation.

• Nettoyez le climatiseur et emballez-le bien pour éviter la poussière.

Note pour la récupération

• Certains des éléments d'emballage sont des matériaux recyclables.

Jetez-les conformément auprès de votre centre de recyclage local.

• Si vous souhaitez jeter le climatiseur, veuillez contacter l'autorité locale

ou le centre de service de consultants pour la méthode d’élimination

correcte.

Dépannage

Avant d’appeler le service après-vente, veuillez vous référer au tableau de

dépannage ci-dessous, le problème pouvant ne pas être lié à une panne.

Le climatiseur ne fonctionne pas

Cause / Action

• Panne de courant? / Attendez le rétablissement du courant.

• Prise mal branchée? / Réinsérez la prise.

• Est-ce qu'un interrupteur est désactivé ou qu'un fusible a sauté? /

Demandez à une personne professionnelle de remplacer l'interrupteur

ou fusible.

• Endommagement du circuit? / Demandez à une personne profession-

nelle de remplacer le circuit.

• Redémarrez-vous l'appareil immédiatement après arrêt? / Attendez

3min, puis allumez l'appareil à nouveau.

Bruit d'eau qui coule

• Est-ce que vous venez d'allumer ou d'éteindre l'appareil? / Il y a un bruit

d'écoulement de réfrigérant à l'intérieur du climatiseur, ce qui est un

phénomène normal.

Faible refroidissement (chauage)

Le climatiseur ne peut pas recevoir de signal de la télécommande ou la

télécommande n’est pas réceptive.

allumez l'appareil.

• La télécommande se trouve-t-elle dans la plage de réception? / La plage

• Le signal est-il bloqué par des obstacles? / Retirez les obstacles.

Installer un tuyau d’évacuation de chaleur

1. Pivotez le joint A et la xation arrière dans le sens horaire sur les deux

extrémités du tuyau d'évacuation de la chaleur.

Remarque sur l'installation d'un tuyau d’évacuation de chaleur

An d'améliorer l'ecacité du refroidissement, le tuyau d'évacuation de

la chaleur doit être aussi court que possible et plat, sans courbure, pour

assurer une évacuation régulière de la chaleur.

Le tuyau d'évacuation est prévu pour être installé selon l'illustration

ci-dessous.

Le tuyau d'évacuation peut être installé selon les besoins de l'utilisateur,

mais la forme d'installation illustrée ci-dessous doit être évitée, car elle

peut entraîner un échappement non uniforme.

• Si la longueur de la conduite d'évacuation de chaleur est inférieure à

1m. Il est recommandé de l’utiliser avec la longueur la plus courte.

• Lors de l'installation, le tuyau d'évacuation de la chaleur doit être aussi

plat que possible. N'allongez pas le tuyau et ne le connectez pas à un

autre tuyau d’évacuation de chaleur.

Test de fonctionnement

• Branchez l'alimentation, puis appuyez sur le bouton ON/OFF de la

télécommande pour allumer l'appareil.

• Appuyez sur le bouton de mode pour sélectionner automatique,

refroidissement, sec, ventilateur ou chauage, puis vériez si l'appareil

fonctionne normalement.

• Si la température ambiante est inférieure à 16°C, l’appareil ne peut pas

fonctionner en mode refroidissement.

Procédures de chargement

En plus des procédures conventionnelles de chargement, les exigences

suivantes devront être respectées.

• Assurez-vous que la contamination des diérents réfrigérants ne se

produit pas lors de l’utilisation de l’équipement de charge. Les tuyaux

ou conduites doivent être aussi courts que possible pour minimiser la

quantité de réfrigérant qu’ils contiennent.

• Les cylindres doivent être maintenus en position verticale.

• Assurez-vous que le système de réfrigération est mis à la terre avant de

charger le système avec du réfrigérant.

• Étiquetez le système lorsque le chargement est terminé (si ce n’est déjà

fait).

• Un soin extrême devra être pris pour ne pas trop remplir le système de

réfrigération.

Avant de recharger le système, il devra être testé sous pression avec le gaz

de purge approprié.

Le système devra être testé contre les fuites à la n du chargement mais

avant la mise en service. Un test de suivi des fuites devra être eectué

avant de quitter le site.

