For your safety do not turn on watch or operate the unit while driving. In some
countries and regions it may be against the law. The product is comprised of
many precision electronic components, self-renovation or disassembling may
cause malfunction to the device.
Note:
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock do not expose this product to rain or
moisture.
High voltage inside! Do not open or dismantle the unit. Do not repair yourself.
Refer servicing to qualified personnel.
The product is a laser product. Make sure to read this instruction manual before
operating.
Do not try to open the covers and avoid direct laser radiation. When the cover of
the unit is opened or the interlocking system is unlocked the Laser light can be
visible. Direct vision of Laser beam is hazardous to your eyes.
In order to prolong the life of the unit which has a large amount of integrated
circuits and a precision pick-up device, Frequent Turning On/Off may damage
the unit. Leave a 5 seconds interval.

The LCD panel may have pixels out which is common for matrix display
technology and does not indicate defect or faults.

Disc-related terms
Title (DVD Only)
The main film content or accompanying feature content. Each title is assigned a title reference
number enabling you to locate it easily.
Chapter (DVD Only)
Sections of a film or a musical piece that are smaller than titles. A title is composed of one or
several chapters. Each chapter is assigned a chapter number enabling you to locate the chapter you
want. Depending on the disc, no chapters may be recorded.
Track (Video CD and audio CD only)
Sections of a film or a musical piece on a video CD or audio CD. Each track is assigned a track
number, enabling you to locate the track you want.

Precaution
Safety
Please check the voltage in the car is correct for the machine requires before playing.
This machine has a laser system which is harmful for the eyes, please do not open the
unit. Any repair needed must be performed by qualified personnel.
Placement
The storage temperature ranges from -30°C to -75°C, operating temperature ranges
from -10°C to 55°C.
Please keep the pick-up clean and away from dust. A cleaning disc can help deal with
this problem if it occurs. For detailed operating instructions for cleaning the pick-up
you can consult the user manual of your cleaning disc.
Do not expose this unit to rain or moisture. Avoid dropping or impact to the unit.
Vapor on convex mirror and Trouble shooting
There can be liquid on the convex mirror in the following cases but it is a normal
phenomena.
Due to sudden change in Temperature and car air-conditioning their can be a vapor
formation on the convex mirror. To de-vaporize it please takeout the disc and power
ON the unit for about one hour.
Please wipe the machine with soft and dry cloth to avoid scratching the screen.
Note
Handling discs:
Do not touch the playback side of the disc. Hold the disc by the edges so that
fingerprints will not get on the surface.
Do not stick paper or tape on the disc.
Storing discs:
After playing store the disc in its case.
Do not expose the disc to direct sunlight, sources of heat or leave it in a parked car
exposed to direct sunlight.
Fingerprints and dust on the disc can cause poor picture quality and sound distortion.
Before playing clean the disc with a clean cloth. Wipe the disc from the center
out. Do not use strong solvents such as alcohol, benzene or thinner.

Instructions for Remote control
(1)Press the catch and pull out the battery tray. Insert the battery, type CR2025, with
the stamped (+) mark facing upward. Insert the battery tray into the remote control.
(2)Direct the remote control at the infrared receiver of the machine within 60°and 4
meters, without any barriers between them.
(3)Commonly the life-span of the batteries is about one year. Always replace the old
set of batteries.
(4)Please take out the battery when not using the remote control for a long time.
(5)Please pull out the separation film before using the remote control.
Warning:
Store the battery where children cannot reach. Do not recharge, disassemble, heat or
dispose of it in a fire.

Installation and connection Method
Please make sure of the suitability of the system. Use suitable accessories and tools in
installation or disassembling.
Installation Methods:
Step 1 Removing the original Headrest
Step 2 Selecting the right headrest poles and installing the monitor with DVD player
then adjusting the poles into the right position
Step 3 Threading the power cord and the A&V cord through the steel tubes on the
backside of the seat
Step 4 Fixing the headrest and Adjusting to the driver's requirements.

Remote control layout
NOTE: press the menu button once for menu function. Press and hold the menu button for a
few seconds to access the infrared A/B frequency switch function. The volume - / + buttons
are functional for menu reset.

