Keep safety devices, air vents and the motor hous-
ing as dust and dirt-free as possible.
Clean the device with a clean cloth, or blow it out
with compressed air at low pressure.
All moving parts are to be re-greased at periodic
intervals.
Do not use detergents or solvents as these might
damage the plastic parts of the device. Make sure
that no water can get inside the device.
Carbon brushes
In case of excessive sparking, have the carbon brush-
es checked by a qualied electrician.
m CAUTION! The carbon brushes should be re-
placed only by a qualied electrician.
Check the oil level
The oil level should be checked before each use of
the device.
Place the device with the tool holder in the down
position on the oor. The oil must be at least 4 mm
above the bottom edge of the sight glass. Rell oil, if
required.
Oil change (Fig. E)
The oil should be changed after about 40-50 hours
of operation.
Recommended oil: 30 ml SAE 15W/40 or similar.
m CAUTION! Switch off the device. Disconnect
the mains plug!
1. Unscrew the sight glass (4) using the Allen wrench
(4) and drain the oil.
2. To prevent uncontrolled drainage of oil, place the
container under the drain plug and collect the oil
in it.
Note: Waste oil must be disposed of at the appro-
priate collection point for used oil!
3. Fill the new oil has reached (about 30 ml) into the
oil ller opening, until the oil level has reached the
specied level.
4. Tighten the sight glass again.
5. Check the oil level again after a short period
Service information
Please note that the following parts of this product
are subject to normal or natural wear and that the fol-
lowing parts are therefore also required for use as
consumables.

* Not necessarily included in the scope of delivery!
AC motor
The mains voltage must be 230 V~ / 50 Hz
Extension cables up to 25 m length must have a
cross section of 1.5 mm2.
Power supply and extension cord must be 3-wire = P
+ N + SL. - (1/N/PE).
The mains supply is secured up to 16 A.
The product meets the requirements of EN 61000-
3-11 and is subject to special connection condi-
tions. This means that use of the product at any
freely selectable connection point is not allowed.
Given unfavourable conditions in the power supply
the product can cause the voltage to uctuate tem-
porarily.
The product is intended solely for use at connec-
tion points that
a) do not exceed a maximum permitted supply im-
pedance “Zmax, or
b) have a continuous current-carrying capacity of
the mains of at least 100 A per phase.
As the user, you are required to ensure, in consulta-
tion with your electric power company if necessary,
that the connection point at which you wish to oper-
ate the product meets one of the two requirements,
a) or b), named above..
Connections and repairs of electrical equipment may
only be carried out by an electrician.

13. Maintenance
If personnel qualied for unusual maintenance tasks
or repairs must be obtained during of after the war-
ranty period, please always contact a service point
recommended by us or contact the manufacturer.
Only perform repair, maintenance and cleaning
work as well as the correction of malfunctions with
the drive switched off as a basic rule.
All protective and safety equipment must be reas-
sembled immediately after repair, maintenance is
completed.
Cleaning
m CAUTION! Disconnect the mains plug.
Clean the machine each time after completing
work.
The machine should be cleaned reg-
ularly to remove dust and dirt.