Mise hors service

Avant d'eectuer cette procédure, il est essentiel que le technicien soit

familier avec l'équipement et tous ses détails. Il est recommandé de

récupérer tous les uides frigorigènes en toute sécurité. Avant d'eectuer

la tâche, des échantillons d'huile et de réfrigérant doivent être pris au cas

où une analyse de cas serait nécessaire avant la réutilisation du réfrigérant

récupéré. Il est essentiel que l’alimentation électrique soit disponible avant

de commencer la tâche.

a. Familiarisez-vous avec l’équipement et son fonctionnement.

b. Isolez le système électriquement.

c. Avant de tenter la procédure, assurez-vous que:

 Un équipement de manutention mécanique est disponible, si néces-

saire, pour la manipulation des bouteilles de réfrigérant;

 Tous les équipements de protection individuelle sont disponibles et

utilisés correctement;

 Le processus de récupération est supervisé à tout moment par une

personne compétente;

 L'équipement de récupération et les bouteilles sont conformes aux

normes appropriées.

d. Pompez le système de réfrigérant, si possible.

e. Si le vide n'est pas possible, créez un collecteur an que le réfrigérant

puisse être éliminé des diverses parties du système.

f. Assurez-vous que le cylindre est situé sur la balance avant la récupé-

ration.

g. Démarrez la machine de récupération et utilisez-la conformément aux

instructions du fabricant.

h. Ne remplissez pas trop les cylindres. (Pas plus de 80% de volume de

chargement liquide).

i. Ne dépassez pas la pression de service maximale du cylindre, même

temporairement.

j. Une fois les bouteilles correctement remplies et le processus terminé,

assurez-vous que les bouteilles et l’équipement sont retirés du site

rapidement et que toutes les vannes d’isolement de l’équipement sont

fermées.

k. Le réfrigérant récupéré ne doit pas être chargé dans un autre système

de réfrigération à moins qu’il n’ait été nettoyé et vérié.

Étiquetage

L'équipement doit être étiqueté en indiquant qu'il a été déclassé et vidé de

réfrigérant. L’étiquette doit être datée et signée. Pour les appareils conte-

nant des réfrigérants inammables, assurez-vous qu'il y a des étiquettes

sur l'équipement indiquant que l'équipement contient un réfrigérant

inammable.

Récupération

Lorsque vous retirez du réfrigérant d'un système, que ce soit pour

l'entretien ou la mise hors service, il est recommandé de retirer tous les

réfrigérants de manière sûre.

Lors du transfert de réfrigérant dans des bouteilles, veillez à n'utiliser que

des bouteilles de récupération de réfrigérant appropriées. Assurez-vous

que le nombre correct de bouteilles permettant de contenir la charge

totale du système est disponible. Tous les cylindres à utiliser sont désignés

pour le réfrigérant récupéré et étiquetés pour que ce réfrigérant (Ayez

des cylindres spéciaux pour la récupération du réfrigérant). Les bouteilles

doivent comporter une soupape de surpression et les vannes d'arrêt

correspondantes en bon état de fonctionnement. Les cylindres de récupé-

ration vides sont évacués et, si possible, refroidis avant la récupération.

L’appareil de récupération doit être en bon état de marche avec un

ensemble d’instructions concernant l’appareil à portée de main et doit être

adapté à la récupération de tous les réfrigérants appropriés, y compris, le

cas échéant, les réfrigérants inammables. En outre, un ensemble de ba-

lances étalonnées doit être disponible et en bon état de fonctionnement.

Les tuyaux doivent être complets avec des raccords de débranchement

sans fuite et en bon état. Avant d’utiliser la machine de récupération, véri-

ez qu’elle est en bon état de fonctionnement, qu’elle a été correctement

entretenue et que tous les composants électriques associés sont scellés

pour empêcher l’inammation en cas de fuite de réfrigérant. Consulter le

fabricant en cas de doute.

Le réfrigérant récupéré doit être renvoyé au fournisseur de uide frigori-

gène dans la bouteille de récupération appropriée, et l'avis de transfert de

déchets correspondant doit être mis en place. Ne mélangez pas les réfrigé-

rants dans les unités de récupération et en particulier dans les bouteilles.

Si des compresseurs ou des huiles de compresseur doivent être retirés, as-

surez-vous qu’ils ont été évacués à un niveau acceptable pour vous assurer

que le réfrigérant inammable ne reste pas dans le lubriant. Le processus

d'évacuation doit être eectué avant de retourner le compresseur aux four-

nisseurs. Seul un chauage électrique du corps du compresseur doit être

utilisé pour accélérer ce processus. Lorsque l'huile est purgée d'un système,

cela doit être eectué en toute sécurité.

