‘Time setting’ rotary control
The time can be set up to 30 minutes (Inner range).
To set times of less than 2 minutes, rst turn the rotary control beyond this time and then slowly turn it back to the desired
time.
As soon as a time has been set and the door has been closed, the appliance will switch on.
The appliance can be switched off at any time by turning the rotary control back to “0”.
Defrost function
The ‘Time setting’ rotary control can also be used to select the ‘Defrost by weight’ function. It enables automatic defrosting
of food according to its weight. To do this, set the ‘Time setting’ rotary control to the appropriate weight
(Outer range / ).
Operating sequence
Put the food into a suitable dish and place it on the ceramic base or the grill rack.
When food is treated with microwaves, it should be covered to prevent it from drying out. Glass or plastic covers
especially designed for use with microwave appliances are available at most kitchenware dealers.
Do not use a cover with the combination or grill functions!
Select the appropriate power using the ‘Power setting’ rotary control.
Close the door and set the required time with the ‘Time setting’ rotary control or the appropriate weight for defrosting.
The cooking/defrosting process will begin and the interior area will be illuminated.
In order to achieve an even heat distribution, we recommend opening the door halfway through and stirring or turning the
food. Warning, Burn Risk! Use suitable pot holders!
Tip!
When preparing two portions on the grill rack and ceramic base, place the food as offset in the cooking space so that
the two portions are not directly across from each other. Switch the position of the food halfway through.
If the door is opened during the cooking process, the appliance will switch off and the running time will stop.
After the set time has elapsed, a signal will sound and the lighting inside the appliance will switch off.
Warning, Burn Risk! Use suitable pot holders!
Allow the food to rest for a few minutes so that the heat can be evenly distributed.
After the preparation, leave the door open for a while to allow any moisture to escape.
Cleaning
The microwave must be cleaned regularly and any food residue must be removed after each use.
Do not clean the unit with water: ensure that no water is allowed to enter the ventilation slots on the inside or outside of
the unit. Do not use any steam cleaning appliances for cleaning.
The appliance must not be treated with liquids. No liquid may enter the ventilation openings on the inside or outside of the
appliance.
A slightly damp, soft cloth and a very small amount of dish detergent are suitable for cleaning the ceramic base and the
entire appliance. Then rub dry with a soft cloth.
The interior surfaces must be cleaned thoroughly after each cycle of use. Any food residue must be removed.
Clean the cooking space after each use. The inside of the door, the door frame and the ceramic base must always be
kept clean.
Clean the grill rack in hot soapy water. Do not clean in a dishwasher.
After cleaning, leave the door open for a while to allow any moisture to escape.
