If repairs are needed,

∙ Before cleaning the grill,
ensure it is disconnected
from the power supply and
has completely cooled
down.
∙ To avoid the risk of electric
shock, the heating element
and power cord must not be
immersed in liquid or even
allowed to come into contact
with it.
∙ Clean the rack with hot
soapy water. For detailed
information on cleaning the
appliance, please refer to
the section Cleaning and
care.
∙ The appliance is not
intended to be operated by
means of an external timer
or separate remote-control
system.
∙ Do not, under any
circumstances, use charcoal
or any other solid or liquid
fuel to operate the grill.
∙ Caution: Do not cover the
rack with aluminium foil,
barbecue dishes or other
items, as the resulting build-
up of heat could seriously
damage the grill.
∙ The picture shows how
much water should be put
into the grill pan.
∙ This appliance may be used
by children (at least 8 years
of age) and by persons with
reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or
lacking experience and
knowledge, provided
they have been given
supervision or instruction
concerning the use of
the appliance and fully
understand all dangers and
safety precautions involved.
