Troubleshooting
For problems, which are not mentioned here, please consult the customer service department of the Woodster Com-
pany.
Problem Cause Remedy
Machine does not work. No electrical current Check the plug
Check the cable.
Call an electrician.
Circuit breaker shuts off the power Press the circuit breaker to reset
Emergency switch is off Release it.
Electrical supply switch is set to OFF: Turn it on.
The planing machine does not
work
Emergency switch is off Collect all wood chips.Turn the circuit breaker on.
Circuit breaker. Press the circuit breaker to reset it.Check the
electrical unit if itkeeps switching off.
Release the emergency switchCorrect the position
of the mode functions.
The automatic feed only func-
tions with interruptions when
using the thick planing mode.
Resin on the work surface Clean it with gas or with solvents, when the
machine is turned off.
The spring in the feed roller must be adjusted. Check the spring
There are wood chips between the bottom of the
roller and the cover.
Raise the roller with the lever and use pres-
surized air to blow into the crack between the
bottom of the roller and the cover to remove any
debris.
There is a jump at the begin-
ning ofa planing operation.
The thick table is not stable. Secure the table with the lock knob(on the side
of the slot drill bit).
When planing cutting tracks
are visibleon the long side of
the work piece.
The planing blade is worn down. Replace the blade or sharpen it.
Problem with the quality of
work.
The bands are loose Tighten the bands.
Cutting blades Sharpen the blades.
Tension is too high Reduce the cut.
The saw blade does not work. The bands are loose. Tighten the bands
Circular notches. The slicing planer must be re-placed or it is not
suitable for thisoperation. In this case, replace it.
Cuts at the beginning and end
of the planed work piece.
Feed is not parallel. Turn the gage to the left or the right,in order to
set the feed rails parallelto each other.

ing machine is >10 seconds.
The band is loose. Tighten the band.Replace the band if it is worn
out.