• Se il cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato, deve essere portato al

rivenditore per la riparazione o la sostituzione per prevenire l'insorgere

Non viene emessa aria dal condizionatore d'aria

Causa / Azione

• L'ingresso o lo sbocco dell'aria sono ostruiti? / Elimina gli ostacoli.

• In modalità di riscaldamento, la temperatura interna aumenta la tempe-

ratura impostata? (solo modelli con Rareddamento e Riscaldamento) /

L'unità smetterà di emettere aria tramite la ventola dopo aver raggiunto

la temperatura impostata.

• La modalità di riscaldamento è stata appena avviata? (solo modelli

con Rareddamento e Riscaldamento) / Per prevenire l'aria fredda, il

condizionatore d'aria ritarderà l'avvio per un po' di tempo: si tratta di un

comportamento normale.

• L'evaporatore è stato sbrinato? (Conferma tirando fuori il ltro.) / Questo

fenomeno è normale. Il condizionatore d'aria si sta sbrinando. Dopo che

lo sbrinamento è completato, riprenderà a funzionare.

La temperatura impostata non può essere regolata

1. Controlla se l'unità è in un ambiente ad alta temperatura e alta umidità;

se la temperatura ambientale è troppo alta, spegni l'unità e poi riaccen-

dila dopo che la temperatura ambientale scende sotto i 35°C.

2. Controlla se l'evaporatore e il condensatore sono bloccati da oggetti;

se sì, rimuovi gli oggetti, spegni l'unità e poi riaccendila per l'utilizzo.

3. Se il malfunzionamento si verica ancora, contatta il centro assistenza.

1. Rimuovi tutta l'acqua all'interno dell'involucro.

2. Se viene mostrato ancora l'errore "H8", contatta il rivenditore per

eseguire la manutenzione dell'unità.

• Se il condizionatore funziona in condizioni non normali, può vericarsi un

malfunzionamento, scosse elettriche o rischio di incendio.

Precauzioni di installazione

ATTENZIONE!

• Osserva tutti i codici e le ordinanze applicabili.

• Non usare cavi di alimentazione danneggiati o non standard.

• Fa' attenzione durante l'installazione e la manutenzione. Evita qualsiasi

utilizzo non corretto per prevenire scosse elettrice, lesioni e altri incidenti.

Selezione della posizione dell'installazione

Requisiti di base

Installare l'unità nei seguenti luoghi potrebbe causare malfunzionamento.

Se questo è inevitabile, consulta il fornitore locale.

1. Nel luogo scelto ci sono grandi fonti di calore, vapori, gas inammabili

o esplosivi o oggetti volatili nell'aria.

2. Nel luogo ci sono apparecchi ad alta frequenza (come saldatrici ed

equipaggiamenti medici).

3. Il luogo è vicino a un'area costiera.

4. Il luogo presenta oli o fumi nell'aria.

5. Il luogo è vicino a gas sulfurei.

6. Altri luoghi che presentino situazioni particolari.

7. Non installare su una struttura di base instabile o mobile (come in un

furgone) o in un ambiente corrosivo (come in una fabbrica chimica).

Requisiti del condizionatore d'aria

1. L'ingresso dell'aria dovrebbe essere lontano da ostacoli e bisogna

evitare di posizionare oggetti vicino all'ingresso dell'aria. Altrimenti, le

prestazioni del tubo di scarico del calore subiranno ripercussioni.

2. Seleziona un luogo in cui il rumore e l'uscita dell'aria emessi dall'unità

non diano fastidio al vicinato.

3. Cerca di fare il possibile per non avere lampade uorescenti nelle

vicinanze.

4. Non installare questo apparecchio in una lavanderia.

5. Non installare vicino a scale o gradini.

Requisiti per il collegamento elettrico

Precauzioni di sicurezza

1. Devi seguire le norme di sicurezza elettrica quando viene installata

l'unità.

2. Segui le regole di sicurezza locali e assicurati di usare la corretta

alimentazione di corrente.

3. Se il cavo elettrico è rovinato, deve essere sostituito dal produttore,

un suo agente di servizio, o da una persona similmente qualicata, in

modo da evitare rischi.

4. Collegate correttamente il cavo sotto tensione, il cavo di neutro e la

messa a terra della presa di corrente.

