Key Features
Before you get started with PhotoStack, we recommend you familiarize
yourself with PhotoStack key features.
• An intuitive user interface
The PhotoStack workspace puts your collection first, with the
useful tools you need close by.
• Learning Assistant
The Learning Assistant starts when you first launch
PhotoStack, showing you the latest news and learning
resources.
Flexible importing
• Import photos from anywhere (p. 13)
Import photos into your library from virtually anywhere—a
DSLR camera, memory card, USB drive, Smartphone,
computer or network.
• Broad compatibility
A wide range of file types are supported including popular
standard photo formats, camera RAW files, deep-colour 16-bit
per channel photos such as HDR shots, plus audio and video.
• Smart import options (p. 14)
Automatically optimize photos for fast searching and sorting by
tagging on import and creating photo stacks. Options allow
you to easily copy photos, rename files, and delete imported
files from USB devices as part of the import process.
• Watch folders (p. 16)
Include folders to let PhotoStack automatically add new files to
your Library as soon they appear.