Note: Not all buttons function in all player modes or on all disc formats.
Basic Operation
Make sure that you have correctly connected your unit as described earlier in this
manual.
Turn on the power, and insert a disc.
1. Press the power button to turn ON.
2. Press the Open button to open the disc cover, put the disc in the tray and close the
cover.
The player will play automatically and display the disc format on the screen.
Power Open
3. While playing DVD discs please select one item in the DVD menu or title menu.
While playing VCD2.0 or CDs the player will play one by one.
4. Press the Direction Buttons or the Number Buttons to select the desired item then
press Enter or Play to start.
5. Press Pause to stop temporarily. Press pause again or Play to cancel pause. While
playing a DVD disc, press stop once for memory stop, press Play for memory play,
press Stop twice to stop playing and enter stop mode.

6. While a DVD disc is playing Press Fast Forward to cycle through speeds
Press Fast Backward to cycle through speeds
Press Play to return to normal playing mode.
7. Slow
While a DVD disc is playing, press the Slow button to cycle through speeds
While VCD disc is playing, press slow button to cycle through speeds
Note: Press Play to return to normal playing mode
8. To select the previous item or chapter press the Previous button, to select the next
item or chapter, press the Next button.
Note: If there is no Chapter/track on the disc the above functions will be disabled
automatically.
Functions Explanation
Menu/PBC
(1)Press Menu/PBC to return to the main menu or the Title menu while playing a
DVD disc.
(2)While playing a VCD disc, Press Menu/PBC to turn PBC on or off. (No function
with DVD disc playing)
(3)Only return to the main menu to select one song in PBC-on mode.
(4)Press the Number buttons to select one song in PBC-off mode.
Title/Return
(1)While playing a DVD disc, press Title to enter into the title menu directly, select
the desired item by pressing the Direction buttons or Number buttons.
(2)While playing VCD2.0, press Title to return to the previous menu; however this
function is disabled in PBC-off mode (Only for compatible discs).

Display
The user can check the elapsed time or remaining time of current title and chapter by
pressing Display. Press Display to cycle through the following:
(1) Playing DVD disc
Press Display for the first time, screen shows the elapsed time of current title.
Press Display for the second time, screen shows the remaining time of current title.
Press Display for the third time, screen shows the elapsed time of current chapter.
Press Display for the fourth time, screen shows the remaining time of current chapter.
Press Display for the fifth time to exit.
Playing VCD disc
In PBC ON mode
Press Display for the first time, screen shows the elapsed time.
Press Display for the second time, screen shows the remaining time.
Press Display for the third time to exit.
In PBC OFF mode
Press Display for the first time, screen shows the elapsed time of the current item.
Press Display for the second time, the screen shows the remaining time of the current
item
Press Display for the third time, the screen shows the elapsed time of the entire disc.
Press Display for the fourth time, the screen shows the remaining time of the entire
disc.
Press Display for the fifth time to exit.

Search
Press Search, input a title, a chapter or a time, the player starts playing from the
desired point to the end point.
Playing DVD disc:
(1) Search a title or a chapter
Press Search. Press Left or Right to select title.
For example: press Number button 3 to select title 3, select Chapter 1 by pressing
Direction Buttons, the screen shows:
(2) Search by time
Press Search, screen shows:
For example: Press Number button to input 0, 1, 0, 6, 1, 8, the player will play from
the point at 01:06:18
(3) Playing VCD disc
Press Search to check the elapsed time for the entire disc and the current item during
VCD disc playing.
Press the Number buttons to input a time, the player will play from the point you've
selected.
Subtitle
While playing a DVD disc with multi-subtitles, choose the desired subtitle shown on
the screen. This feature is not available on all discs.
Note: This setting is valid only for the current disc. The subtitle language can be
changed from the DVD setup menu.
Audio
If there is multi-language feature while a DVD disc is playing, you can select one by
pressing Audio. The left audio, right audio, mixed sound and the stereo shows on the
screen while playing a VCD disc. You can select one when playing a story disc with
dual languages.
Note: This feature setting is valid only for discs which have multi-language settings.
Angle
If the disc contains scenes recorded at different camera angles you can change to a
different camera angle during playback. Press ANGLE repeatedly during playback to
select the desired angle. This feature is not available on all discs.
It will show on the screen when this function is not available on the disc.

