10. As soon as the waes have reached the desired browning level open the lid.
For this touch the handles only.
11. Take out the waes from the baking plate. Break o possible baked batter edges
so that the animal motifs are at their very best.
12. When nished baking, disconnect the device from the power supply by pulling the plug.
13. Serve the waes as desired with fruit, whipped cream, icing sugar, maple syrup or
ice-cream.
14. Allow the device to cool down.
15. Before stowing away clean the wae maker, see chapter 5 – CLEANING AND
MAINTENANCE.
16. Wrap the power cord around the cable winder on the bottom of the device.
Wae recipe
Ingredients for approx. 8 baking rounds
125 g soft butter
75 g sugar
1 package vanilla sugar
1 pinch of salt
3 eggs
250 g our
2 teaspoons of baking powder
200 ml milk
Preparation
1. Stir butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt with hand mixer until creamy.
2. Stir the eggs one after the other into the batter.
3. Mix the our and baking powder and stir into the batter, alternately with the milk.
Let the baked waes steam out on a wire rack. Do not place waes on top of each other
to avoid stickyness. Until consumption the waes can be kept warm in the pre-heated
oven at about 100° C.
5 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING!
Before cleaning, the device must be disconnected from the power supply.
Allow the device and all its components to cool down for at least 30 minutes.
Never immerse the device into water or other liquids.
Do not place the device in the dishwasher.
Detergents
Use only detergents which are suitable for use with food.
Do not use harsh, aggressive and corrosive detergents which may damage the
non-stick coating.
Do not use alcohol or other solvents.
Do not use abrasives.
Do not use essential oils.
These instructions apply for all surfaces of your device.
Cleaning after baking waes
1. Make sure the device is disconnected from the power supply.
2. Make sure the device has cooled down.
3. Remove batter and crumbs.
4. Clean the baking plates with a damp cloth, if necessary with a mild detergent.
5. Wipe out again with clear water to remove possible detergent residues.
6. Dry the baking plates.
7. Wipe the outer surfaces with a soft damp cloth.
