the battery must be fully charged for a
period of approximately 12 hours. However,
the appliance can remain on charge for a
longer period without damage or danger.
Should you experience a considerable
decrease in trimming performance, switch
off the appliance and recharge the battery.
The trimmer may also be used with the
adapter. In this case, however, the battery
must be charged for approximately 10
minutes. The charging process starts only
once the unit is switched off and is shown by
the charge indicator.
-
With the appliance switched off, insert
the connecting plug of the adapter into
the corresponding jack on the main unit
or the charging base.
-
Insert the adapter into a suitable wall
socket. The charging process begins
automatically and is shown by the charge
indicator. The charge indicator remains
on as long as the charging base is
connected to the mains.
The charging process only starts if the
unit has been switched off.
-
When the charging process is complete,
always remove the adapter from the wall
socket first before disconnecting the plug
from the appliance or the charging base.
-
While charging, the transformer within
the adapter will become warm. This is
perfectly normal and safe and does not
indicate a malfunction of any kind.
-
If the appliance has not been used for a
long period of time, the capacity of the
battery may decrease by a certain
amount. However, full capacity will be
restored after several
charging/discharging cycles.
