EXTINCION EN CASO DE
CABLES MUY LARGOS
El cable entre dos radiadores próximos no deberá ser de más de 100 m
de longitud, pues de lo contrario se ocasionará una extinción debido a la
radiación de fases desiguales. No olvidar la resistencia final.
En el radiador de alta potencia SZI 1029, cada una de 12 etapas finales
independientes amplifican la señal de entrada para un bloque de potencia
de 12 diodos luminiscentes infrarrojos. Los modelos SZI 1029-10 son de
doble potencia, ya que cuentan con 24 etapas finales independientes.

El fallo de uno de los bloques de potencia no influye de ninguna forma
en la calidad de la transmisión. Unicamente al fallar más de un tercio de
todos los bloques se ilumina, además del LED verde el LED rojo,
indicando que es necesario efectuar una reparación.

DISTANCIA ENTRE
RADIADORES Y RECEPTORES
La distancia mínima entre radiadores y receptores ha de ser de 2m, pues
de lo contrario existe el peligro de que se produzca una sobrecarga en la
etapa previa del receptor. La consecuencia sería un deterioro considerable
de la calidad de transmisión.
En cuanto sea posible, los radiadores deberán instalarse de tal forma que
haya un campo visual entre ellos y los receptores infrarrojos. Lo anterior
se logra al colocar los radiadores lo más alto posible, con una ligera
inclinación hacia abajo. A fin de obtener una cobertura uniforme del
recinto, los radiadores deben colocarse descentrados, habitualmente en
las esquinas de la habitación.
