Power cord storage
There is a power-cord storage compartment in the base.
Unwind the cord to the required length before use. After
use, wind up the cord.
Operation
Preparing the unit
Fit the drive stem onto the drive shaft on the base.
Fit the juice container so that the
and marks face
each other.
Fold the juice outlet up.
Lock the juice container by turning it clockwise, so
that the and marks face each other and the juice
container is heard locking into place.
NB:
If the juice container turns during operation, it is not
properly locked. In that case, switch the appliance off,
lock the container properly and then continue.
Fit the pulp sieve onto the juice container.
Fit the juicer dome over the pulp sieve and onto the
drive shaft.
Fitthelidinsertintothelidandpushitrmlydown.
Push the hinge opener on the juice container down and
tthelidintothehinge.
Place a suitable container under the juice outlet and fold
the outlet down.
Connect the appliance to the mains. The juicer is now
ready for use.
Extracting juice
Cut the citrus fruit in half and place one of the halves
onto the dome with the cut section facing downwards.
Close the lid; ensure that it is heard locking into place.
Use the On/Off switch to turn the appliance on. A beep-
signal is heard and the ‘Start’ button lights up.
Push the ‘Start’ button until you hear a beep-signal.
The fruit is now pushed up, juice is extracted and the
fruit is lowered again, the juice being collected in the
container.
Wait until the motor has come to a complete standstill.
Now the lid can be opened, the fruit residue removed
and a new piece of fruit put on the dome.
When processing larger quantities of fruit, the pulp sieve
must be emptied from time to time as necessary.
When extracting juice from larger fruit (e.g. grapefruit),
ensure that the Max marking is not exceeded – the juice
outlet must be folded down early enough.
After use, fold the juice outlet up and switch the
appliance off.
Remove the plug from the wall outlet and clean the
appliance.
Reset button
Following a power interruption, or if the appliance is
blocked up, the pulp sieve and juicer dome will remain
intheircurrentposition.Theresetbuttonashesand
beep-signals are heard.
Push the reset button. The unit now reverts to its starting
position and the juicing process can be continued.
