254 Räder und Reifen
ACHTUNG
●Ändern Sie den Reifenfülldruck nicht bei warmen Reifen. Dadurch
können die Reifen beschädigt werden, sie könnten sogar platzen. Unfall-
gefahr!
●Bei hohen Dauergeschwindigkeiten muss ein Reifen mit zu geringem
Druck mehr Walkarbeit leisten, wodurch der Reifen erhitzt. Dadurch
könnte sich der Laufstreifen ablösen, und der Reifen könnte platzen. Un-
fallgefahr!
Umwelthinweis
Ein zu geringer Reifenfülldruck erhöht den Kraftstoffverbrauch und den Rei-
fenverschleiß.
Hoher Reifenfülldruckverlust
Wenn das Symbol der Reifen angezeigt wird, ist der Reifenfüll-
druck an mindestens einem Reifen zu niedrig.
–Halten Sie das Fahrzeug an.
–Schalten Sie den Motor aus.
–Überprüfen Sie das Rad bzw. die Räder.
–Wechseln Sie ggf. das Rad ⇒ Seite 263.
Reifenlebensdauer
Die Reifenlebensdauer ist abhängig vom Reifenfülldruck,
der Fahrweise und der korrekten Montage.