Zoom
In this mode the dynamic or still picture can be zoomed into at most by 4 times. Press
Zoom, the picture is zoomed in by 2x, 3x, 4x times. And press Zoom again to return
to the normal playing mode. The dynamic or still picture can be reduced at most by 4
Times. The picture is reduced in by 1/2, 1/3, 1/4. Press again to return to normal
playing mode.
Repeat
(1) While playing DVD disc, press Repeat once to repeat playing one chapter.
Press Repeat for the second time to repeat playing one title, press Repeat for the third
time to repeat playing the entire disc, and press Repeat to cancel.
(2) In PBC off mode:
While playing a VCD disc, press Repeat for first time to repeat one song.
Press Repeat for the second time to repeat the entire disc.
Press Repeat for the third time to cancel.
Direction Buttons
Press Direction Buttons to make free selection in title, content and setup menu easily.
Note: Direction buttons on the player can perform Fast Forward/Fast Backward,
Previous/Next functions while playing disc.
Program
Press Program to enter into program menu, press the number buttons to input the
number of the title and the chapter on the DVD disc or CD disc.
Press direction button to select the track you want to start playing.
To cancel program function, press Program to enter into program menu and select
Stop.
Mute
Press Mute one or more to select mute on or mute off.
Stop
Press STOP button to Stop playing; Press Play button again, continue to play.
AV-Shift
Press AV-Shift to shift from DVD-playing mode to AV-input, or AV-input to
DVD-playing mode, when there is no signals, the screen will be blue.
Note: Once the unit restarts in AV-IN mode, it will be DVD-playing mode.

Note: “Parameter Memory” is the last parameter settled before turning off power
which is memorized automatically.
Restore Default Settings is only for Brightness; Contrast Ratio; Display Colors; Hue;
Rotate Picture Angles; Display Mode. The settings restored are primary reference for
you.
Setup
Setup
The setup page includes General Setup, Video Setup, Password Setup, Preference
Setup Page and Exit.
Setup page will show on the screen by pressing Setup.
Operating methods:
Press Setup to enter into Setup page
Move up/down to select the desired item
Move left/right to select the desired item
Press Enter to confirm
To exit setup press Setup again or select Exit in setup menu (show as pictures):

General Setup page
(1) TV Display
Please operate via the setup menu and refer to the pictures as follows
Note: If the aspect ratio is 4:3 it is able to show in 16:9.
The image is compressed horizontally if the DVD disc system is in 16:9.
Because low-quality or pirated discs will result in bad viewing, Please play high
quality discs for your enjoyment.

(2) TV Type
PAL/NTSC is compatible
(3) Angle Mark
When Angle Mark is on, user can select a special angle for watching (only for discs
with this function)
(4) OSD Language
Is available for the user to select one language for both the entire setup menu and the
OSD language.
(5) Last Memory setup
Disc will be played from the last stop position in Memory-play-on mode.
Video Setup
According to instruction of menu setting and following diagram to select required
item. Video setting including: brightness, contrast, hue and saturation. Press direction
button Up/ Down to select required item. Press direction button Left/Right to adjust
analog increase/decrease.

Password Setup Page
The original password is 6666; please select Password to input yours. If the password
is forgotten or mixed-up, please input 9999.
Preference pages
Please operate via the Setup menu.
Note: This function can be performed only when the player is in stop mode.
(1) Voice
Please operate via the setup menu.
Voice will be in English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian and so
on depending on the discs.
(2) Subtitle
Subtitle will be in English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian and
so on depending on the discs. User can either hide the subtitle or choose any available
language while playing DVD discs.
Note: This function is not available on all discs
(3) Selecting Language by Disc Menu
If a Disc has different languages such as French, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean,
Russian, and so on, these languages can be played by this unit and the user can select
any language from the disc menu.