5. Assicurati di spegnere la corrente prima di procedere con qualunque

lavoro correlato all'elettricità e alla sicurezza.

6. Non accendere prima di aver terminato l'installazione.

7. Il condizionatore d'aria è un apparecchio elettrico di classe 1 e deve

essere messo a terra in maniera corretta. Assicurati che la messa a terra

sia stata eettuata in maniera ecace, altrimenti potrebbero vericarsi

scosse elettriche.

Installare il tubo di scarico del calore

1. Ruota la giuntura A e la chiusura posteriore in senso orario nelle due

estremità del tubo di scarico del calore.

2. Inserisci la giuntura A del tubo di scarico del calore nel solco nché non

senti il suono di uno scatto.

3. Porta il tubo di scarico del calore fuori.

Nota sull'installazione del tubo di scarico del calore

Al ne di migliorare l'ecienza del rareddamento, il tubo di scarico del

calore dovrebbe essere il più corto possibile e diritto, senza curve, per

assicurare uno scarico senza ostacoli.

Si consiglia di installare il tubo di scarico secondo la gura di seguito.

Il tubo di scarico può essere installato in base ai requisiti dell'utente, men-

tre la forma di installazione mostrata di seguito andrebbe evitata in quanto

potrebbe provocare uno scarico non uniforme.

• Se la lunghezza del tubo di scarico del calore è inferiore a 1 metro. Si

raccomanda di usarlo con la lunghezza minore.

• Al momento dell'installazione, il tubo di scarico del calore dovrebbe

essere più diritto possibile. Non allungare il tubo né connetterlo a un

altro tubo di scarico.

Test di funzionamento

• Connetti l'alimentazione e poi premi il pulsante ON/OFF sul telecoman-

do per avviare l'unità.

• Premi il pulsante modalità per selezionare la funzione auto, raredda-

mento, asciugatura, ventola o riscaldamento, e poi controlla se l'unità

funziona normalmente.

• Se la temperatura ambientale è inferiore a 16°C, l'unità non può funzio-

nare in modalità di rareddamento.

• Quando selecionar SECO, o ar condicionado irá funcionar com uma

velocidade baixa da ventoinha no modo seco. No modo seco não se

pode ajustar a velocidade da ventoinha.

• Quando selecionar VENTOINHA, o ar condicionado irá funcionar apenas

no modo de ventoinha. Depois carregue no botão FAN para ajustar a

velocidade da ventoinha.

• Quando selecionar QUENTE, o ar condicionado irá funcionar no modo

de aquecimento. Depois carregue no botão + ou - para ajustar a

temperatura denida. Carregue no botão VENTOINHA para ajustar a

velocidade da ventoinha. (A unidade só de arrefecimento não consegue

receber o sinal do modo de aquecimento. Se for selecionado QUENTE

com o telecomando, carregar no botão ON/OFF não irá ligar o ar

condicionado.)

Botão +/-

• Ao carregar no botão + ou - uma vez irá aumentar ou diminuir a tempe-

ratura denida em 1°C. Mantenha o botão + ou - durante 2 segundos e

a temperatura no telecomando irá mudar rapidamente. Solte o botão

depois de alcançar a temperatura desejada. (A temperatura não pode ser

ajustada no modo automático)

• Quando denir o temporizador de ligar ou o temporizador de desligar,

carregue no botão + ou - para ajustar a hora. (Veja o botão TIMER para

detalhes de denição)

Botão FAN (ventoinha)

• Ao carregar neste botão pode selecionar a velocidade da ventoinha

do seguinte modo: AUTO, VELOCIDADE 1 ( ), VELOCIDADE 2 ( ),

VELOCIDADE 3 ( ), VELOCIDADE 4 ( ).

NOTA:

 Com a velocidade automática, o ar condicionado irá selecionar a velo-

cidade adequada da ventoinha de forma automática, de acordo com a

temperatura ambiente.

 A velocidade da ventoinha não pode ser ajustada no modo seco.

Botão SWING (girar)

Carregue neste botão para girar o ar para cima e para baixo.

Botão SLEEP (dormir)

• Carregue no botão de dormir para entrar no modo de dormir. Se o

telecomando funcionar no modo de arrefecimento, depois de iniciar

o modo de dormir, a temperatura predenida irá aumentar 1°C em 1

hora; a temperatura predenida irá aumentar 2°C em 2 horas e depois a

unidade irá funcionar com esta temperatura até se desligar.

