Problems Recommendations
If you cannot close the lid: Check that the Open/Close handle is in the vertical
position.
Check the way up the seal is fitted, see the "Cleaning
and Maintenance" heading.
If the NutriCook has
heated up under pressure
with no liquid inside:
Have your NutriCook inspected by a SEB/Tefal
Approved Service Centre.
If the pressure indicator
did not rise and nothing
escapes from the valve
during cooking:
Check that:
- The cooking program selector is set to one of the
cooking programmes.
- Your NutriCook is properly closed.
If the pressure indicator
has risen but still nothing
escapes from the valve
during cooking:
This is normal for the first few minutes.
If the problem persists, select the programme. Wait
for the pressure indicator to drop then move the
Open/Close handle to the vertical position.
Clean the operating valve and steam release outlet
under running water and check that the safety valve
moves: Fig 17. See the "Cleaning and Maintenance"
heading.
