Additional safety instructions for elec-
trically operated mixing units
Use the auxiliary handles that come with the tool.
Losing control over the tool can result in personal
injury.
Grip the tool by the insulated gripping surfaces when
carrying out any work where the tool may come in
contact with hidden wiring or its own cord. A contact
with a live wire can cause the metal parts of the tool
to become live which poses the risk of electric shock.
Always fasten the mixer element properly and se-
curely on the drive shaft; by all means, remove the
adjustment tool before operating the power tool.
Under no circumstances should you mix explosive or
ammable substances.
When mixing, always wear the appropriate personal
protective equipment such as safety glasses, ear pro-
tection, resistant gloves and a respirator.
Do not use this tool to prepare food, as it cannot be
cleaned in a way that would comply with relevant hy-
giene regulations.
Operating the power tool
1) Thread the mixing paddle (1) clockwise into the mix-
ing element (2). (Fig.2)
2) Drive the assembled mixing paddle onto the drive
shaft (3). (Fig.3)
DANGER!
Use only a mixing paddle that is designed and suit-
able for the material to be mixed. A wrong mixing
paddle may put strain on the power tool which may
damage the tool and lead to accidents!
Remove the mixing paddle from the drive shaft by turn-
ing it anticlockwise. The paddle may sit quite tight in its
holding xture. If this is the case, the xture must be se-
cured with a key against turning with the paddle. (Fig.4)
Turning on and off
Turning on (Fig.1)
Press and hold the circuit breaker (5) for the ON / OFF
switch; now you can press the ON / OFF switch (4) to
start the handheld mixer. Once the tool is running prop-
erly you can release the ON / OFF switch, turning off
the circuit breaker (5).
Turning off (Fig.1)
Release the ON / OFF switch (4). The circuit breaker for
the ON / OFF switch (5) turns off automatically.
Speed controller (Fig.5)
With the speed controller (6), the power tool’s speed
can be gradually adjusted. The type of material to be
mixed determines the speed rate that is required. Prac-
tice will teach you the optimal speed required by the
respective material.