(4) Parental Setup
Movies on DVDs may contain scenes not suitable for children. Therefore discs may
contain Parental Control information that applies to the complete disc or to certain
scenes on the disc.
These scenes are rated at different levels. More suitable scenes are available for
selection on some discs. Ratings are country-dependent. The Parental Control feature
allows you to prevent discs from being played by your children or to have certain
discs played with alternative scenes.
(5) Default
Select default to restore original factory setting.
MP3
Basic Operation
MP3 can be played by List mode, Program mode and normal mode. Select
mode during stop. Press Repeat to repeat playing one song or play by list.
Disc Playing
(1) Place the disc to the loader correctly, player begins to search the disc files and
enter into Normal Playing Mode.
(2) Move Direction Buttons or use the Number buttons to select the desired item in
submenu, Press Play to start.
(3) Press Stop then press the Direction Buttons to select other submenus
Other Functions
Mute, Vol control, previous/next functions can be controlled directly from unit while
MP3 disc/Audio CD is playing.
JPEG
This unit can play Picture CDs in JPEG format. JPEG is the most popular picture
compressing format currently used.
Press Number Buttons to Select Pictures
(1) Place the disc in the loader correctly and the player starts searching.
(2) Press the Number buttons to select the picture album
Make selection by the disc menu
(1) Place the disc to the loader correctly, player starts searching. Main menu
shows on the screen, select from NO.1 with the Direction Buttons, press Play to
confirm.

(2) Press the Direction Buttons to select a picture in current picture album, press Play
to start
(3) Press the Direction Buttons to select other pictures during stop.
(4) Return to the previous menu by selecting File during stop. Then Press Play.
Trouble Shooting
Please consult the Trouble shooting sheet to deal with these problems:
No Sound or bad sound
Please check if cables are connected properly
Please check audio shift setup.
Please adjust the receiving frequency to harmonize with the transmitting frequency
No Picture
Check if cables are connected properly.
Video Input is not yet set up correctly.
Check the monitor is on or off.
Poor picture
The color is not properly adjusted; please use the remote control to adjust it.
The disc is scratched or spotted.
The player does not work, or no disc
Insert the disc, Check the disc is inserted the right way round, place the disc with the
playback side down.
The disc is dirty. Clean the disc.
The unit has moisture inside, take out the disc and power off the unit for about one
hour.
Disconnect the power cord and plug the power cord into a wall outlet securely again
to reset unit.
The remote control does not work properly
There is an obstacle in the path of the remote control and the unit. Remove the
obstacle.
Check if remote control is pointing at the receiver or not.
The batteries in the remote control are exhausted. Replace the batteries with new
ones.
Note
Please contact an approved service center if the problems can't be
solved by the methods offered.

Warranty Terms and Conditions
1) Coverage:
Claims can be validly made only upon presentation of proof of purchase through an invoice or
receipt.
2) Application:
The present warranty enters into effect on the date of delivery to the user.
3) Period of validity:
2 years warranty for the device - 90 days for the accessories (components of the product).
4) Validity of warranty:
a) Without prejudice as to the legal guarantee according to article 1641ff of the civil code, the
products are under warranty if used according to the directions included in the instructions.
b) The warranty is valid only for the first user conditionally to the device being used wisely and
under normal conditions, i.e. suitable for the product.
c) The warranty covers all repairs and/or replacements of components and accessories which
are recognized as being defective by our technical department, without any granting of
damages.
d) The performance of the obligations resulting from the warranty does not entail an extension
or renewal of the warranty period, except in case of components which are replaced and which
fall under the legal guarantee (i.e. in case of exchange or repair under warranty, the period will
be neither extended nor renewed. In this case, the warranty and the period of the first warranty
will remain applicable).
5) Damages not covered:
As the device is recognized as being in good working condition and without noticeable defect,
THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:
transport costs, nor charges relating to an intervention at the address of the purchaser.
Scratches, splinters or marks in the packaging of the device or its accessories which were not
noted at the time of delivery / breakable accessories, except in case of manufacturing defects
recognized by our technical department. Moreover, we wave any liability for general damages
resulting from a defect in the functioning of our devices and which are not relating to the
devices themselves. This will in no case entitle to any indemnification for damages caused to
disks because of a halt of the device.
6) Excemptions from the warranty are the following:
Interventions due to a faulty installation or connection / a failure in the electrical installation of
the premises or vehicle or of nominal values provided for the supply of the device / a wrong
manipulation or bad use by the user, insufficient or incorrect maintenance / a fall of or a blow to
the device or an accessory / a lack of protection of the device and its accessories at the time of
the transport by or for account of the user.
7) The warranty is cancelled:
For devices and accessories having been repaired or altered by persons not authorized by us
or whose manufacturing number was altered or deleted.
8) For repairs:
Please contact your retailer.
9) For any disputes or litigation:
The law courts of Luxembourg are exclusively competent.
