∙ This appliance is intended for

Min. (0.5 l) and Max. (1.5 l) markings.
Overfi lling the container may cause
danger from boiling water being
forced out.
∙ Also beware of the danger of
scalding from hot steam being
emitted. Therefore, do not touch any
parts of the appliance except the
handle during use.
∙ Caution! During the boiling process
and when pouring out hot water, the
lid must be kept closed at all times.
∙ The kettle may only be operated with
the base provided with the appliance.
∙ Never remove the water container
from the base (or replace it) while the
appliance is switched on.
∙ The electrical connections in the
base must be protected at all times
against possible contact with water.
∙ Caution: Any misuse of the
appliance can cause severe personal
injury.
∙ Caution: Keep any packaging materials
well away from children – such materials
are a potential source of danger, e.g. of
suffocation.
∙ Every time the appliance is used, the
main body including the power cord as
well as any attachment fi tted should
be checked thoroughly for any defects.
