Before using for the rst time
– Before the appliance is used for the
rst time, all detachable parts must be
thoroughly cleaned as described in the
section General Care and Cleaning.
Short-time operation

domestic quantities of food; it can be operated
without interruption for a maximum of 1
minute, when it should be allowed to cool
down for approximately 5 minutes.

Blender operation
– Always use a suitable container for
operation. A tall container with a at base
is best.
– Push the blender unit down into the
ingredients in the bowl before brie y
switching the unit on with the operation
button.
– Make sure that the unit can rotate freely
inside the bowl and is not blocked during
operation.

released, the blender will switch o .
Always wait until the motor has come
to a complete standstill before li ing the
blender attachment from the mixture.

e blade unit and blender disc both screw
on and o . Before removing, ensure that the
drive pin on the sha of the blender unit sits
properly in its recess; then use a suitable cloth
to grip the attachment, turning it clockwise to
unscrew and remove. (Caution: the blades
are extremely sharp.) In the same way, when
tting an attachment, use a cloth to grip and
turn it anti-clockwise to tighten.

e blade unit is suitable for processing
fruit and vegetables, and when preparing
baby food, purée or mashed food.

e blender disc is suitable for any kind
of liquid - milk, yoghurt, mayonnaise,
cocktails etc.
Sieve and blender jug
e sieve can be inserted in the blender jug.
When processing fruit and vegetables, the

Blender models with additional chopping
attachment
With the normal blending rod removed, the
drive unit can be attached to the chopping
attachment.
