■Gently pull the gasket A9 around the entire perimeter to remove it from the holder A13. Carefully wash the gasket in warm water with asmall
amount of kitchen detergent. Rinse with clean water and wipe thoroughly until dry. In reverse sequence, carefully insert the gasket back behind
the holder.
■If the gasket is worn out or damaged, replace it with anew gasket of the same type.
PRESSURE CONTROL VALVE
■Carefully pull the pressure valve cover A12 from the underside of the lid, see fig. D. In the event that the cover cannot be removed by hand, use
asuitable flat screwdriver and carefully release the cover. Wash the cover in hot water with detergent, rinse it and dry it thoroughly.
■
Using adamp cloth or soft brush, clean the inner part of the pressure valve D1 and dry it with adry wiping cloth. Push the cover back on to the valve.
■Carefully pull out the steam release valve A7 from the outer side of the lid. Wash the valve, rinse and dry thoroughly.
■
Using adamp cloth or soft brush, clean the outer part of the pressure valve D2 and dry it with adry wiping cloth. Push the cover back on to the valve.
SAFETY FLOAT VALVE
■Carefully remove the cover E1 of the safety float valve A11 from the inner side of the lid. Remove the valve from the hole in the lid. Wash the
cover and the valve in hot water with detergent, rinse them and dry them thoroughly.
■Insert the valve into the hole in the lid and from the underside of the lid, slide the cover on to the valve.
Attention:
Never use the pressure cooker without the safety float valve cover or with adamaged cover.
Attention:
Before connecting the power cord into apower socket and into the pressure cooker and before turning the pressure cooker on
again, allow all surfaces to cool down completely.
TROUBLESHOOTING

The lid is not properly closed.Check the correct installation of the gasket in the lid.
The lid gasket is not in its place or is soiled by food
remains.Position the gasket correctly on the lid or clean it.
The lid gasket is worn out or damaged.Replace the damaged gasket with anew one of the
same type.
The lid is damaged or deformed (e.g. by falling on
the floor).Contact the service department.
Large amount of steam is escaping
from the safety float valve.
There are food remains on the lid gasket.Remove the gasket from the lid and clean it.

Steam is continuously escaping
through the steam release valve
