XI. Faire d’excellentes photos facilement

Les informations suivantes résument les principes de base de la
photographie sous-marine.
1. Eau claire comme du crystal
De l’eau claire est essentielle pour faire des bonnes photos
sous-marines. Les fines particules flottant dans l’eau, comme les algues
et les sédiments, causent une faible visibilité et des petites taches qui
apparaissent sur votre photo, communément appelés “backscatter”
(“tâches de lumière”). Votre flash externe vous aidera à réduire l’effet de
backscatter car le flash illumine uniquement le bord extérieur des
débris flottants. En règle générale, limitez votre distance de prise de
photo à 1/10 de la visibilité sous l’eau.
2. Limitez votre distance de prise de photo à 6 pieds (1.8m)
L’eau est 800 fois plus dense que l’air et absorbe rapidement la lumière.
Votre flash externe à une limite de portée de 6pieds (1,8m) à 8pieds
(2,4m) en fonction de la visibilité sous leau. Gardez une distance de
prise de photo de 6 pieds (1,8m). L’idéal est 4 pieds (1,2m). Vous pouvez
considérer l’accessoire Objectif Grand Angle de SeaLife qui vous
permet de garder une distance de prise de photo très proche en faisant
tout rentrer dans la photo.
