Instructions for cleaning waterproof
watches:
Important
• Only clean waterproof quartz watches
with metal wristbands.
• Do not clean mechanical, auto-
matic/self-winding watches. The
watch's spiral spring may be magnet-
ised and this will result in the loss of
accuracy of your watch.
Please note:
The seals of mechanical watches can age
due to environmental influences and may
no longer withstand the strain of an ultra-
sonic bath.
We shall not be liable for any potential
damages.
If you are unsure whether an item is suit-
able for ultrasonic cleaning, ask the manu-
facturer or vendor of that item.
Important
• The unit is not suitable for cleaning
contact lenses.
Notes
• Using the screen insert reduces the
cleaning power.
• You will achieve the best cleaning po-
wer by placing the item in the centre of
the unit and adding just as much water
as needed to fully immerse the item in
water.
6 Operation
Notes
• Never use the unit without water!
• Only use cold or lukewarm water.
• The cleaning results can be improved
by adding a small amount of mild dish
soap or a cleaning solution for ultra-
sonic units.
• Explosion hazard!
Do not pour any flammable liquids into
the container.
Loading the unit
Warning
• Do not connect the unit to the power
supply until you have finished loading it
and all preparations have been com-
pleted!
• Sensitive surfaces such as eyeglass
lenses must be facing upwards as oth-
erwise they may become scratched.