• Carregue no botão de dormir para entrar no modo de dormir. Se o

telecomando funcionar no modo de aquecimento (apenas modelos

de arrefecimento e aquecimento), depois de iniciar o modo de dormir,

a temperatura predenida irá diminuir 1°C em 1 hora; a temperatura

predenida irá diminuir 2°C em 2 horas e depois a unidade irá funcionar

com esta temperatura até se desligar.

• A função de dormir só se encontra disponível no modo de arrefecimento

e no modo de aquecimento. A função de DORMIR pode ser denida em

conjunto com o temporizador de desligar.

Botão TIMER

• Com a unidade ligada, carregue neste botão para denir o temporizador

de desligar. A indicação T-OFF e o ícone H irão piscar. Em 5s carregue no

botão + ou - para acertar a hora do temporizador de desligar. Carregue

uma vez no botão + ou - para aumentar ou diminuir o tempo em 0,5ho-

ras. Mantenha o botão + ou - durante 2 segundos, a hora irá mudar

rapidamente. Solte o botão quando chegar à hora desejada. Depois

carregue no botão TIMER para a conrmar. A indicação T-OFF e o ícone

H deixarão de piscar.

• Com a unidade desligada, carregue neste botão para denir o

temporizador de ligar. A indicação T-ON e o ícone H irão piscar. Em 5s

carregue no botão + ou - para acertar a hora do temporizador de ligar.

Carregue uma vez no botão + ou - para aumentar ou diminuir o tempo

em 0,5horas. Mantenha o botão + ou - durante 2 segundos, a hora irá

mudar rapidamente. Solte o botão quando chegar à hora desejada.

Depois carregue no botão TIMER para a conrmar. A indicação T-ON e o

ícone H deixarão de piscar.

• Cancelar a função do temporizador: Se a função do temporizador estiver

denida, carregue uma vez no botão TIMER para ver o tempo restante.

Em 5 segundos, carregue novamente no botão TIMER para cancelar

esta função.

• O temporizador de ligar e temporizador de desligar não podem ser

denidos em simultâneo.

NOTA:

 O alcance da hora denida é: 0.5~24 horas.

 O intervalo entre dois movimentos não pode ultrapassar os 5 segundos.

Caso contrário, o telecomando irá sair das denições.

Funções de botões combinados

Função de bloqueio de crianças

Ao carregar em simultâneo nos botões "+" e "-" pode ligar ou desligar a

função de bloqueio de crianças. Quando se inicia a função de bloqueio de

crianças, o indicador de bloqueio de crianças liga-se no telecomando. Se

usar o telecomando, este não enviará nenhum sinal.

Esta função funciona apenas no telecomando. Os botões da própria unida-

de não podem ser bloqueados.

Função de transição do mostrador da temperatura

No estado desligado, carregue no botão "-" e no botão "MODE" em simul-

tâneo para alternar entre °C e °F.

Função de luz

Pode desligar ou ligar a luz no painel de controlo da unidade. No estado de

ligar ou desligar, aponte o telecomando para o recetor do sinal da unidade

e pode manter os botões "+" e "FAN" em simultâneo durante 3 segundos

para ligar ou desligar a luz.

Instalação das pilhas

1. Pressione e deslize a tampa de trás para abrir o compartimento das

pilhas do telecomando.

2. Insira duas pilhas de tamanho AAA (1,5 V) (incluídas). Certique-se de

que as extremidades (+) e (–) das pilhas correspondem às indicações

(+) e (–) nas extremidades do compartimento das pilhas.

3. Feche a cobertura do compartimento das pilhas.

NOTA:

 Durante o funcionamento, aponte o emissor de sinal do telecomando

para a janela recetora da unidade interior.

 A distância entre o emissor do sinal e a janela recetora não deve ser

superior a 8metros e não deve haver obstáculos entre estes.

 O sinal pode ser facilmente interrompido numa divisão onde haja luz

uorescente ou telefones sem os. Nestas situações, chegue o teleco-

mando mais perto do eletrodoméstico para um funcionamento ável.

 Substitua as pilhas novas por outras do mesmo modelo quando for

necessário substituí-las.

 Se não pretender utilizar a unidade por um período mais prolongado,

retire as pilhas do telecomando.

 Se o mostrador do telecomando estiver obscuro ou não apresentar

imagem, substitua as pilhas.
