■This sonic toothbrush is to only be used for personal dental hygiene of children 6–12 years of age. It is intended for home use and for private purposes. It is not intended for
business activities or other professional areas of use nor for the treatment of animals.
■This sonic toothbrush is able to remove dental plaque several times better than when teeth are brushed using astandard toothbrush. Using the two preset programs, care for
your gums using specially set speed of 30000 vibrations per minute, whilst consuming an extremely low amount of power.
CHARGING
■The toothbrush is equipped with abuilt-in battery that serves as in internal power source and enables cordless operation. Before first use or after not using it for along time, first
allow the toothbrush battery to fully charge. Only use the original charging station A7 to charge the toothbrush.
■Locate the charging station A7 on an even and stable surface and plug the power cord into apower socket.
■Check that the toothbrush is turned off and put it down on to the pin of the charging station. The built-in battery will start to charge, which is indicated by the white LED indicator
A4 turning on and off. The first charge takes approximately 3 hours. Each subsequent charge will take approximately 2 hours to fully charge the battery. If you are charging the
toothbrush for the first time or if you have not used it for along time, it may take up to 10 minutes before the LED indicator A4 lights up.
■As soon as the battery is fully charged, the indicator A4 will remain lit in blue colour. Pull the power cord out of the power socket. When the toothbrush is disconnected from the
power socket, the LED indicator will turn off.
Attention:
Do not leave the toothbrush connected to the power source longer than is necessary to charge it.
■Afully charged toothbrush will provide up to 15 days of operation when teeth are brushed for 2 minutes twice aday.
■When the indicator A4 starts flashing white or blue during operation (depending on the mode), it means that the battery is almost flat and that it need to be recharged.
■Recommendations for achieving the longest possible battery lifetime:
– In order for the built-in battery to serve you as long as possible, charge, use and store the toothbrush in adry environment at an ambient temperature of 15–35°C. Lower or
higher temperatures have anegative impact on the lifespan of the battery.
– Do not wait for the battery to become completely flat. It is better to charge the battery before it is completely flat.
– When the toothbrush is not used for an extended period of time, charge it at least once every 6 months.
USING THE TOOTHBRUSH
ATTACHING AND REMOVING THE TOOTHBRUSH HEADS
■Slide the toothbrush head A1 on to the vibrating shaft A2 from above. Prior to this, turn the toothbrush head so that the grooves inside the brush head slide on to the tabs on
the shaft so that the brush head is completely seated on the toothbrush handle.
Attention:
Do not attempt to push the toothbrush head down on to the toothbrush in adifferent direction than permitted by the tabs on the shaft. This could damage
the toothbrush head and the shaft.
■Remove the toothbrush head by pulling it upwards.
SETTING THE BRUSHING MODE
■Repeatedly press switch A3 to switch between the CLEAN and SENSITIVE modes. The CLEAN mode is intended for standard tooth brushing and is indicated by the white colour
of the indicator A4. The SENSITIVE mode is intended for brushing sensitive teeth and is indicated by the blue colour of the indicator.
Tip:
If you leave the toothbrush running until it turns off automatically, the last selected mode will be saved to memory and when the toothbrush is turned on the next
time it will run in the mode that was set previously.
CLEANING
■Moisten the toothbrush bristles and apply toothpaste on to them.
■Place the toothbrush into your mouth so that the toothbrush bristles are at an angle of approximately 45° to the gum line, see figure B. Then turn on the toothbrush.
■Start cleaning the first dental quadrant and slowly move the toothbrush from one tooth to the next. Do not brush your teeth as you would with astandard toothbrush. To achieve
maximum efficiency, only push gently on the toothbrush and allow it to clean your teeth for you.
QUADPACER FUNCTION
■The toothbrush has an intelligent timer function that momentarily pauses the toothbrush every 30 seconds to inform you that it is time to start brushing the next dental quadrant.
This will ensure that all the dental quadrants are brushed for the same amount of time. To correctly utilise this function, it is recommended to divide the dental area into four
quadrants, see fig. Cand then after every 30 seconds of brushing move from one quadrant to the next until all your teeth have been brushed.
