9. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
a. Before the work

8. Using the correct tools
- Do not force smaller machines to do the job of a more
powerful machine.
- Make sure size and type of the machine are appropriate for
the work to be done.
- Do not use the machine for work it has not been designed
for, for instance: do not use a circular saw bench for sawing
logs or branches.
- Do not wear any lose clothing or jewelry that could get caught
by the rotating parts.
-Anti-slip shoes are recommended for working outdoor.
- Protect long hair with a net.
- Wear goggles.
- Wear a dust mask when doing dusty work.
- Protect your ears.
- Wear gloves when handling cutting tools.
- Adjust and lock the safety devices.
- Do not remove them under no circumstances.
- Make sure the tool does not touch neither the work piece nor
the guards.
- Remove the sawing wastes from the cutting area.
- If the machine has suction connections, connect a dust
extractor unit.
- The dust extractor unit must start simultaneously with the
machine.
- Never pull the cable when removing the plug from the socket.
- Keep the cable away from heat, greasy parts and sharp
edges.

- Utiliser des lunettes de sécurité.
- Utiliser un masque anti-poussières si les opérations de coupe
entraînent des poussières.
- Porter un casque anti-bruit ou un protège tympans.
- Utiliser des gants lors de la manipulation d’outils coupants.
- Régler et bloquer les protecteurs.
- Ne les enlever en aucun cas.
- S’assurer que l’outil ne touche ni la pièce à travailler ni les
dispositifs de protection.
- Sortir des rejets de coupe de la trajectoire de coupe.
- Si des dispositifs sont prévus pour le raccordement
d’équipement de ramassage et d’évacuation des poussières,
s’assurer que ceux-ci sont raccordés et correctement utilisés.
- Mettre en route simultanément la machine et le système
d’aspiration.
- Ne jamais tirer sur le câble pour le retirer de la prise de
courant.
- Maintenir le câble éloigné des sources de chaleur, des parties
grasses et des bords tranchants.
- Ne pas porter des vêtements ou des bijoux amples, ils
peuvent être happés par des parties en mouvement.
- Des chaussures antidérapantes sont recommandées pour des
travaux extérieurs.
- Porter un bonnet de protection pour maintenir les cheveux
longs.
- Ne pas forcer les petits outils à faire des travaux normalement
réalisés avec des gros outils.
- Vérifier si la dimension et le type d’outil sont appropriés au
travail.
- Ne pas utiliser des outils pour des travaux non prévus ; par
exemple, ne pas utiliser des scies circulaires pour couper des
rondins ou des branches.
