De manchet moet volledig ontlucht zijn.
Als de juiste manchetdruk is bereikt, begint het
meetproces. Tijdens de meting wordt ook uw hart-
slag vastgesteld. De weergegeven waarde voor de
bloeddruk daalt tijdens de meting.
Als de manchetdruk te laag is, onderbreekt het ap-
paraat de meting en pompt de manchet verder op
totdat een manchetdruk is be reikt die voldoende is
voor de meting.
Wanneer de meting is afgerond, laat het apparaat
de lucht uit de manchet ontsnappen. De systoli-
sche en diastolische bloeddruk alsmede de hart-
slag worden op het display weergegeven.
De gemeten waarden worden na de meting auto-
matisch opgeslagen, samen met de bijbehoren-
de tijd en datum. Bij het starten van de meting met
de toets 1 of 2 zijn er in elk geheugen 120 geheu-
genplaatsen beschikbaar. Zo kunnen bijvoorbeeld
twee personen apart hun waarden vastleggen.
